A personal account going behind-the-scenes with the entrepreneur at the heart of the initiative known as 'InternationalEyes' at international-eyes.org. It involves wordplay and reflection, insights into the beliefs and activities that go towards helping others develop language, intercultural and professional skills to live and work internationally.
Rudyard Kipling published the poem 'If...' in 1895, a world away from the one we now live in, but the message it conveys is as true as it ever was . For me it's about personal growth, whoever you are and however you see your place in the world, so forgive my minor edits to reflect this. No apology, however, for leaving this as a message from father to son.
There's a duality in everything if you look for it - two sides to an argument, advantages and drawbacks to any approach, challenges and delights in everything you do. This podcast is based on an original blog post you'll find here, posted in late January 2021.
