Love, Damini by Burnaboy. The album is indeed a rollercoaster ride.

“”I realize when I’m in a crisis , when I have “fucked up” , my response is “You fucking idiot, How could you? Of course! What did you expect?” If I spoke to my friends like I used to speak to myself, I would have no friends. So, if you do talk to yourself out loud, and I do, make sure the words are Loving, Supportive and Nourishing. Start the work of being your own best friend. “” -Wentworth Miller. This week I bring you these words from the star of the movie series Prison Break. I hope it touches you were you need the most healing and leads you on the path to Loving yourself once again. Love, D. #loveyou #kissyou #feelyou #smellyou #beyou
At the bane of our existence is a level of “selfishness” as to the reasons we do what we do. I had a premonition about this one 😁. Listen and enjoy. Love, D
There is always something to be grateful for. Always a positive. And this time around I’m “reprimanded” in front of everyone to smile, always be happy, and always look in the sunny-side. Listen and enjoy. ❤️, D
Happy International Women's Day even though as at recording time I didn’t realize 🙈😁. Listen to the past 2 weeks of 28 in 30minutes while we vibe to Asa’s V. It’s such a FIRE! 🔥 album. My favorites are Ocean, Nike, Morning Man and of course Good Times ft The Cave Men. https://music.apple.com/ng/album/v/1606768663 . Check out @eyowo “The Better Bank” on https://www.eyowo.com and Asah-Bara’s exquisite work on https://instagram.com/asah_bara?utm_medium=copy_link their joint event Strings and Stories helped me when I really needed it. Marion Aslan’s article can be found on https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/process-breakdown-breakthrough-breakout-marion-aslan . It’s a good read if you ask me. Have an amazing time listening my people. ❤️, D
We became 1 four days ago 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻. I guess countdowns have become the tradition. I haven’t gotten around to releasing the episode cus mentally and emotionally I haven’t been at my best since then. I decided the month mustn’t roll by without putting it out there. So here you go guys. The podcast is 1 and I am a year wiser. Have fun listening my people. ❤️, D
One minute its 22/01/2021, the next it’s 22/02/2022. Like for real though the podcast is a year old already. Mehn! I can’t describe how I feel well enough and I’m not sure yet how we are going into season 2 but I trust to be inspired.
From last week’s episode you must have gotten the “time waits for no man” vibe. Well I’m still at it cus everyday it becomes even more glaring. If you don’t meet life’s Energy and even surpass it, it comes at you fast. You suddenly find you are not meeting goals, you are not getting things done. This should behave been week 52 right? Oh well…. 😂 Life does indeed come at you fast!
Have fun listening guys.
In this weeks episode, Diamond shares her exasperation with time management. She talks about how the time might never be “perfect” to do what she needs to do but self discipline has to come through in those times. Routines and habits have to be formed no matter how one feels or how motivated one is. Listen and enjoy
3weeks away and it felt like forever. Consistency is one tough bitch and proper time management almost seems like a mirage butt we move! I intend to keep trying, to keep going, to keep getting better, to keep coming back. This episode was interrupted towards the end by my Mother (🤦🏽♀️ when you don’t live alone). And I can’t edit or even finish because I was recording directly on Anchor but once again, WE MOVE! Have an amazing February guys… ❤️
Happy 2022 you guys.
I realized something as "irrelevant" as how I clap my hands together is as a result of something I copied from an older person when I was much younger for absolutely no reason at all.
She imprinted on me.
What are the things that have subconsciously imprinted on us over our lifetime? What are the things imprinting on us in this very moment that would outrightly form who we become and the character traits we have 10/20/30 years from now?
Stay present because that's the only way to stay aware. Plan Plan Plan. Its your journey.
Episode 39 or 40 is all cosy and shii. Get you a glass of your favorite and just indulge.
D cares!
Happy New Years Eve Diamonds. I know the tendency to want to stress and worry about how the new year would go is a reality. You've made those plans, drafted them vision boards, laid out them goals and you just might be worrying that something might go wrong and just so many "what ifs". Do not self sabotage my friend.
In this episode, Diamond shares her determination to stay calm and at peace no matter what the new year brings and just to keep living daily, enjoying life and watch all her dreams come through.
NO PRESSURE!
Dearest Diamond,
Feeling high? This too shall pass.
Feeling low? This too shall pass.
