Welcome to Episode #53 of Level Up with Raman and Alysha. On today's episode, we will answer the question, Can People Change? Change is inevitable and it's the only constant in the world. But when we hear the phases like "once a cheater, always a cheater" or "once a fuck up, always a fuck up", we question if statements like these are true. We will discuss what we think of statements like these, and how people sometimes can get labeled for a lifetime. Change isn't easy and not everyone can change. We see it in older adults all the time when they are not willing to change their old school mindset to the current norms. Welcome to Episode #48 of Level Up with Raman and Alysha. On today's episode, we will talk about our struggle with the current housing market in Ontario. With both of us currently looking for a home, there have been multiple hurdles - from the extremely high prices to going through bidding wars, buying a house isn't as easy as it used to be. The biggest problem currently in the GTA is affordability, which is leading people to consider moving out of the province. We will share our current experience with house hunting and some challenges we are facing. We will also share our views on when it comes to renting vs buying, and whether we think it's better to move out of the province in order to own a home. Welcome to Episode #46 of Level Up with Raman and Alysha. On today's episode, we will talk about all the topics that do not get talked about enough but exist amongst most women. Disclaimer - we will be talking about sensitive topics. The unspoken is all about women and what women have to go through in their lifetime. We will talk about periods, hormones, pregnancy's, miscarriages, fertility, and more. In the South Asian community, there is a lot of pressure on women and the insensitive question of "when are you having kids" starts from the moment you are married. There are also many questions that women ask other women without understanding that the other person may be going through something and your question is inappropriate. We think it's important that everyone understands the unspoken struggle of a women and we support one another when it comes to educating each other. Welcome to Episode #44 of Level Up with Raman and Alysha. Join us on this motivational Monday as we talk about Hustling in Silence. As the popular saying goes, "work hard in silence and let your success make the noise". We all work hard and are proud of what we do. When starting a new project, business or personal development, we believe it's important that it starts with YOU and the only person holding you accountable should be YOU. We will talk about how sometimes sharing a pre-mature business idea can lead to a failure due to negative feedback, getting too many opinions or demotivation. Not all ideas lead to execution, and it's important to know when is the right time to share. We will also share times we pre-maturely shared business ideas that we didn't execute and why we wish we didn't, and how we do things going forward. Join us and get ready to HUSTLE! Welcome to Episode #41 of Level Up with Raman and Alysha. On today's episode, we'll be discussing a sensitive topic - how Social Media affects our body image. Social media gives us a lot to compare ourselves with, and it can set unrealistic expectations. Unless you do not have social media at all, it's a little hard not to compare yourself to all these Instagram and fitness models. This can lead to mental health issues, insecurities and lack of confidence in yourself. However, we are here to tell you social media is not real! We will discuss all the new trends we are seeing on social media that promote body positivity and show what is the reality behind the photo. We'll also talk about what you can do to promote body positivity if you are feeling like social media is impacting the way you see yourself. In addition, we will also talk about how the fashion industry is moving away from "one size all" to include all shapes and sizes...although there are some store's that could still use some work. Welcome to Episode #40 of Level Up with Raman and Alysha. On today's episode, we'll be talking about Karma and the evil eye. Karma is basically what goes around comes around. We sometimes base our actions and decisions on wanting good karma or avoiding bad karma. Karma is expressed in different ways in different cultures and religions, but it ultimately teaches the same ideology - treat others the way we would want to be treated, and to not harm others. There are those who believe they are responsible for giving people their karma by seeking revenge, and then there are others who let karma handle it. Karma goes hand-in-hand with the evil eye. No matter how good of a person you are and do good to others, there are still people who might not want the best for you. The evil eye protects you from any ill-will that could otherwise have a negative effect on your well-being or your life in general. Wishing everyone good Karma on this beautiful Monday! But then there are some luxury items that are expensive and aren't bought often. When is it better to buy a real high brand name item vs fake? It is OKAY to buy fakes, but we'll talk about people who own it vs lie about it. We will discuss what we think about this and some funny stories of situations we've faced. Welcome to another episode of Level up with Raman and Alysha. Inspired by the show Younger, today's episode will answer the age old question, is age just a number? Women get judged in many ways when it comes to our age - we get judged if we're not married by a certain age, don't have children by a certain age, if we date someone younger or older than us, by our career choices and much more! Society believes we should do certain things by a certain age and "act your age", but who made up these rules? We'll discuss what factors play into what age you actually act such as our family, surroundings, maturity level and commitment to keep up with modern times. In addition, people face a lot of ageism when it comes to looking for a job or hiring a younger or older applicant. We'll discuss some stigma's adults face in the workforce. Some believe you must act your age, and other's believe that you can act any way you want at any age. Which one is