One way that I have found to help others with this same dilemma is perspective. We are here to encourage you to take action in life through the testimonies of other people! ENJOY!

We set goals and create standards that we cannot maintain long term. We think it's all of nothing when it comes to things in life. We are here to create a life that we enjoy and can replicate for ourselves, others, and those that come after us. To do that, we need to create a life that can be appealing and that we can sustain long term. That looks like having cheat meals, and vacations, and enjoying that life that is given to us, a healthy relationship with nutrition and fitness. In this conversation Nef Reyes spoke with the Coach John about his story with fitness and how he has grown from fighting in MMA in his younger days to where he is now as a personal trainer and a coach at OrangeTheoryFitness.

In music, one doesn't make the end of the composition the point of the composition. If that were so, the best conductors would be those who played fastest. And it would be composers who wrote only finales. People would go to concerts to hear one crashing cord because that's the end. Say you go dancing, you don't aim at a particular spoke in the room, the whole point of dancing is the dance. Now we don't always look at life this way, we look at it for its end, for its outcome. In this conversation, Nef Reyes spoke with Coach Julie about her experience on life in the fitness industry and particularly in the life of a dancer and what it means to her. Going from a small town in Kentucky to a national tour for dance, traveling all around the United States for dance. Going from New York to Florida and even some on the West coast. To now being back in Kentucky, coaching at the ever growing Orangetheory Fitness.

What does it mean to step? The short and straight forward answer would be to go somewhere, to step in a direction of a goal. Whether that be a destination or a goal in any other form. For some, even just the act of stepping is the goal. There is no character development, no struggle, to lessons in jumping straight to the end. We can't sustain a goal long term if we take easy routes; it becomes a little less rewarding. In this episode, Nef Reyes spoke with the Coach Dillon about his goals, his steps, and his advice of how other can take their next step in their journey. Whether that be fitness or nutrition, Coach Dillon has experience and wisdom in these fields that can't and should not be overlooked.

Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened. This verse has so much more to it than one might think. We have to actively reach and work for what we want in life and for the life that we want to build. But another aspect of that verse is listening to the surroundings that God has put in place for you. When it's Gods given, it's the perfect timing, things fall into place, you meet the right people, the right things are said; it just flows. To listen to the people around you and the situations that God has placed you in now, can be difficult but in this conversation, Coach Brian showed us just how he listens and how it shows in his life. From being comfortable, to being where he is now, able to give, reach, and impact in a deeper, more profound way. This interview was amazing and Nef Reyes was able to gain so much from it as a result and we know that others will be encouraged in similar ways.

Drive, hustle, work ethic, these words come from the passion and vision of the life and world that we want to have in the future. But how do we find out what those are? How do we formulate our future that we want to create for ourselves and those around us? Those "things" are a product of who we are and how we live our lives. So many of us watch the brightest moments of the Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok famous people and we want to replicate it. We compare our "behind the scenes", to everyone else's, "highlight reels". Well in this podcast interview Nef Reyes spoke with the Coach Renee about her experience with this in her life and her fitness journey. How she started with a passion in medicine and how it has changed the course of her life in fitness and with her family.

Going through test, after test, after test is challenging to continue doing and it an feel like there is no end. How can we change the way that we view the challenges in our lives. How can we keep pushing, although it feels like we keep getting knocked down time and time again? When we feel like we are gaining ground in our lives and life gives us a reminder that it's not going to be easy, that's when God can step in and assist us in realizing that a dream, a passion, a goal is meant to be tested. These are Gods' way of testing our faith, our discipline, our consistency, and our trustworthiness in God and ourselves. Well in this interview, Neftali Reyes spoke with the Coach Dakeya and she opened up about her trials and tribulations of what she is currently going through in her fitness journey as a wellness coach, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor.

Your body is your pot to mold. You carve, sculpt and create it into the figure that we work for, not what we wish for. So many times do we wish and pray that we get the results that we want by only putting half the work. Sometimes we need to listen to our body and understand what it need. What most people don't understand when it comes to fitness is listening to those cues. Resting when we need to rest, eating to refuel those muscles, and overloading the muscles so we reach the point of growth. In this conversation with the Coach Ashley, Neftali Reyes learned a little more about where Coach Ashley came from, where she is, and where she is going in the fitness world. With Coach Ashleys' experience and knowledge on the topic, learn ways to listen to the body to know what it need, and understand that you're not the only one learning this as well. We are all on this journey and this story is a testimony on how we make the next step in growing in that journey.

We want to to prize, the goal, the success but we aren't ready for the wait, the grind, or the patience that is required for it. Things that come quickly can also leave quickly. Patience and consistency (not perfection) is the route to take. Take steps towards the goals that we set while keeping in mind that we should enjoy the journey getting there as well. Here on this episode, Nef Reyes spoke with Coach Adam Price Fitness about his story and how he went from athletic in high school to gaining 70 pounds of muscle and his mindset as we went on the journey.
