The boys are back from yet another hiatus to drop some hot takes on the NHL playoffs. After breaking down a great first round, we look ahead to round 2 and make some predictions for what is to come. We also take a look around the world of baseball and take a look at the current state of MLB. And finally, the long awaited return of Cole "The Cing" "Scoopy" Watkins to the One Take Podcast (26:25). Cing breaks down his collection of hot sauces and we get a comprehensive Power Rankings from 15th place all the way to the number one spot.
The boys make some predictions for the Top 10 picks (and the bonus 11th pick) and fail miserably at these attempts and the chance to take home the goofy hat. In our first Draft Special, we go pick by pick in the top 10 of what turned out to be a crazy draft and try our best to keep up
Short eppy today, boys are back after a week off to get after it. We start off with a call from regular guest Kelby Picard who gives his analysis on the Jays start to the season, as well as some other teams that have caught his eye early in the season. After some Baker Mayfield slander, we get into the mailbag to answer some of the burning questions from our fans. Then, we finish off with some NHL talk and some other loose ends from the world of sports.
The boys rattle off some Awards predictions as the NHL season comes to a close, and also chat about some of the biggest news in Hockey right now. There's also some big news in the NFL, as Bruce Arians retires to the front office and Bobby Wagner signs a big deal to join the Rams in LA. Finally, we finish off with some baseball talk and predictions for Opening Day.
With Spring Training underway and not a whole lot else going on, now's a good time to preview the upcoming baseball season. The boys predict the standings for the upcoming baseball season, give award predictions, and share other thoughts on what's sure to be a crazy season.
We thought after last week that the big names in the NFL were done being traded, but we were DEAD wrong. Deshaun Watson, Matt Ryan, Davante Adams, and Tyreek Hill all find themselves with new teams within the last week, and the boys are a little shocked. We break these moves down and what this means for some other teams in the league, and go over just how tight the AFC will be this year. We then chop it up about the recent NHL Trade Deadline, including the One Take Certified Winners and Losers™ of the deadline, and how this shakes up the playoff picture. We finish up with a lil somethin somethin on Spring Training as the second MLB offseason is over!
Action-packed episode here as we have way too much to talk about. The lockout is finally over, and we are ready to talk ball. We go over the new rule changes in baseball and break down the biggest moves of MLB Free Agency Part 2, and the Jays Chapman trade. There's also way too much going on in the NFL, as Free Agency started, Brady came back, and Wilson is moving to Denver. Finally, we finish it off with the NHL Trade Deadline, and we get a couple of surprise trades mid podcast.
The Don himself Randy Fuerst makes his first appearance on the One Take Podcast, as Kelby, Fud, and Baghead make their return after their hiatus. The boys go through the current MLB Lockout situation and it’s not looking great for baseball fans everywhere. After covering the biggest 24 hours in the NFL Offseason so far, the boys break it down and try to guess where the remaining QB’s in the league could end up. We take down Mailbag, and then Randy and Middy have a spirited conversation on whether or not Ovi will ever pass The Great One in goals.
The boys are not happy about the MLB Lockout plain and simple. We dive in to the growing tensions between players and owners, and begin to preview the MLB season that probably won’t happen. The good news is that the NFL Combine is underway and there’s lots of hot topics, such as Kenny Pickett’s baby hands and the buzz around Ikem Ekwonu potentially going 1st overall. Not to mention, we have a new 40 yard dash record holder. Moving into the NHL, we start to take a look at Cap situations in the league as the Trade Deadline comes closer.
Baghead has returned once again to join the boys as we look at the hottest topics and rumours during the first week of the NFL Offseason. Lots to talk about in the NHL as well. Leafs goaltenders have been struggling, both Alberta teams are hot, and Cole Caufield has been lighting it up under Marty St Louis. We also take a look at the hottest trade commodities in the league right now and try and make some sense of where they may wind up. Finally, we get some updates on the MLB Lockout as time for a full season is running out.
The boys break down everything you need to know about last week's Super Bowl, and look at where the Bengals and Rams go from here. We also start to look ahead to the upcoming NFL Offseason, as well as starting to mock up the NFL Draft. After Mailbag, we take a look at some of the biggest news in the NHL, such as the Tyler Toffoli trade, and Jack Eichel's upcoming debut. To end things off, we get an update on a little bit of progress in the MLB Lockout.

After Mailbag, the boys talk about some of the biggest topics in hockey, like Rask’s retirement, Marchand’s suspension, and the big coaching change in Montreal. Special guest Kelby Picard keeps the boys updated on the current MLB Lockout situation, and Randy comes by at the end to talk about the Bombers.
The boys say our final goodbyes to Tom Brady 🥲 and attempt to predict on where the Bucs go from here. After that, we break down the Conference Championships and start to look ahead to the Super Bowl. After fan mailbag, the boys make their award picks at the halfway point in the NHL season.

The boys dive into maybe the craziest weekend of football we've ever seen and provide our expert yet amateur analysis to break down the four games. After making our picks for the upcoming AFC and NFC championships, we take on the fan mailbag from you, our faithful listeners. We finish off with some of the hottest topics around the hockey world, including Chris Kreider leading the race for the Rocket, and the Canadian hockey roster for the upcoming Olympics.
