In our final podcast of the year, we sat down with Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nick Braisby to look back at the highs and lows of 2022 whilst looking ahead to what is promising to be an exciting 2023 for the BNU community. We discussed everything from promising campus developments to excellent National Student Survey results, as well as the appointment of our BNU's new Chancellor, Jay Blades MBE.

They give advice on the essential items you will need to bring with you for halls, the importance of attending Freshers Fair and talk about how they overcame any fears or anxieties about moving away to join university.
In this special edition of Let's Talk BNU, we chat with YouTube personality Grace Victory and BNU student nurse Alice Finnigan as they share their incredible, inspirational story. In late 2020, Grace contracted Covid whilst heavily pregnant. With her condition worsening, doctors made the difficult decision to induce the birth 2 months early, putting Grace into a coma. Weeks went by and Grace was given a 5% chance of pulling through.
Despite suffering multiple setbacks, Grace finally woke up from her coma in March 2021 but still had many complications to overcome. Student nurse, Alice formed a unique bond with Grace during her recuperation period and they discuss their amazing story exclusively in this podcast.
New graduates Eve and Ana along with Creative Alumni Team, Kia and Georgia join us to chat about all things related to Creative Advertising. They discuss the placements they took part in whilst studying, their favourite live briefs, advice they would give to anyone new to the industry and why they chose to study this course at BNU.

At BNU, we have three campuses; High Wycombe, Uxbridge and Aylesbury. The High Wycombe campus is the biggest BNU campus and is located within a close proximity to the town centre, providing perfect access to shops, bars, restaurants, clubs and a wide range of other social activities and amenities. We sat down with Shannon, Juliet and Bernie to discuss what student life in High Wycombe town is like as well as it's multi-cultural society, direct links to industry, and ease of access to other major cities such as Oxford and London.
