A true story. This is really only a script for an audio drama. I have an actor willing to play Dr.X, just need a Guard and a very silly Special Agent Black Socks. (apologies if the recording is not up to scratch -let me know below and I'll sort/ delete as necessary) Nancy Goodaim will be back mid January ...trying to make the story a bit like 'The Turd Prophecy of Hybobolus Clune' in that it the action kicks off in earnest at the start of the second half, so am purposely giving the story a short break. A ten minute space adventure to fill the gap to the next Nancy Goodaim episode (out tomorrow). This one dates back to the first lockdown of the Coraonavirus pandemic. It focuses on the social isolation of the elderly during that time. Specifically one sheep farmer I met who was biking into town and was not really aware of what was happening -he inadvertently became the protagonist/ hero of a story that day. Looking back now the story is a bit unclear, but might pass ten mins for ya.

Nobody would have believed that in the last years of the twentieth century our human affairs were being watched form the timeless worlds of space. Few people would have considered the possibility of a vicious extraterrestrial invasion force arriving into our solar system. Or that it would be defeated by six crusties in a Ford Transit.
But such is the way of the Universe.
Here is their story...
Kaisen Shimasen. Every Zardonian knows the words, but no Zardonian can say what they mean. The two word automated message became the last transmission from a missing flagship. They have been carved into a monument outside Zardonian spacefleet headquarters, to preserve the enigma.
A science fiction adventure in 19 parts set in the Irish rave scene of the 1990’s (between County Sligo, and outer space). The plot has a group of friends return from an outdoor party to watch the president’s address scene from the alien invasion film ‘Independence Day’. They manage to confuse the scene with reality, and set out to help save humanity -only to find themselves in the middle of a separate, and real, extraterrestrial invasion.
