He emphasizes the importance of having a grand purpose that includes the external world in order to stay motivated and keep going.Nikk also talks about his struggle with periods of dopamine depletion, where he loses sight of his goals and vision. He shares how he has created a four-day system to help him through these periods, which he calls dopamine drought. The system helps him bring awareness to the fact that the unmotivated version of himself is not the true him, and that he does actually want to continue on his path.Nikk will be launching an article on this exact topic and system on Monday, and he believes that having a laid-out plan to follow during these foggy times can be incredibly helpful. This priming Christian Mediation is the perfect way to set yourself up for whatever your day will bring. In just 15 minutes, this visualization meditation exercise establishes a foundation of gratitude for everything that has guided you to this moment. It opens a feeling of thankfulness for the opportunity to start fresh every day. It has the ability to boost your brain function, feed your soul and ready your mind for the day ahead.With continuous practice, priming will keep you feeling focused, energized, creative and connected throughout your day. It prepares you for the opportunity to start each day with a fresh and renewed perspective.To start your priming exercise, sit in a chair in a quiet place. With your spine straight and your feet flat on the floor, shift your shoulders back, your chest up and hold your neck and head up tall.Once you’re settled, do a breathing exercise of three sets of 30 breaths, pausing between each set. As you breathe, practice gratitude by thinking of three people, experiences or gifts that you are grateful for. Call to mind people or events that fill you up with joy, appreciation and love.As you’re thinking of these things, visualize the light of the Holy Spirit flooding down on you and filling your mind and body. He loves spreading God's word - through music, writing or any other means possible - and using his talents to glorify the kingdom. He's currently on a journey to create Christian music and working on a solo project with close friends. One conversation with HNRY and it won’t take long to realize that this 27 year old has lived a lot of life. From struggling with a speech impediment as a child to trying to find his way as a teen and young adult this young man has seen his fair share of highs and lows. After 2 years of writing and building relationships in Nashville, TN, HNRY signed a distribution deal with Nashville and London based Wings Music Group. In August of that same year HNRY released his first single with WMG called “Fear Be Quiet” featuring Reach Records artist Tedashii. The song took off from the release gaining over 200,000 total streams within the first two months. Now HNRY is hard at work on future singles that are slated to release early 2023, Followed by extensive touring.

Donovan was privileged to compete at the HBCU Battle of the Brains at SxSW in Austin, Texas. Where he had the chance to meet and greet with Forbes lister, financial guru and black tech influencer, Angel Rich, who was there supporting Hampton University, her alma mater. The two spoke regarding the importance of black tech in today’s world and that they wanted to see support from their community in hopes to receive more notoriety for their tech ventures. This meeting would ultimately be a foreshadowing of the next meeting between Donovan Bridgeforth and Angel Rich on an even bigger stage. The next time Donovan and Angel crossed paths was in TriBeCa, New York City, in the lobby of the Breakfast Club. Angel was being interviewed by Charlemagne The God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee about Financial Literacy, Black Tech and the history of the Black Dollar and Donovan and his team were brought to New York City amongst the viral moments of the Internet movement that trended the #GetToDiddy hashtag that was inspired by The Black App Team. For those who are unaware, P. Diddy and Jay-Z were inspired to create an app that helps connect the public with black-owned businesses, which is exactly what The Black App does. In light of this news The Black App Team took a leap of faith to New York City in search of P. Diddy and Jay-Z to collaborate with them on this project. The conclusion of the #GetToDiddy movement was completed by Angel Rich who shouted out The Black App and Donovan Bridgeforth on Breakfast Club. She went on to defend its right to exist and stated that Diddy and his team should invest into existing black tech instead of attempting to reinvent the wheel. Currently, The Black App Team is continuing to take their mission coast to coast and partner with influencers in the community that want to help them on their mission to #ElevateBlackBusinesses and #RedefineOurCommunity

I’m sure you might be in the struggle bus portion of your success story right now so I want to share a little bit today about how to deal with burnout specific creative burn out Have you been there are maybe you are there now You’re exhausted you feel like you are on the edge of a full blown meltdown You want to lean into the voice telling you just quit just give up throw in the towel. Well I want you to give yourself permission to slow down chances are if you feel this way then stop now don’t misquote I’m not saying to give up I’m saying to pause. Rest. Reflect. Take time for you and your mental health You need it and you’ll be better at your craft and work when you come back to it. If you are procrastinator then this message isn’t for you I’m talking to the high achievers the overworked workaholics. Now is the time to take a deep breathe for a bit and come back to the work when your mind is in a better space. Then the next step after I’ve taken the time to rest will be to focus on your life outside of your work. If you are stressed about the things you are doing then try this Start your day with gratitude by writing down three things you are grateful for every morning May the end of your life you won’t regret the art or the business you didn’t make You will regret the time you didn’t spend with those you love most Life is precious and good art and your best work will come from your experiences and your real life Find your rhythm Find what works best for you when it comes to your time and where you place it Did you know that downtime is important to your creativity? According to a team of researchers from the USC found that letting our minds have space to explore is an essential mental state that helps us develop our identity, process social interactions and influences our moral compass Don’t believe the lie that productivity doesn’t tallow for taking a break Now improving productivity and working to improve our performance is bad we just have a wrong way of measuring it. The way to deal with burn out ultimately lead to asking yourself these questions: Does being busy make you feel valuable? Who is your example of success? Where did you learn your idea of work ethic from? How much of who you are is connected to what you do?
And in closing the answers to these questions will guide you to better self awareness because there is no one size fits all methods to success and creativity.

