I'm an adventurer/traveler. So I like new places and spaces and exploring them and taking the coolest selfies while at it. I love cars. Yes, fast ones mostly.
I always love looking fresh. So I'm into cool clothes and cool sneakers. Because a cool car must have a cool driver. Right? I think the ladies will agree with me on that one. Now socializing and meeting new people and finding out what makes them tick is also my thing. And if that's not enough, I love dogs because I know you'll agree with me till today they are man's best friend.

I've been a broadcast journalist for almost 25 years, and I love telling other people's stories. I started working at Cape Talk Radio In 1999. Since then, I've worked at ETV Subido Productions and News 24, and I've done everything from news reporting for television and radio, to crime documentaries, covering the corridors of power in Parliament and podcasts on a variety of subjects.
I'm the mother of two teenagers. I have an older sister Melanie, who is a news anchor at ETV. She's the reason I got into the industry in the first place. Back in the day we worked together as journalists at ETV and became known as the 'ghoul sisters' via extensive coverage of crime that appeared in the media.

She is a mentor for Phakama women's academy, an academy advising young women on how to excel in corporate South Africa. More commonly known as 'Fix' is a well-known South African radio presenter; DJ and TV Personality.
Fix, made MTV history when she became the first female VJ on ‘MTV networks Africa’.
The entrepreneurial beauty has graced our screens since 2006 when she won a nationwide competition to become MTV base’s newest presenter. Fix at the time a student at Cape Town University studying Film & Media, was picked from obscurity by MTV base from thousands of applicants and immediately joined the fast track.
Since then the multi-talented entertainer also joined the 5FM team. Fix went onto hosting her very own dance show called 'Saturday Night Fix' between playing the best of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) where she discovered many bedroom DJ's, giving them an opportunity to showcase their DJ skills on her show.

Shane Duke Wellington's career in broadcasting began in 1994, when he presented a lifestyle magazine TV program called, 'Pace Magazine' on Bop TV. From 1994 to 2005, he hosted several entertainment programs including Countdown (SABC 3), Intertainment (ETV), and Ziwamo (SABC 3).
In 2005, he began ring announcing for boxing with SABC Sport, and continued until 2011, when he joined the Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC), which is broadcast LIVE in over 100 countries worldwide. In 2016 he became a TV presenter on Kwese Sports broadcasting American NBA games to the African continent.
Along with his television career, he also hosted several radio shows on community, and national radio stations including Solid Gold FM, Can-I Community Radio, and 5FM.
From 2014 - 2016, Shane presented shows on two radio stations in two different cities each week: Joburg's Hot 91.9FM on Friday night, and Cape Town's Magic 828 on Saturday afternoons.
Shane has been a judge at the South African Music Awards on 4 different occasions. He has hosted numerous corporate promotions, conferences, award shows, and live events, including the 2006 FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, as well as the opening ceremony for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup.
Shane was chosen out of thousands of actors in country-wide auditions to perform as one of the leads in the SA stage production of the Broadway hit musical, 'Dreamgirls'. Shane has worked with Leon Schuster in the highly popular, 'Mr Bones'. Shane acted alongside Peter Wheller (Robocop) and Brian Brown (Cocktails) in 'Styxx'. And he co-starred in the local action movie, XJ-1.
Shane has appeared in several TV dramas including Strike Back, The Lab, Rhythm City, 7 de Laan, and Binnelanders, as well as the Discovery Channel docudrama, 'Surviving Katrina'.
