Ahh Yoda, you great man... thing.. Jedi Master!!!One of my all time favourite quotes that has stuck with me for YEARS is from Yoda "Do or do not, there is not try". And he's right, there is not 'try'. You either do the thing or your don't do the thing. There is no in between.I dive into this concept along with a sneaky cat that crossed the road in front of me and a very random, single cough that needed to come out in the middle of the episode. If you enjoy the podcast be sure to follow along and leave a rating/review.Instagram: @jacob_weatherleyFacebook: Jacob Weatherley

This is one of the most painful things I believe a man can go through. Knowing you're destined for more and not actioning it.

Having the thought EVERY day of knowing you can have more confidence, higher self worth, a different career or a better relationship yet doing nothing about it.

That to me is the ultimate pain.

I've touched on this in a previous episode (back when the podcast was named Journey of Strength Podcast).

It was a tough time logistically, mentally and emotionally.

There was mould involved, a couple of caravans, sleeping in a tent for a week in a mates backyard and whole lot of travelling.

A lot of learnings to be had from this episode.

This is something I teach at Invictus and it always lands HARD for all the Men.

Remaining present in conversation and actively listening. Being able to stay engaged in conversation and not get distracted by your phone going off or whats on the TV.

This episode relates heavily with the previous episode (Ep.8 -True Expression) in the sense that your ability to express directly correlates with your ability to receive and listen.

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jacob_weatherley/

There is a BIIG difference between expressing and TRULY expressing the deepest, darkest and most vulnerable parts of yourself.

It's quite easy for us blokes to skim around on the surface and "express" what we think we need to express. BUT, it's only when you start to dive deeper that you start to uncover what is actually holding you back.

It takes a hell of a lot of courage to express those parts of yourself, I chat on all the ways to muster this courage and TRULY express.

At 99.9% you might as well not even bother. Because that 0.1% is a LOT bigger than it seems.

External noise will sabotage your life if you don't get on top of it early. At the touch of a button (or screen) we have access to SO much information. It's actually ridiculous how easy it is to access information these days.

But, with that comes an overwhelm attached to it. Because TOO much information distracts us from what we need to focus on... OURSELVES.

If you haven't already, I would love if you left a review of the podcast on either Apple Podcasts. Spotify or Soundcloud. Thanks for tuning in!

In this episode I talk about how Men of today NEED to have a certain level of awareness about themselves.

It's quite easy to get sucked into a vortex of negative thoughts and unresourceful actions.

Whats even worse if you let yourself get away with living like this for YEARS and YEARS.

This has and still is happening to a lot of Men today. We get sucked into a spiral downwards and we don't do anything about it.

You're living life completely wrong if you're doing this.

If you've been enjoying the podcast I would be SO grateful if you could leave a review via Spotify, Apple Podcasts or Soundcloud

We suffer from a system that is designed to get you to rely on anyone but yourself.

We are taught in school that the teacher is always right and if you disagree with them then you get punished (detention).

Then when you finally enter the 'real world' you freak out and have no idea what to do so you do the only thing you know, you get a full time job where someone tells you what to do.

Then after 5 years of doing the same thing you start to realise how much you fucking hate it and want to quit.

But, you don't. Because you're scared.

This episode is one that I've been waiting to release for a while now, listen in and any feedback is welcome.

I've been the 'Nice Guy' and I've lived as the People Pleaser. Trust me gents, it aint a good way to live... at all.

Over the last 2 years there has been a LOT of things rise to the surface for Men. Some have gone into their shells a lot more than they had ever before whilst others broke out of the shell and thrived.

The ones who stepped into their truth, into their convictions and into there highest desires. Those are the ones thrived.

The nice guys, well.... they finished last.

A lot of solid lessons in this episode, enjoy.

I dive into how Men can make their lives SUPER easy just based off the perception they have and the decisions they make. Men can so easily get themselves into negative spirals around a range of events.

So in this episode I go deep into a few areas Men can get sucked into the negative spiral and what you can do to get out of it.

In a time where we supposedly have more ways than ever to connect, why are we so DIS-connected?

For Men, what fears are present for you around connection? Fear of hurt? Fear of being called gay? Whatever it is, you need to let go of that belief system. Because it's hurting you.

Men CRAVE connection and we thrive in brotherhood. Tune into this episode where I go deep into why men need connection and HOW you can get it.

This one gets a lil deeper than previous podcasts. I go into detail around how you can face the darkest parts of yourself. How you can truly 'Face your Shadow'.

Yes, it's absolutely a difficult thing to do and I believe, a necessary thing to do.

Are you ready? Maybe you are, maybe you aren't.

Either way, thats fine. Once you listen to this you'll be a few steps closer to facing your shadow.

This episode contains very simple steps on how to step into your Strength and Power as a Man.

I wish I knew these steps years and years ago, well to be honest, I already KNEW about them, I just didn't implement them to the highest of my ability.

And by the way, you need next to nothing to be able to complete these steps. some headphones, a book and nature.

This Episode has some VERY tangible steps to Learn from your Mistakes and Celebrate your Successes.

These two systems are the exact systems I use in the Journey of Strength to enlighten Men on HOW they can learn their own individual system for success so they can continue to implement it well after the program has finished.

It's so easy to jump onto Insta/Facebook and look at someones post and think "well I don't have that so I must be shit/a failure/not good enough".

