Jon Totten is the Founder and Executive Director of Dogsmile Adventures. A non-profit sailing adventure organization based out of Sandpoint, ID.
Dogsmile Adventures is focused on veterans, local youth, and other under-served communities because they matter. Our veterans have sacrificed greatly for our safety and have been wildly unsupported when they return home. Our youth are our future. People need our help and it’s time we give it to them.
While their focus is on underserved communities, such as veterans, local youth, victims of domestic violence, and those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, their programs are open to anyone interested in experiencing the healing power of sailing.
Their intention is to offer therapeutic sailing experiences to anyone in our community who’d like to participate. This program is for everyone.

Laquan Sanders aka LQ is the owner of Local Legendz Barbershop and the building it is located in. We speak about his upbringing in Tacoma, WA and the trials and tribulations he faced growing up in the rough conditions of poverty. He spent time in foster care at a very young age, but was eventually adopted by his aunt. The struggles of the environment he was raised in directed him to being involved with street life.
