The objective of this podcast is to spread the message of "Service Above Self" by bringing guests form every part of the world who are giving back to society in an exemplary way. Mrs Jacque Zandstra came to Kuwait along with the late Pastor Jerry Zandstra in 1985 as Christian Missionaries from California, USA.
What started as a tiny colonial church in Kuwait with 17 groups meeting every week, has now grown exponentially to house over 80 different groups of nationalities and denominations to congregate peacefully and share their Christian faith and under the protection of the laws of Kuwait.
In this conversation, Mrs Jacque Zandstra, or as we affectionately call her - Mum Jacque, shares her experiences and thoughts of her 35+ years in Kuwait. She shares her story of how the church has played an integral role in the growth and development of Kuwait after the Gulf War of 1991, and how it united the Christian community in Kuwait for decades.
Mum Jacque has dedicated the majority of her life to serving the community in Kuwait, and has stood strong as a lighthouse of faith to the hundreds of thousands of people that have walked through the alley ways of the National Evangelical Church of Kuwait.
This podcast serves the purpose of capturing a memoir of her journey in Kuwait since her arrival in Kuwait along with the Late Pastor Jerry in 1985. In the conclusion of our conversation, she lovingly shares a final message of hope and encouragement to the people of Kuwait, and encourages us to continue sharing the light to those who need it in within our families, our communities and our country.

Mohan P has built a $5M business from scratch in the recruitment and staffing industry, named FWC. But what makes his story special is that only a few years before going all in on his entrepreneurial dreams, he worked with as a security guard at Jain University in Bangalore. Today, he hires most of his employees from Jain University.
This is an incredible tale of patience, perseverance and commitment to excellence. He dropped out of school in the 9th grade because his father passed away. He had to earn more to feed himself and his mother. He worked many off jobs before choosing to pack his backs and leave his home town to start a fresh new life in Bangalore as a security guard.
While on duty, he would see many young bright students speaking English and driving fancy cars and living a flamboyant life. Deep in his heart he had a desire for a better life. So after work he would attend computer classes to up skill himself, and continue learn and grow with every opportunity he had.
Fast forward to 2023, his business generates millions and he employees over 50 people in his organization. He's married to his wife and has a beautiful daughter, and is currently living in Bangalore.

We've always heard of patients in hospitals struggling to pay the treatment fees. Many times this cry for help goes unheard, and many end up in debt that they cannot get out of which leads to a spiral of mental and physical agony.
Al Jalila Foundation has started a program called ’A'awen’ which means support in Arabic. The A'awen program supports the medical treatment costs of patients that are undergoing treatment within the UAE who may be struggling financially. All patients have to do is call 800 255 25452 and submit a few basic documents they require. The team at Al Jalila Foundation will reply within 48 hours.
In 2021, Al Jalila Foundation was able to support the treatment costs of up to 300 patients across the UAE. This is a great blessing for the people living in UAE, let's share this message with as many people as we can! Al Jalila Foundation is a global healthcare philanthropic organization dedicated to transforming lives. It was founded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai in April 2013.

Al Jalila Foundation is also in the process of building the First Cancer Charity Hospital in the UAE. This hospital will provide a comprehensive one-stop solution for those undergoing cancer treatment.

Martin Strel, is a Slovenian long-distance swimmer, one of the most elite endurance athletes best known for swimming the entire length of various rivers. Strel holds successive Guinness World Records for swimming the Danube river, the Mississippi River, the Yangtze River, and the Amazon River.
Martin has been swimming ultra-marathons and raising an important awareness of clean waters for many years. He has dedicated several swims to the protection of environmental resources.
Many people still cannot believe what he has done so far, so that’s why they sometimes describe him as “Daredevil”, “Fishman”, “Human Fish” or even “The Craziest Man in the World”.
He goes into depth about his journey with raising awareness about the bad health of water bodies around the world that's caused by plastic pollution. His main objective is to tell the world to rethink how they consume plastic and choose more sustainable life choices such as switching to glass bottles.

CR HOPE Foundation is a not for profit organization that has built a school named Seeds of Light School in Zanzibar. This school provides education to close to a hundred underprivileged children and also provides English language and skill development classes to the adults in the community to empower them to rise out of poverty.

Dr. Andreas Appelt is a German-trained and boarded Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon, Trauma Surgeon and Consultant Sportsmedicine, at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai for 9 years.
He has more than 35 years of experience in conservative and operative treatment of orthopedic conditions.
He has treated a wide spectrum of spinal and joint cases with minimally invasive procedures, and performed arthroscopic operations of the knees, shoulders, and knee and hip replacements.
Since 2002, Dr. Andreas Appelt has been visiting Ghana, for free orthopaedic treatment for people in need, at his own cost.
His team has served thousands of patients since inception, mainly young adults and children.
We're in conversation with Dr. Andreas to learn more about his ongoing mission in Ghana.
