A very special 30th Episode!!
I can't belive I'm still doing this. Should I keep going to 50? 100? Or until this turns a profit????
My buddy stopped by and broadened my horizons on being a special education teacher and the state of flawed education systems.
I promise I'm not clowning around on this topic.... He even taught me a lot about circus life. Enjoy the listen, and I can't wait to have him back on.

Long overdue episode, with some shows sprinkled in and some serious chatter about our mental health during the Holiday season.
My Morning Jacket & the Disco Biscuits were the concert highlights for October. A flight Above the Clouds was our ballooning outdoor adventure for November.
Check out my new mini segment, "Snacks on Snacks" where I review some of the tasty treats I have sampled recently. (TJ's Thanksgving chips are the Truth)

A quick update on NYC life & my life in general. The subways are feeling a little less greasy wtih the humidity gone..
My friend passed away and my parents are having their health struggles.
Concerts on the horizon- and special very special Anniversary coming up real soon. This was a quicker recording and I need to be more consistent.
RIP Anna D. You are missed.
A little more about my transition to city life. Yoga, Concerts in the Park, delayed trains and the sticky, icky weather.
About that: I had the unfortunate experience of a great session but an unusable recording.
This is an evolving project and there was a bit of a setback. My apologies to Haley for coming on and having a great session, but we ended up with a bad recording. I will have her on again and we will have it posted. These things happen when you learn as you go.
Special thanks again to Haley for her time & Al for the efforts to try to salvage the podcast.

Another quick solo episode. With my new schedule and life its always hard to keep meeting with my regular guests, or find new ones for that matter...
I am introducing the "Chris Chronicles" (working title) -- I want to document my experiences living in NYC. Good bad and otherwise. Hopefully, we can all learn from moving to a new city and adapting to the changes.

It's been a while since I have made the time to record. All good things are coming and all thanks to my friends, family & loved ones.
Just a moment or two to reflect on getting slightly older and riding the many waves of change that come with it. I am so grateful for all of the support & help along the way. I look forward to growing this podcast and this brand with all of my contributors and partners.
Thank you all for listening & being a part of the Sunken Playground.
I finally got to sit and have a chat with one of the best people I've been lucky enough to know. An all around great person who has her own battles to fight, yet she will make time to sit, chat & reminisce about life with me & my goofy Podcast.
It is always an honor to spend time with my good friend Sandy. I hope she enjoys this and is willing to come on again in the future. Thanks Sandy!!
The Worlds Greatest Agent comes by to drop some knowlege once again and go deep in thought. In the long awaited debut of "The Girlfriend", Amy makes her first appearance on the show and joins in the discussion about music, pleasure and what drives us. It's the longest and arguably the one of best episodes yet and I hope everyone enjoys.
Time flies and so does high school. I was lucky enough to sit and have a brief talk with my amazing daughter about school and her future & goals.
Halfway through Junior year and its hard not to look ahead a little at the next chapter. This was a fun sit down and educational experience for me. I am always grateful to sit an learn from my child.
Thanks again, kid. I can't wait to do it again.

A post-holiday chat with show regular Jim C about the trials & tribulations of a job search. As we all know, it ain't easy out there these days. Looking for new work or a new career takes a LOT of effort and apparently even more patience.
Jim sheds some light on how its not as easy as flipping a switch, but with enough effort you can always turn a new leaf.
A super speical holiday episode with Mr Chad Anderson. He is a big Phish Phan and one of the best people I know. We got to sit and talk about the upcoming Phish New Year's Eve shows at MSG. I am lucky to continue with this tradition and Chad & I got to break down past gags and potential future shows.
Phish has been a huge part of my life and I am so grateful to be a small part of the community at large. We really are everywhere.
I hope everyone has peaceful & enjoyable Holiday Season. The Sunken Playground will take a short break until after the New Year.
Chad is a local artist so please check out his sites and contact him for his awesome Phandles.
