Ainsworth Minott is an Englewood, NJ resident and local BLM activist, community organizer and leader. He has been organizing regular BLM marches every Saturday in Englewood, NJ since the death of George Flyod this summer. On October 24th, 2020 what started with an approximately 10-15 people BLM march at Mackay Park, in Englewood NJ, ended up with four arrests. The heavy police presence, not only from Englewood PD, but outside PD such as the Sheriff's Department, outnumbering the people at this event, and the arrests that followed left Englewood, NJ residents in shock, and questioning this excessive force by the people that have sworn ‘to protect and serve.'
