Casting off the shadow of the enemy by the light of Scripture | Real Life and the Word seeks to bring truth to the forefront with regard to the enemy. In a world where many Christians and even non-believers use “the devil made me do it” mentality for bad behavior, the Bible tells us differently. Much of the cause of sin can be found in one of our enemies, the body.
In today’s episode, I’ll cover one of our enemies, the body’s characteristics from a Biblical standpoint and go over how to win the battle over our flesh.

"Follow your heart" is something you hear when refering to doing good, and what feels right. While it may seem like good advice, Jesus tells us something qutie different about the heart of human kind. The world views this as a good thing, but this type of "thinking" can lead to disasterous results.
This episode will focus on what the Bible has to say on this matter as well as an introduction to the show.
Much of the problems we face with our common enemy is the lack of a REAL relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ. In my prison ministry, I saw this as a common problem. Do we see our relationship with Jesus as "formal" or "personal". This show will help define the difference and help you to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