In week 37, Diamond finds herself thinking back on how the year played out and reflecting on a time when she was depressed af.
Good thing is the dark times teach us the most worthy lessons.
Listen and Enjoy.
Love, D
PS: Don't hesitate to send me a message on IG @dearest.diamond to answer my question on what financial decision you would have made if you were in my shoes.
Doubt is such a kill joy but I beat it. Vibe to The Cavemen on week 36 as I share my experience during the process of creating my vision board for 2022 and also share a few words from John Maxwell that's helping me pull through. I am a success and so are you. Listen and enjoy Love, D
Have you ever created a vision board? I am 27 and I have never had a vision board. Asides the sticky notes thingy I did on my wall this year, this would be my first intentional one. In this episode I share all about why I am doing this, and how the previous episode "Every new day is a new year" is spurring me to take on every day with more gusto even as I prepare and plan for the "new year".
Yes, I cant wait to have all the fun finding, printing and cutting pictures, but above that I also am very excited to watch my life come together. I am excited as I look forward to having my wildest dreams and imaginations play out one way or another.

Love, D
Life happened again. Bad laptop, circumstances beyond ones control. Thankful for the grace to make new plans and remind myself that tomorrow is a good day to continue and to even start all over again.
Go ahead and listen to gist on the past few days, being aware and making sure I happen to life, making new plans and preparing for the new year.
Gave you followed me on Instagram @dearest.diamond?
Our first guest, and we are talking prayer. How coincidental. I had had an admonition just two days before and then God decided to send Amoge my way with words that I just had to share with you. Week 30 is Special and you should listen. PS: Listen to the end to hear my opinion on the metaverse madness.
A year later, and justice has not been served to our 20/10/2020 heroes.
Listen to a voice recording I made from a year ago, even before I started the podcast.
Listen to my pain about a country that could have been and my hopes for a country that has got to be.
This was daring for me. I hope you enjoy it and send me feedback on actions you agree we can take to steer us in the right direction as a people.
Have a blessed week.
Love, D
Recording, editing, uploading and altogether just putting this episode out there was an outright chore. For the first time I made a video while recording and I got only two out of twenty minutes recording. I was happy nontheless. I am indeed learning to make do with all I have got. Live my best life despite whatever comes my way. I AFFIRM: Nothing I am faced with is ever bigger than me. Listen and enjoy. Yours, D
This week we vibe to a bit of Donda. Kanye blessed me with this album and I decided to bless you too. In this episode you get a slight glimpse into the kind of things Diamond writes to herself when journaling, the kind of things that go through her mind and the lessons she takes away from life every other day. AFFIRM: Nothing that I am confronted with is ever bigger than me. I am genius and I have genius ideas that I execute daily. I am the solution.
INDEX Asoebi - an attire that you buy for Nigerian weddings so your clothing material looks similar to some other set of people. NYSC - National Youth Service Corp. A program by the Nigerian government made compulsory for every Nigerian university graduate. NEPA took light - Power outage. Apparently it happens very often in Nigeria.
PS: I didn't loose my Yoga recording after all.
What kind of story are you writing about your life? What kind of dramas are you acting in your head? You are the writer and the star actor of this life movie. Make the most out of it.
I was feeling very distracted this past week but I shook it off and I am here now. After all what kind of scriptwriter or star would I even be if I let anything stand in my way. You can handle this lady called life too.
Write a darn good story.
Love,
D
Buddha said, "What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.
Dearest Diamond, what are you thinking? With everything happening in the world and all the daily bad news, are you guarding your gates?
This week had Diamond pondering on her thoughts and bringing it under subjection.
Your thought are things indeed.
Go ahead and listen to understand why you must think greatness and keep vigilant watch over your heart for that's where life starts.
Follow my Instagram @dearest.diamond and let's relate.
Love, D
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
What would you do if you had no fear?
I would fight a lot harder for my country's sanity if I was less afraid.
This week has Diamond in high spirits and completely aware of who she is in all her glory.
In week 19, Diamond speaks her truth in a letter she wrote to you.
For me, Happiness is making progress she says.

Week 17/18
Dearest Diamond, I AM!
I missed you guys. I really did.
Dearest Diamond nights are clarity nights for me (cheap therapy 🙈)
I needed to go away though and now I’m back. Bigger, better and bolder. Speaking my truth to the best of my ability.
