As many countries around the globe begin to restart and reboot their economies we have to keep the safety of our employees and customers in the forefront. Newer employees, mature employees, customers, and those that fall between, need to be ready, trained, and engaged to make safety a critical part of every job. Soon we will be gearing up for increased work activities and production across America and the world. Certainly, there will be a perception that we need to catch-up and move full steam ahead without appropriate organizational safeguards. This alone will create challenges in keeping our workers safe and healthy. And we will likely face an increase in accidents, injuries, and serious events that consequently result in fatalities, both at work and at home.
