A’s Stomping Ground: Recent Episodes

The A’s started the week with 2 losses to Seattle and 2 to the Yankees before salvaging the final two against New York. The A’s now fly to Detroit and Toronto before coming back home.
The A’s continue up to struggle during one of the toughest stretches of the year. The A’s are still trying to prove they belong with the hottest team in baseball in the Yankees coming to the town.
The A’s started out the week well but then fell off by losing 2 out of 3 to Texas and lost game one of four to white Sox.
The A’s finished the week with a 3 game sweep over Texas, and finishing 4 and 5 putting them just two games behind Houston for first place. The A’s now go to Cleveland and Texas this week before the schedule toughens up.
The A’s started the week with slow offense but that quickly changed when the deadline enforcements joined the team. The A’s now return home and look to keep it going against San Diego and Texas.
The A’s started the road trip by winning game 1 in Seattle and have followed that up by losing the next 4. They have one more game against the padres before going to see the Angels for 4 games and might be getting back Mike trout
The A’s came back from the all star break going 3 and 2 at home and now head on the road for Seattle, San Diego, and the Angels. The A’s remain 3.5 back of the Astros in the division.
The A’s win three and lose three in two series against the Astros and Rangers leading into the all star break. With the help of eight home runs int the last two games the A’s finish 52-40 at the all star break.
The A’s continue to struggle this week loosing 4 out of 6 at home and now fly to Texas for the final 6 games before the all star break.
The A’s finish the road trip splitting a 4 game series against the Rangers, and losing two out of three on the giants. They now are at home with Texas and Boston coming into town.
The A’s finished the week losing 3 game in a row, and now play the Texas Rangers before coming back to the Bay for the Giants.
The A’s have started the month of June 11-2 and look to sweep the angels going into the off day, before heading off to visit the Yankees and Rangers.
The A’s finish a 6 game road trip goin 4 and 2 ,and come back to play 9 straight at home after a 4 and 1 start to June
The A’s struggled to close the home stand, but now go one the road to see some of the leagues lesser teams in hopes of keeping their first place lead over Houston.
The A’s lack of consistency is starting to get the best of them as they try to hang on to first place in AL West.
The A’s take 4 out of 6 from Boston and Minnesota despite the lack of assistance from replay review and look to start a 16 game stretch against teams in the division.
I have Luke Garratt and Jake Bennett on the show with me today. We discussed the previous week of play against Toronto and Tampa Bay. They also tell me what they have and have not liked from the early part of the season.
The A’s look to bounce back from a rocky road trip by playing old friend Marcus Semien and the blue jays and another series against Tampa before heading on the road.
The A’s winning streak came to an end but with some key players looking to come of the IL they look to pick it back up in this stretch of AL east teams
The A’s continue to ride the wave to 10 straight wins while looking to make it 11 before heading to Baltimore and Tampa Bay.