In this episode I did things a little different. I even launched a new segment💃🏻.
I hope my excitement and positivity latches on to you. I hope it moves you to dance and laugh and be grateful.
I hope it moves you to speak and declare I AM!
Listen to the end 😉
I totally deserve a break. just because... Eat, sleep, stretch, journal, meditate kinda week. See you in week 18. Love, D
PS: you would have to listen to know what I went on about...lol PSS: I don’t think this should have been the title tbh 😂
I am not going to act like every week is perfect. And week 15 is one of those very imperfect ones.
I cannot even get myself to type much. I do hope you listen and tell me, do you ever feel like how I feel now? How do you handle when you are here?
Send me a message on Instagram @dearest.diamond or a mail I would really love to hear from you.
Thank You
Love, D
When you return to the place from whence you came, how much growth would you record? and how much gratitude would you feel?
I visited my birth church this past week and it was a lot of emotions. I felt and experienced the innocent love of children to the conditional love of some adults and seeing again all the domestication that I was once burdened with. This week has me acknowledging immense growth and the gratitude that comes with it.
This is definitely an episode you should listen to. In this episode I drew conclusion Dearest Diamond, 'If at this point in my life, I'm not doing life for me, I do not know how I am going to Live."
Week 14 has me touching on a very sensitive topic and I promise its all from a place of Love.
Love,
D
A Diamond's Affirmation: There is Peace within my Walls, and Prosperity in my Palaces. I am at Peace; therefore I Prosper.
ps: don't forget to follow me on IG and subscribe @dearest.diamond
What is the one thing you are about that must blossom into something beautiful? In what does your heart find peace?
Amidst the waves of emotions from the past week, Diamond finds herself maintaining a particular line of thought. "The outcome can only be good'. In this fourth episode, she shares her worries about; and expectations from life. She shares about constantly wondering if she is doing enough or even doing the right thing. However, peace is not far fetched. Listen as she shares a few words from the author of the bestselling book "Shoe Dog" who happens to be her birthday mate. He is the creator of the brand Nike and finding these words from him couldn't have come at a better time.
Dearest You, Everything world turn out amazing and that which makes you the happiest, MUST! Love, D
Sometimes we bury those bad feelings, those experiences that were somewhat traumatic. We tell ourselves its ok and that we are over it whereas; we aren't. This week had me confronting my daddy issues. Finally getting to face those feelings of absence and just giving in to the hurt and then letting it go. Life is what it is. We make the best of it and break out of the viscous cycle threatening to never end. This episode had me a little too bare. I hope it encourages you to open up and confront your own daddy-like issues. Love, D
Have you ever been so at peace with yourself? Like nothing, absolutely nothing could disrupt that stillness. I think that is the best way to describe Diamond's state of mind as she records episode 12. Life would always do it's thing, and it's left to you to do your own thing. It's left to you to keep moving, stay strong, stay hopeful and trusting. It is left to you to continuously find your stillness and tap from the energy that lies at the core of your being. In episode 12, you can hear from Diamond's words just how in tune with her very being she is at the moment. You can sense the peace, the love, and the strength that emanates from her core as she shares the recipe for this beautiful being that she is blossoming into. RESET. REALIGN. RESTART. Love D
Nigeria is my home! In episode 11 of Dearest Diamond, Diamond speaks at length about her fears and worries on the issues plaguing present day Nigeria and what it feels like being Nigerian in these times. I hope that this episode ignites Nigerians to start having these hard conversations that must be had. I hope this episode makes you angry about the rights that is being taken away from you. I hope we begin from here. It is amazing what can come out of a mindset shift. Join me, let us begin to Fight as we should for this is the Home that we have. Thank You Love D
We got to double digits people.... After 16 long weeks. It's episode 10 and thus the longest one thus far. In this episode you get to meet Diamond in all her humanities. Enjoy guys, Love D
It's clumsy, it's real, it's noisy, its Diamond. EPISODE 9 This is what I would totally do if I was not worried about what my audience thought. What do you think? Send me a message on my mail @ Patrickudohdiamond@gmail.com or a message on Instagram @dearest.diamond love ALWAYS, D
It's been six(6) very long weeks. Six(6) weeks of being paralyzed, of dealing with what I now understand as Mental paralysis. I don’t want to call it ADHD (Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) because that’s more broad but, it’s very closely related. I have felt this way for the longest and it definitely feels good to finally understand that it’s not a spiritual problem. 😂 On a more serious note, it leaves you feeling drained and exhausted and anxious and worried and overwhelmed all at once. I needed to move, to get things done but I just couldn’t . Initially, I worried for the longest time and would hate myself for it because I didn't understand but, now I know better. I now know that there are ways to deal with it. In episode 8, “Dearest Diamond, where have you been?” , I talk about my struggling with the feeling of being somewhat paralyzed for the past 6weeks , being involved in two serious motor accidents within this time, dealing with Nigeria and other things that really tried to get me down and the steps I took in recovering. I came out stronger! If you struggle with this, I understand. You are not abnormal, you just need to learn how to deal and how to never let Mental paralysis/ADHD keep you down for too long. Listen, download, subscribe on your platform and don't forget to follow me Instagram @dearest.diamond. Thank You Love, D PS: I missed you too.
