There is no shortage of things trying to eat away at your peace of mind. But, when we read a passage that let's us know we are not alone in our struggles and that God is with us, it can help bring back that peace of mind.
If all of our sins are washed away when we accept Jesus, that means I can just do whatever I want, right? If there arent any consequences, should I just go back to doing what I did before I accepted Jesus?
How has the church, which should be a place filled with love, grace, and mercy, gotten such a bad name? More importantly, what can we do about it?
In the first part of Paul's letter to the Romans, he describes why he wants to visit Rome. And he starts it out with a boom!
How do we reconcile that some people ask Jesus for help and immediately they are helped, but some people go to Jesus and it seems they get nothing but silence?

When you pray, do you think you are talking to someone? Do you feel like you are actually talking to someone who can do something about what you are praying about? Here's a story about someone who had a concern and went to Jesus. What happened next was astounding.