What is your why?
If you are thinking about stepping out into the unknown and turning your passion into a full time career, this is an important question to ask yourself. Why do you want to do this? Is it because you feel called to a purpose? Is it because you feel burnt out and overwhelmed in your day job? If it is the latter, it's important to understand the reasons you are feeling overwhelmed. We are a culture that values success above most, if not all, things. Success can be wonderful, when it comes from a place of authenticity, purpose, and alignment.
As entrepreneurs, we want to build our businesses authentically and with purpose. We want to work hard, but avoid burnout. We want to feel aligned with what we’re building. We don’t want to use our business as a distraction for life, we want to use it to create lives we love.

Have you ever not started something because you were afraid it might not work out, you’re afraid you won’t know how to do it, or you weren’t sure where to start? You felt overwhelmed and unsure, because you might fail?
Fear of failure might hold you back from writing a new song because you fear it might flop. Or it might hold you back from starting a YouTube channel or posting on TiKTok. Fear of failure might hold you back from doing what ever awesome thing it is you do. Fear is a pretty common emotion, but fear of failure is when we allow fear to stop us from doing things that would help us to achieve our goals. We might even sabotage our own efforts because we are so afraid of what other people might think of us if we fail!
There is plenty of literature on this topic but very rarely does it take what God says about it. Well today let’s address fear of failure and how overcome it! God has designed you for unique purposes that are important to His kingdom and for what He wants for the people around you! If your human fears are keeping you from doing kingdom tasks, it is time to take a look at how to move beyond the fear.
I want to share Three ways to overcome this fear of failure!
- Seek God’s Guidance
The first step in moving forward God’s way is to seek God’s guidance.
It is OK to make sure you heard His voice correctly! You might want to read through the account in Judges 6.
Judges 6:22-24 Reads
22 Then Gideon perceived that he was the angel of the LORD. And Gideon said, “Alas, O Lord God! For now I have seen the angel of the LORD face to face.” 23 But the LORD said to him, “Peace be to you. Do not fear; you shall not die.” 24 Then Gideon built an altar there to the LORD and called it, The LORD Is Peace. To this day it still stands at Ophrah, which belongs to the Abiezrites.
The next strategy to overcome your fear of failure is
- Move Forward with Trust
Now that you know God is asking you to do this thing, it is time to step out in faith. This is the hardest part! Remember, you have grounded yourself in the fact that God wants you to do this task you’ve felt nudged about. You now know that what God has asked you to do is ordained by Him.
So . . . it is not because of your efforts that this goal will be accomplished! It is because of what God will do in you and through you. But it’s on Him. Got it?
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV).
Then the third and finally strategy for overcoming a fear of failure is
- Ask yourself What If You Fail?
No seriously think about the worst case scenario of if you fail at this that you want to do.
So you invest your time resources and effort into starting a business and it completely tanks Well the good news is that failure is a lesson to be learned and you can try again His mercies are new every morning And God shall supply for ALL of your needs

What if the thing stopping you from success is your fear of reaching? Often times we can self sabotage our success when we feel like we are unworthy of it today I want to share 3 causes for fear of success and what to do about it!
2 Timothy 3:17 "That the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work."
Deuteronomy 8:18 "You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day."
Genesis 39:2-3 "The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master. His master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord caused all that he did to succeed in his hands."
3 causes for fear of success and what to do about it!
- Childhood experience
- Introversion
- Mental Health
First, we must identify the root cause of the fear like one of the ones I stated earlier. Then we must heal from that past trauma because a bandaid won’t fix what is hurting internally. Finally, you must replace the fear with faith in the future and trust in God to see you through. Success don’t means the absences of trouble but it means the presence of strength you will only be as successful as your capacity to sustain it.

So here are 10things I learned from taking a year off work:
- rest is sacred and should be valued as such
- Isolation will only lead to anxiety and depression.
- Your childhood traumas are probably the root cause of your poor mental health.
- You can’t rely on others walk with God to supply your own.
- Your Relations are critical for your growth.
- Go outside and go for a walk or a run it’s essential for well-being.
- Exercise and nutrition matter more than you think.
- Don’t neglect your loved ones just because you see them more often.

When we got married me and my wife wrote our own vows one of the lines I wrote to her in mine was “from the beginning you’ve saw the best in me even when I couldn’t see it. You always believe in me when I don’t even believe in me.” What I love about a godly marriage is its a physical illustration of God’s love for us. God see the best in you God believe the best in you We are all designed to see the best in others and in our selves. We are all designed to see a future brighter than the present we’re in. We are all created to be creative period. But as we grow up we’re taught to stop singing, stop dancing, stop having fun. We’re forced to fit our abstract fluid selves into a square cubicle. We’re told to eliminate imagination and all feelings. WRONG! YOU ARE A CREATIVE GENIUS. You were made from love to love.
We as humans create the future good or bad.

📌Believe in What God Says About You

- I take the mind of Christ
