Having a family has always been top of my list, so much that I dare say I even placed more value on it than building a career. Being one of seven children and the middle child, interestingly, my mom was equally as excited as I was about getting married. Being a parent and taking care of my family was my first career. Those early years when my kids were growing were some of the best moments of my life. Teaching, which I had taken up as an occupation became my third career. When I taught students about 'careers', I included being a 'mom' as a desirable career. Raising kids and being a 'stay-at-home' mom is not despicable. More so, it is not something to be looked down on. Raising children is quite tasking but absolutely rewarding. My 12 “Older Sibling” books talk about the journey of a sibling with the growth and activity of the baby in the womb. The collection of stories in Powerful Parenting provides encouragement and help to young parents with a return to good, old family values. I’m Going to Be a Big Brother is the first in 12 books in the Series to help a young child anticipate the birth of a new sibling. This is a Pro-Life book that shares the growth of the baby in the mother’s womb every month. I also share what the baby is doing and feeling every trimester. Life in the womb matters! Parents and grandparents will feel comfortable talking about this important issue with their children as they read this book.

So Many didn't Make it Out - A Mother Chose to Keep Her Baby After a Sonogram Was Taken
This is a video reading a letter from a mother who went into having an abortion at a Planned Parenthood abortion mill and when she saw the Love Live prayer teams peacefully outside, she went in, had a sonogram, but kept her baby. Planned Parenthood takes the sonogram to determine what kind of abortion is needed. They don’t show the mother the sonogram. Listen to her letter.

Over twenty years ago, I was a member of the MOPS group (Mothers of Preschoolers.) One can never imagine the life of a stay-at-home mom. Yet seventy-five percent of them walk away from the abortion clinic like Planned Parenthood when they see people praying in front. Sixty-two percent of abortive women claim to be Christians.

Having a family has always been top of my list, so much that I dare say I even placed more value on it than building a career. Being one of seven children and the middle child, interestingly, my mom was equally as excited as I was about getting married. Being a parent and taking care of my family was my first career. Those early years when my kids were growing were some of the best moments of my life. Teaching, which I had taken up as an occupation became my third career. When I taught students about 'careers', I included being a 'mom' as a desirable career. Raising kids and being a 'stay-at-home' mom is not despicable. More so, it is not something to be looked down on. Raising children is quite tasking but absolutely rewarding. My 12 “Older Sibling” books talk about the journey of a sibling with the growth and activity of the baby in the womb. The collection of stories in Powerful Parenting provides encouragement and help to young parents with a return to good, old family values.
