After noticing the summation by mainstream media of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic to mere stats and figures, I noticed an inherent need for concentrated recounts of the personal experiences from those on the frontline. The aims of the Stories From The Frontline project will therefore be to shed light on the circumstances under which healthcare workers confront the pandemic each and every day both personally and professionally during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through this project, I am seeking to address the human elements of the challenges the pandemic poses to healthcare workers. Certainly, the impacts on the healthcare industry and profession of interviewees will be discussed, but more crucially, interviewees will have the opportunity to talk about their unique experiences and offer insight into the obscure realm of their personalized stories.