It's another Wednesday and it is Dearest Diamond O'clock. This week, Diamond is inspired to share an episode inspired by words from a video on Adaora Lumina Mbelu's (Author, Podcaster, Purpose and Productivity Coach) Instagram page were she addressed toxic friendships that result from assumptions and trying to tests peoples loyalty off of things we are not even certain of.
In this week's episode, Diamond is urging us all to SPEAK UP. Speak up about the things that matter to you, speak up about who you are, what you want and what you expect from people. She stresses on the fact that nobody can really read anyone's mind and so for anyone to be in tune with your emotions, or feelings or state of mind, you would have had to tell them, you would have to speak up.
Dearest Diamond shares personal experiences about situations where she spoke up about what bothered her and how even though the situation might not have been properly dealt with, it definitely felt good to have aired her mind about it especially as compared to her memory of how she felt in situations where she expected people to read her mind and they obviously could not.
Please listen and subscribe to Dearest Diamond on Apple, Google, Spotify and other podcasting platforms. Also don't forget to follow @dearest.diamond on Instagram and share the good news.
Love, D
To mark the end of the International Women's Month for the year 2021, Diamond is inspired in episode 6 by TheYounggod's latest episode (The Night She Entered Her Element: A True Story). You should honestly listen. https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9hbmNob3IuZm0vcy8zYjFiYmQwL3BvZGNhc3QvcnNz/episode/MzBhYmJjYmUtMGJmZS00ZjE2LWJkNDMtZGZjNjY5OTk5Mjdm?sa=X&ved=0CAYQkfYCahcKEwj42eyAvNvvAhUAAAAAHQAAAAAQeA
She travels down memory lane as fast as possible in a bid to call to remembrance every woman that has in one way or another contributed especially through friendship to the woman that she is today. She is grateful to each and every one of you whether or not your names were specifically called.
The introduction for the episode was expunged from the wonderful and thoughtful video my sister did as her personal take on the podcast. I am so grateful to her. If it is too noisy, and you want to get started on the episode already, you can skip to the start of the episode on 01:48
Thank you to my new and returning listeners. Don't forget to follow me on IG @dearest.diamond You are Loved!

Life is a reflection. It gives you what you believe you deserve. Your most prominent thoughts and feelings play a huge roll and life sort of mirrors it back to you. What do you believe about yourself? Do you think you deserve every good thing that you desire? Do you want more? First, You need to let these words serenade and take over... "I AM ENOUGH!"
In this week's episode (episode 5), Diamond speaks on growing from a place of complex to the realization that no one can love her like she loves herself and that first off you must believe that you are deserving of everything that you desire.
Listen, subscribe and leave a message on @dearest.diamond on IG. I look forward to hearing from you.
Love, D
PS: Happy Birthday Chisom Aniemeka. God bless you abundantly girl.
What's the point of it all? Why do I need to do this life and it's everyday solution providing? Why am I here? What is the purpose of my existence? These are all questions Diamond finds herself asking again and again as she fights to find meaning and self and purpose, as she pushes to get things done.
In this week's episode, Dearest Diamond shares her not so excited moments as these thoughts and questions plague her. Fortunately, life's randomness uses something as little as a plant (which she doesn't even like so much anymore) to teach and encourage and persuade her that there is a point and it's totally worth it.
Follow the story, follow the gist, watch it all come together.
