Gentrification is pretty terrible, if you ask me. It hurts and dehumanizes and those are the things that I feel, never having been displaced from a home because of it, so imagine what those who have are feeling as a result. 

We have to start seeing people in ways that make them feel seen, felt, heard, and loved.

Its been a while but wanted to get these thoughts out. 

What are you ok with and how are you making that possible?

What are you not ok with and how are you contributing to that thing existing?

In the simplest ways we can create a world that is safe to exist in for all people but it takes sacrifice, unless we are ready to make that sacrifice we will continue to see the same results from the same system. Change the input to change the outcome.

Lets talk about the safety of black women in the black community and put the onus for change on the ones who need to change. Black Men!!!

The harm that comes to black women is often time at the hands of black men and how do we as black men remove the ever-present threat of harm, that women feel the need to be protected from. (This is not the only harm that is present for black women but one that I as a black man have the ability to impact in my day to day life)