In this episode I cover some tips on how to overcome these comparison traps and my experience with comparison.

Leaning into the spiritual space for blokes is hard. Usually we make a joke about charging rocks in the moonlight and how it does nothing.

BUT, the spiritual side of yourself isn't just about putting crystals under the moonlight, it's about understanding yourself at a DEEP level.

Asking yourself the large questions, answering them and being willing to take ACTION on them.

I give an insight into my own spiritual journey and how you as a man can get started as well.

Mens Mental Health and their Self Worth goes hand in hand.

It's a conversation I've had 100's of times with blokes and something we have a key focus on in the Journey of Strength. The methods I speak on in this episode come directly from the teachings within the JOS where over the last two years, on average, Men in the program have increased their Self Worth levels by 231%.

This is one of the most epic chats I've had on the podcast so far. Tom is a ripper bloke whose experienced a lot in his life so far.

Travelling to America to play Basketball, moving interstate and back multiple times, navigating parents divorce, bullied about his body, becoming self conscious, awareness around his ego and deep emotional experiences are all covered in this episode.

A great listen for any bloke whose endured any of these things and is looking for tips on how to move through it.

This podcast goes into the four centres of our body, Head, Heart, Stomach and Balls.

Responsible for our Intellectuality, our Emotions, our intuition and being able to Ground ourselves. I go over a step by step process on how to get out of your head and drop into the other 3 centres in your body.

This is not something I would usually share but, once you listen to this episode, you'll realise I will be sharing things like this plus a LOT more.

I had a deep outpouring of emotion that ended with me on the floor balling my eyes out and throwing up. I was letting go of old identities and I didn't just energetically 'let go' of them, I believe I physically threw them up and out of my body.

Since that moment I've had many realisations and epiphanies around how I'm living life and how I do business.

Men of this world have spent too long hanging out in their head when all they needed to do was drop into their heart. Men need to follow their hearts message AFTER mastering their mind.

If Men let their mind control them for too long their heart has no hope.

Our Environment (everything external to us) has a direct effect on our mind (internal).

If your Environment is messy, cluttered and disorganised, your mind will replicate it.

Getting rid of the old shit will allow space for more resourceful things to take there place.

After a little break from Podcast recording I am back with a banger of an episode.

In this one I'm diving into that good old 'Perfectionism' topic. This is one that is surprisingly quite common among men especially within a gym setting.

This Episode is all around what holding onto shit from the past does to you.

In short, it rots you from the inside out. It starts to stink at first then it gets a bit mouldy before it goes completely rotten and toxic.

Letting go of old shit and moving through it has been a big key in my own journey and I know a lot of blokes out there would be the same.

I'm so big on Ownership. My clients know this the most.

Taking Ownership and taking responsibility not only for yourself but for your mistakes, failures & mess gives you a unique sense of freedom.

If you DON'T take ownership, you are immediately at effect to that thing/person. You're now the victim.

That is why Ownership is so damn important.

There are a LOT of great initiatives out there about getting men to spark the conversation around whats really going on for them. One things I've noticed that men seem to lack, is an understanding on HOW to actually have these conversations. What are the steps? What questions do I ask? HOW do I ask these questions.

Simple things that I believe all blokes should know.

This episode is about something that is seen as a bit of a 'taboo' topic.

Men talking about sex doesn't usually go the way of constructive & supportive, it's usually spoken about as a joke or said in a way that will get a laugh.

This is where the problem is. As well as most blokes getting there 'education' on how to have s3x from porn, we have now ended up in a society where most Men don't even know how to pleasure a woman.

OR there ego is so strong that they aren't willing to admit that they don't know how ;)

This is something I've had many challenges around, especially in my intimate relationships.

What I've found is that using a compound effect is one of the simplest ways to build your trust back up.

This week I go over something that took me a while to TRULY understand, Commitment vs. Trying.

It might seem pretty straight forward but there can be a LOT of things uncovered just from how you approach things in your life.

I believe you're always committed to something in life. Yes, even the times when you're kicking back on the couch, smashing beers and watching the footy.

Because in THAT moment, that is exactly what you're committed to.

Constantly turning back to look at your past will firstly wreck your neck muscles, then your back will go followed by your hips.

But in all seriousness, focusing on a certain thing you did in your past will keep you in exactly the same spot and could even send you backwards.

Your actions and behaviours DO NOT define you as a Man. It's what you learn and implement from these 'mistakes' that stake claim to your true character.

In today's episode I go over what Masculine & Feminine energy IS and how us blokes can choose when to step into each energy.

Both Masculine & Feminine are NOT based on gender. Men can have a strong feminine whilst Females can have a strong Masculine. I talk about the traits for both energies so you can clearly define which energy you're in at any given time.

This one is commonly an uncomfortable topic for most blokes. Pleasure.

This isn't just about s3x either, I'm talking all forms of pleasure. What you like and don't like in s3x AND actually talking to your partner about it.

I cover things like spending quality time with your partner and sensual touch as a form of pleasure.

Having these types of conversations not only will increase your awareness around what you like to do in the bedroom but, will increase the feeling you get during all of this stuff as well.

How we talk to ourselves can play a HUGE role in how we feel.

Constantly saying 'your life is f**ked' or 'jeez I'm an idiot' will only confirm to your unconscious mind that those things are true.

And the funny thing about our unconscious mind is that it makes up around 95% of EVERYTHING that we do. Including our language.
