After listening to "Life Without", a podcast detailing the murder trial of Heath Stotts and the prior abuse he suffered while in the Boy Scouts, we decide to dig into the Hulu Documentary "Leave No Trace" which explores the larger scope of sexual abuse by scout leaders that has persisted for over 100 years.
This week, Aunt Ne and Clay take a break from review the Weekly series to talk about the Hulu documentary The Last Repair Shop. Since the late 1950's, Los Angeles public schools have offered free instrument rentals to any student who wants to learn to play. Included in this free rental is the maintenance of the instruments. This doc interviews students who have benefited from the program and gives us the life stories of the employees of the last instrument repair shop in the district.

As Aunt Ne and Clay continue their series on Hulu and the NYT's series, The Weekly, we once again find ourselves discussing the relation between left wing politics in America in relation to left wing politics on a globals scale.
In today's episode, Aunt Ne and Clay are kicking off a new round of episodes covering the Hulu docuseries called The Weekly. These are a collection of stories told by the New York Times Journalists that investigated and covered the stories.
In this first episode, we discuss the abuse of mentally handicapped children and adults living in residential facilities in New York City.
This week, Aunt Ne and Clay are diving into a documentary based off of the false conviction of Chul Soo Lee, a Korean immigrant living in San Francisco.
In this week's episode, Aunt Né and Clay dive into the new (but not really that new) conflict currently happening in Palestine.
For episode 1, Jimbo is back to update us on his recent court hearings involving his interactions with defamed Mississippi State Trooper Jason Young. Jimbo's brother, Matthew, joins him to give his own stories about his personal encounters with Young.

To wrap up season 3, we're going to dive into a story that has no current documentary because it is still a story in progress. In March of 2022, a Mississippi man named Jimbo Fischer was targeted and harassed by a state trooper named Jason Young. As a result of Mr. Fischer's issues with not only Trooper Young, but the justice system as a whole, a Facebook group with over 14k members has sprung up in support of Mr. Fischer.
We discuss how we discovered this story on Tik Tok, share our feelings on the case and talk about how this story relates to law enforcement in the US as a whole.

This week we're talking about The Innocence Files on Netflix. The documentary introduces us to the Innocence Project, which is a foundation based out of NYC that fights to exonerate innocent individuals all across the US that have been wrongly convicted. We are specifically covering the first two episodes which detail the cases of two men who were falsely accused, convicted and sent to prison for two very similar crimes that they did not commit.

This week we're hitting a hot topic with in the Christian evangelical community as we give our commentary on Netflix's documentary "Reversing Roe." With the recent passing of TX SB8 we felt like this is a particularly relevant topic to go ahead and cover.
