In this episode, we dive into Mark 10:17-22 and seek a deeper understanding of the story of the Rich Young Ruler. We look into how Jesus' response to the Rich Young Ruler's question of "what must I do to inherit eternal life" tells us about the importance of heart posture. Jesus instructed the Rich Young Ruler to sell his possessions and give it to the poor, but what was he getting in exchange? What is the real trade off when you live in reckless abandon for the Lord? Listen for this Holy Spirit revelation that may or may not impact your relationship with the Lord forever!!

When we serve Jesus, having Him meet our needs is part of the package. He will meet every spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental need we have, and sometimes we don't even have to ask for it. But what do you do when you have a need that isn't being met? In Luke 11: 5-13, Jesus instructs us to ask, search, and knock until you receive an answer. The words persistently, shamelessly, and boldly are used in different translations of this scripture to describe how we should posture ourselves when bringing our needs before Him.

What have you given up on asking God for? Commit to the pattern of submittance. Tell Him what it is you need. Whether He meets your needs with or without you asking, He is still the same. He is still holy & our provider. He is lending you His ear, so what will you say?

Many people have been living at a slower pace. The pandemic forced us to slow down, and society has encouraged us to slow down, but the Lord is ready to set a new pace for those who are willing. He is calling those who are ready for their next assignment, season, level of faith, etc into ACCELERATION MODE!!! We have to get out of the “Slow & steady wins the race” mindset. If you stay “slow & steady” too long, then you won’t grow & be ready.

In this episode I share a fresh perspective on divine acceleration, and how some accelerated seasons aren't intended for just blessings (as we have heard it taught), but for preparation. Don't let fear cause you to miss the purpose of an accelerated season of growth!

Remember- The Lord doesn’t accelerate things that don’t have the capacity to go faster!!

In this week's episode, we take a look at two ways we might be questioning the voice of God.

For some of us, we might be questioning whether or not we hear the voice of God at all, or whether or not it is His voice or our voice we are hearing. If that resonates with you, then take note as I give a simple breakdown on the matter and practical ways to hear & know His voice more clearly.

For others, we might not question whether we hear Him, but we question what He has said. Although questions are not innately bad, we have to be careful that our questions do not jeopardize our trust in the Lord.

Whether you are questioning if you are hearing His voice or what He has said, it's time to receive clarity. We serve a living God, and He wants to speak to you for a time such as this!!

Hey friends! Last week we talked about how the Lord will open doors before us and how we have free will to decide if we will walk through them, however, if we are fully submitted to the Lord then we will be obedient in the direction we go.

In this week's episode I share that the Lord is saying it is time to close doors that have been left open. You cannot bring things from the old season into the new season. If you are feeling held back, fearful, or hesitant to walk through the doors the Lord has placed before you, then it is likely that you need to identify a door that needs to be closed behind you.

Here is how you can identify doors that need to be closed:

  • Is there an area that is painful or a point of contention?
  • What is holding you back from fulfilling God’s purpose on the Earth?
  • What is an area where poison is leaking from it?

I discuss 5 examples of doors that need to be closed and how to effectively close them. If you want what God has in store for you, then you must leave the old things behind because you are made new in Christ!

Hey friends! I'm glad you're here, because this week's episode is coming to you with a fresh lesson/perspective the Lord has been teaching me this week! In this episode I share a little more about my journey and the doors the Lord has opened for me in this past year. Even though the Lord opens doors, it doesn't always mean we choose to walk through them. We have the option to say "yes" or "no" when we are presented with something (free will), but submitting to the Lord triumphs OUR choices.

It's time to ask yourself this:

  1. What/who am I submitted to?

  2. What open doors has the Lord presented to me that am I not walking through?

If we aren't submitted to the Lord, then we will be aligned with His vision and plans. So when He tells you to step out in faith and walk through the door He has presented, we should cast fear/doubts/questions aside and run through it!
