This podcast is possible through a grant, funded by the Terrell ISD Excellence Foundation. We want to give a BIG thank you to the Excellence Foundation for their support in this out-of-the-box endeavor. The goal of this podcast is for the learners to research STEAM areas of interest and to encourage them to explore STEAM in real-world situations, while also enhancing their reading and writing skills through the planning, questioning, and production of their episode. This is a podcast entirely made by students of Terrell ISD.
Welcome to the Terrell Tigers Paw-Cast, tune in and hear what we are all about and what this season will cover!
Episode 1 features a 2020-2021 5th grader, James, discussing racing and cars with guest star, car and racing aficionado, Mike Archibald.
Episode 2 will showcase the video game Undertale, written and produced by 2020-2021 5th grader Clifton, where he also interviews Undertale Speed Racer @MrLink2K.
Episode 3 is by 2020-2021 3rd graders Bristol, Joleigh, and Karissa. They were inspired by Joleigh’s fear of sharks. In their episode, you’ll learn all about sharks from them as well as their special guest Dr. Dominique McCowan of Unity University.
