This week on RaceDay Nation with Rob D’Amico and Michele Rahal they discuss how the NASCAR Playoff have changed dramatically now that Kevin Harvick has gone back to back with wins at Michigan and Richmond. How Toto Wolff is pushing the FIA to make changes to the cars that are proposing so it doesn’t cause brain damage to the drivers….say what? They also talk about Mick Schumacher could be leaving Haas and Daniel Ricciardo could leaving Mclaren for a cool 21 million…well we don’t see that happening.
This week on RaceDay Nation host Rob D’Amico recaps NASCAR, IndyCar and IMSA racing from this weekend. NASCAR saw both Xfinity and Cup Series at Michigan where Ty Gibbs won the Xfinity race and Kevin Harvick breaks his winless streak and put himself not only in victory lane but the playoffs as well. He discusses how Toyota really tried to break Ford’s 8th straight win at this track but falls short with Bubba Wallace who finished second. Bubba showed some real emotion after the race because he knew this was one of his chance to grab his first career victory and catapult himself into the playoffs. In IndyCar we saw Scott Dixon beat the narrow streets of Nashville for the win which puts him ever closer to his 7th championship. Plus Rob breaks-down all the great action in the IMSA race at Road America where Wayne Taylor Racing gets to victory lane for the first ever. The track produced great racing from a five classes and John Doonan, IMSA President, delivered the state of the sport where we learned about stability and sustainability coming in 2023 calendar.
This week on RACEDAY NATION co-hosts Rob D'Amico and Michele Rahal get you caught up on all the drama from this weekends racing action. NASCAR Cup and Xfinity were at Road America, Formula 1 at Silverstone, IndyCar at Mid-Ohio, IMSA was in Canada and SRX at Stafford.

Miami GP it’s scheduled for May 6-8 but many Florida residents have been opposed to the GP because of “intolerable” noise pollution (upset the Karens) and are not giving up the fight to call it off but we learned this week that Judge Alan Fine, who was being asked to grant a special hearing that would block the race from happening, found that “any potential harm is avoidable” in terms of hearing damage – despite the plaintiffs bringing forth new evidence as requested. Remember they said it would “cause severe disruption and physical harm to Miami Gardens residents”. But the new track in Miami Gardens – built around the Hard Rock football stadium in a city located to the north of Miami – will now host the event for the next 10 years.
