The Conversation is a new podcast produced by two friends Graham & Malika as they host weekly conversations about causes they are passionate about and demonstrate how you can get involved or take action improve yourself, others or the wider context.
In this two part episode we are delighted to welcome special guest Adrian Rollins to The Conversation.
They help us uncover the return Government Report that declares racism doesn't exist at a macro level, racism is a developed, bigoted belief system and it should not be tolerated in society.
Adrian and Malika both discuss their personal experiences about how they have been treated just because of the colour of the skin they were born with.
The Conversation continues into Part Two in relation to Unconscious Bias and how people make assumptions based on their own bias towards other whether it be an individual or group.

In this episode we discuss another pandemic that is in our recent history and still impacts lives today - the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
We're joined by Lewis Wilkinson who share their story since being diagnosed with HIV a couple of years ago. Following the launch of It's A Sin on Channel Four it has raised the awareness of HIV and AIDS along with safer sex, and what U=U means.
Lewis discusses further that HIV doesn't just effect the G&B community but others including heterosexual women!

We have all seen the impact of the Arts industry throughout the pandemic and how changes have occurred in the way public relations, performances and delivered - mainly through technology.
Throughout the pandemic there has been several discussions about children returning to education to benefit their learning.
However, we should also consider their mental health - children not being able to socialise with their friends has been a real challenge and has had a significant impact on their development.
Our next episode discusses this further with special guest Nick O'Brien who is a specialist in supporting children with special educational needs.
In our second episode of our Conversations relating to Coronavirus we are delighted to be joined by Joan Pons Laplana a NHS Nurse who recently returned to the frontline in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a Trust in Sheffield. Joan explains that their day-to-day role was to support safety and quality procedures; but in the face of the Coronavirus Pandemic they felt empowered to return to support their colleagues.
Joan explains that we are not our of the woods yet and that society needs to remain vigilant as we start our recovery process. Joan ends by thanking us for describing the NHS as Heroes but would prefer to be called professionals. Listen now for why they state this.

COVID-19 has demonstrated it has an impact on our physical wellbeing. As England's lockdown restrictions there are real concerns relating our our mental wellbeing, for example, returning to work.
