Olivia takes us through the good, the bad, and the spooky of queer horror history, including how the horror genre has functioned as a vehicle for both queer self-identification and homophobia or transphobia. Dyanna teaches us about her work building intersectional and equitable LGBTQ+ spaces from the ground up on campus, her experience as a bisexual woman in a straight-passing relationship, and bisexual representation in media. Plus: identities under the bi+ umbrella, being the best bi ally you can be, and the harmful stereotypes we'd like to say ~goodbi~ to for good.

Veronica talks about facing panphobia within the LGBTQ+ community, gender blindness vs. gender preference, and how she learned to balance her desire to educate others with the need to prioritize her own mental health. Plus: why our dating histories shouldn't define our sexualities, why compulsory heterosexuality is one hell of a drug, and which TikTok stars made us gay.

This week we are joined by Evan Hall, a student at the University of Michigan studying HIV/AIDS. We talk about how the HIV/AIDS epidemic shaped queer and trans communities in the '80s and '90s, the activism that grew from the epidemic, and how advocates continue to fight against its legacy of stigma and homophobia today. Plus: the biology behind the HIV virus, combatting the erasure of queer and trans activists of color, and why we can all unite behind our shared hatred of the Reagan Administration.
