Ricky aka Roshan Kumar’s name means "Splendid light." So naturally, his Desi parents had high hopes for his academic career. After very little thought and barely any contemplation (and to his parents’ disappointment), he decided to pursue tennis as a profession at a very young age. While he did not succeed, he did live an unconventional life and made many pleasant and some unpleasant memories. For a very long time, he kept those treasured stories buried deep in his mind, but not anymore. Join him as he dives deep into those memories and relives them. Nothing is off limits. From his most intimate thoughts to drunken escapades, crazy travel stories, heartbreaks, and struggles, this podcast has it all.
This episode starts with the 8-year-old me, who adored playing video games, and concludes with me leaving home at the age of 14. Recording this episode has been a bit of a challenge. I was constantly reminded of all the good and bad memories I've had over the years playing tennis. Join me as I take you on a journey through some of my life's best and worst moments.
