Loving God, be with those parents who have lost a child to death…be it through illness or evil. Help them through the anguish, strengthen their hope.
Be with all of us , as well, as we experience any anguish or struggle in our lives. Be at our side…give us hope. We ask this through your son, Jesus, Amen.
God ofour Creator, Our Redeemer and our Sanctifier, You are the king of all nations, You who seat in the heavens above everything else, thank you for the our life today and thank you for the world you have placed us in. May you show us our call in the world and course us to follow. That your will, will be fulfilled in our lives. Give us the attitude of gratitude, your heart of love that we may love first the other through your eyes. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
With today’s Gospel we find Jesus abolishing the old law and replacing it with the new idea of non resentment and non retaliation. We will miss the point if we try to take him literally. But he does provide three examples!
Let us look to Jesus, the Teacher and the One who lived out the Beatitudes, and make our Christian life more meaningful!May the Divine Instructional Manual given by Jesus become the pattern for us to lead a Committed Christian Life! Amen
Lord, help me to fight against my selfish desires. Help me to strive for the unity that you want. Amen.
Loving God, help us to respond to the needs we see at this moment. Give us the courage and strength to do what we can to relieve the sufferings of others. We ask this through Christ our lord
“But God said to him, “You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you; and the things you have prepared, to whom will they belong? Thus will it be for the one who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich in what matters to God.” (Luke 12:20)
This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it, except the sign of Jonah.”

Lord thank you that you know the intention of our hearts, incline them to follow you and to love you and others. In Jesus name Amen.
“Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof. but say the word and let my servant be healed”. (Lk 7:6)
“The scribes and the Pharisees watched him closely to see if he would cure on the sabbath so that they might discover a reason to accuse him.” (Luke 6:7)
Thank you Lord for the grace to be made whole in you. In our humanness give us the strength to proclaim your goodness and the courage to live and die in your name. For this we say, Amen.
Lord, thank you for your love of Mary. That love is a reflection of the Love you have for us. Thank you for the promise of a new life with a new body and a new earth when you return. Lord come quickly. Amen.

Jesus please remain as our example that we may live our lives praising you through serving others.
Father, we ask you to help us recognize today that which limits us from truly being open and available to you.
When Jesus finished giving these commands to his Twelve disciples,
he went away from that place to teach and to preach in their towns.
“Our savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life to light through the Gospel!” (Tm 1:10)
“ Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, let me go first and bury my father.” But Jesus answered him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their dead.” (Mt 8:22)
Father, we ask you to help us recognize today that which limits us from truly working for your greater good. We ask you to help us to better ourselves as we try to show you in the best light to others. Let your love shine through us and reach out to all the world. We ask all this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
When someone strikes you on your right cheek, turn the other one to him as well" (Mt 5:39)
Lord, increase my hunger for you. May I desire you above all else and find perfect joy in doing your will. Amen

Lord, we thank you for being the wonderful, loving father that you are. We ask you to walk with us daily, knowing that it is your love that sustains and guides us. We ask you to be with us as we attempt to refocus our lives on you, away from the wealth and riches of this world. Help us to put those things aside and follow you as best we can, and let us use what wealth we have been granted by you in the best stewardship of your kingdom

Oh Gracious and Loving God... Help us not to smother the joy we have in our hearts from the good news, the joy of your resurrection... the joy of knowing Your presence among us, that when we walk, we walk with you to proclaim to the world your saving gospel message
Do not work for food that perishes
but for the food that endures for eternal life,
which the Son of Man will give you." (Jn 6:26)
Lord life is your gift. Help us to enjoy the beauty of this gift by looking at your blessings on us each day and being grateful to it.
Christ our Shepherd, lead us out of our comfortable places today and into the field to join the rest of your flock. Comfort us and encourage us on our way; walk beside us when we are afraid; and protect us and your entire flock from all harm
