This episode is to speak about umbrellas and Citizenhood in the Hong Kong Umbrellas Movement and the Black Lives Matter movement in Seattle. Umbrellas became the symbols because they could protect protesters from pepper spray and tear gas. And the insufficiency for protection different from gas masks was suitable for them to show their citizenhood and their legitimacy.
