"On the Go with NPOs" is a a podcast by students enrolled in Michigan State University’s Arts, Cultural Management, and Museum Studies marketing and PR course. In each episode students explore stories from industry professionals across arts and culture sectors to promote the mission and values of an organization of their choosing. This series is part of a class assignment, created by students as part of a learning experience requirement.
In this episode, business school senior and Science Camp Educator Alice Sheppard explore STEAM education through science museums at the Cranbrook Institute of Science. The Institute of Science hosts yearly summer science camps for elementary aged students, as discussed with guest and museum employee Kalel Blandford.