true? Listen and find out! NEW EPISODE EVERY MONDAY AND THURSDAY! No matter the reason, it is never easy to walk away from someone, especially if you've known them for many years. Most of us do not enjoy cleaning and we agree with you...it's not the most fun task to do, but it's necessary. When your environment is not cluttered, neither is your head allowing you to live a better and more productive life. Welcome to another episode of Level up with Raman and Alysha! On today's episode, we will talk about Gratitude! For most individuals, gratitude is saying "thank you" to someone upon receipt of something, or saying "thank you" for the big things in our life. However, Gratitude isn't just about the big things; most people do not express gratitude for all the small things in our daily life. Most people also only express Gratitude to others and forget, the most important person to express gratitude to is YOU! Gratitude is about all the little things you have had in the past, have in the present, and want to have in the future. We will review the various methods of expressing gratitude such a journaling, talking to the god or the universe, and expressing gratitude to yourself and others around you. We will discuss what methods we do individually to express gratitude and how it's helped us! Welcome to another episode of Level up with Raman and Alysha! On today's episode, we'll discuss the classic line "Love is Blind", and we're not just talking about the popular Netflix show. Love is great, and love can make everything feel like Magic, BUT in our opinion, love really is blind! Love gets blinded by appearances over personality, by the comfort of having a partner, or simply because you are in a toxic relationship and can't get out. Sometimes we're so "in love", we look past the negative qualities of a person and validate wrong behavior in the name of "love". Well, Raman and Alysha are here to tell you Love is not a good enough reason to stay in a bad relationship. If you saw two people who were clearly wrong for each other, would you speak up and tell them? Well Tune in and hear what we would do! We'll discuss why loving yourself before loving someone else is the true key to happiness, and knowing when to talk away even when you are in love. YOU GOT THIS LADIES! Welcome to another episode of Level Up with Raman and Alysha! This week is Mental Health Week from May 3rd to 9th. In light of this, today's episode is about letting other's opinions affect your behavior. We all do it, we ask other's for all types of opinions, whether it's about an outfit to wear, a business to start, or a big life decision to make. It's great when we get good feedback. BUT when we don't hear what we want to, it can affect how you might take action. This can make us second guess our own decisions, lower self-esteem, or cause loneliness and depression! It's important to remember that it's OKAY to get other's opinions, but it should ultimately not be your decision maker. The moment you let other's opinions affect your behavior and actions you will take, you are now living on other people's terms, not your own! It's time to stop letting other's pour their water into your glass and MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS! It's time to be a GIRL BOSS!

For a while, Rimpy was running away from her problems but she came to a point where Rimpy became very dedicated to her road to recovery. The road to recovery was not an easy one, but it was one that Rimpy accomplished and she is now in a place where she wants to help other's heal. Not only is Rimpy practicing to become a nurse, this has lead Rimpy to start her business called Universe Glow, which is all about healing crystals. Welcome to Episode #15 of Level Up with Raman and Alysha! On today's episode, we will talk about Following Your Gut Feeling! We all have experienced butterflies in our stomach, the sweaty nervous palms, a little voice in the back of our mind that KNOWS what you should do, there's no need to think it over, it is an immediate understanding of something! But we don't always follow our gut feeling, do we? We question our instinct a hundred times and involve others by getting their opinion on things. As a result, we don't end up following our gut feelings. Sometimes that ends up being a good thing, and sometimes it ends up in regret for not following your gut feeling. We will discuss why you should follow your gut feeling and what actions you can take on your gut feelings. We will review how doing so can benefit you in your everyday life. Welcome to Episode # 14 of Level Up with Raman and Alysha! Okay ladies, we've all been there! We've all been asked "Are you PMSING?", and whether you are or not, it's an inappropriate question to ask! On today's episode, we will discuss how Periods are SO Underestimated by most men! The bleeding, the cramps, and gain/loss of appetite, the comfort....it is ALL UNDERESTIMATED! It is nothing like those Tampax ads we see on TV; the pad and tampons don't fix everything else that comes with having a period. We as women experience so many different types of hormones and feelings that are constantly changing with time, there really is no constant when on your period. It is a flood of emotions! So ladies, it's time to educate men and others who blame our "bad moods" on our periods and think it's okay to generalize all women's behavior when we are on our periods. Welcome to Episode #13 of Level Up with Raman and Alysha. On today's episode, we will discuss the Covid Vaccine and whether to get the Covid vaccine or not! There are several different views out there about the Covid Vaccine. We have countries where most of the general public is getting the vaccine, and we have some, like Ontario, where it's mostly the front line worker's that are getting the vaccine. But at what point will you decide whether you should get the vaccine or not? and what factors will play into your decision? Would you get the vaccine if your workplace required you to, or if you needed to take it to go on vacation? or how about if you knew it would prevent your child from getting Covid-19? Is the Covid-19 vaccine also immune to these other new variances? So many questions....such little answers, so let's discuss and see what you think! NEW EPISODE EVERY MONDAY AND THURSDAY!
