Numbers 27:18 describes Joshua as a “man in whom is the spirit of leadership.” Joshua was a national leader and military commander in ancient Israel. As Moses’ aide and successor, Joshua finished what God started through Moses: leading the Israelites to settle in the land God had promised their forefathers. There is a deep need to reach and keep the next generation. I want you to see that need in this message, but I also want to show you that there is an urgency, and then share how you can help meet the need.

Sermon #1: The Biggest Fish Story
There is a spiritual drought in our land. Anger in our political arenas. Epic opposition in the workplace, family, and neighborhoods. A devastating loss of morality and ethics. We are living in a spiritual wilderness, and we need a spiritual leader like Elijah. Elijah lived in a time of intense pressure, with an actual drought, while Israel was being led by a wayward and angry king, and the nation had turned to worship a false god. Yet Elijah was the faithful prophet who called the people back to the one true God. When our world has spun out of control, where do we turn?
