The Men Behind the Curtain is a documentary that looks at the figures behind the scenes of Russian Politics.
This documentary looks at the history of power and influence in Russia, how certain figures came to shape contemporary Russia and how the Russian establishment has always been shaped by the radicals, dissidents and renegades on the fringes of Russian society. Key figures I look at in the documentary: Rasputin, Vladislav Surkov, Ivan Ilyin, Alexandr Dugin & Eduard Limonov.
**Apologies for sections of the podcast that have poor audio quality. This was filmed in many hotel rooms, and it wasn't easy to equalize the sound. i will strive to do a lot better next time. The poor audio parts are thankfully small and episodic. So I hope it doesn't take away too much from the experience.
