Life happens and you get thrown off course a bit but I can do all things through Christ so here I am showing upand allowing Him to do the rest
There are a few things covered in this episode. My musings are a part of me and I wanted to share a bit
We cannot go through life without Trials. It is inevitable, just by virtue of being alive.
John 16:33 says in this world we will have trial but we also have Jesus's peace through His example. He truly is the Author and finisher of our faith therefore we have nothing to worry about.
As you grow closer to God , you begin to walk differently and not everyone is ready. Or they are fine with you changing and want nothing to do with doing the same. Perilous times are ahead, be prepared to walk alone.
We are always seeking ways to be comforted and affirmation seem to do it for us, but I was impressed lately to pay close attention what I give entry to.The word of God is the best way to affirm us. I hope you find some encouragement here.
Discouragement is hard to avoid but once surrendered is doable. I am learning what it means to try trust God and what normally discourage now encourages.
Faith is trusting God-BELIEVING that He loves me and knows best what is for my good. So I stead of my own way, I'm lead to choose His.
This Journey of Surrender is not a cake walk, sorry I'm hungry so food keeps coming to mind😃. But in all seriousness to do it well on must align one's self with God and make His will one's own.
Denying Self. The most outrageous request humanly speaking but the most essential spiritually speaking.
Transparency means you get to share earnestly under the guidance of the Holy Sprit and hope that someone is transformed.
We make commitments and renege on them with out a second thought but proverbs 25:14 says a person who promises a gift but doesn't give it is like clouds and wind that bring no rain...
Here I finally divulge the main reason for my absence. I pray that you stay with me on this journey.
It's been a while. The Surrendered journey is not for the faint of heart, but no mater the cost I persevere.
John 17:26 KjV. 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them
Love is an action dedicated to serving others and the sooner we grasp this and surrender our will the sooner we will be transformed.
True surrender cones when self us dethroned. The path to this full experience is not easy, I repeat it is not easy but it's worth it. This episode Gina bit more insight on the journey of surrendering.
Be married to someone completely opposite of you for 17 years is no easy feat. I strongly believe that God designed marriage to save us from ourselves and unto Him. It is the only institution that mirrors Christ relationship with the church. For marriage to work self must die and servantood be our only action. Only a surrendered walk can produce such fruit.

With everything that is going on the last thing on our minds might be joy, but because Jesus is our joy and strength I wanted to start the year off by wishing you a happy New Year. Despite what the previous years might have brought our way. we can rest assured that our joy will be full in the hands of the Lord.
God never sends truth to embarrass or belittle but instead to enlighten and save. God our father has kindly and graciously given us the freedom of choice but at times I wish he just made us as robots to save us from ourselves. Our opinion is no match for God's standards. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on your own understanding(opinion). Remember the Sabbath day to keep it Holy and forget about what you think I promise you the rewards are eternal. We are often cautioned not to look back in life for obvious reasons. But once you build a relationship with God you understand that it is healthy to look back if you are learning from your past and remembering how God has worked in your life.
A journey is a turning point, a recognition that we are standing a crossroad fully aware that the path of transformation is needed. All of this is true but over burdening ourselves hinders tranformation. What are you will to leave behind to aide in the journey?
Time is the most valuable asset in our life, even more valuable than money. If you lose money, it can be regained but if you lose time, it is gone forever. That is the perspective we must have in order to be intentional with how we spend a very precious commodity. Care to know what is on my time menu?

This is a brief introduction of my Journey toward complete surrender of my will to God's full control. Most of my life as a Christian has been spent controlling every scene of the journey and allowing God small cameos every once in a while. I tell you the truth, this has proven to be very exhausting and rather unfulfilling. It was time to either give up on God or surrender all to Him. I chose the later and it has been a journey to say the least. I felt inspired to start this podcast to share the real and raw realities of the Christian walk. The good the bad and the ugly if you will. Most Christians are under a false concept of what this walk truly entails. Being a follower of Christ does not equip you with a list of all the winning lotto numbers(I am not encouraging gambling:) The Kingdom of God is completely opposite to the world. When we choose Christ and die to self we start living by dying. Strength comes through weakness and battles are won by surrendering. I know it doesn't make a whole lot of sense but we have only to trust and believe. Our nature is not to do the will of our father but the complete opposite instead. The times that we are living in are dire and it's time that we stop shacking up with Jesus and instead commit to an exclusive and sacrificial relationship with Him. Diving head first into his divinely inspired word in search of the way, truth and the life. Your ability to make your own decisions was not a gift to be wasted on frivolous behavior. This my friend is the only relationship that matters. Chose wisely!
