|| An outdoor junkie, mountain gal, home baker, bookworm, wild animal, personal trainer, and aspiring volunteer firefighter are some of the words that can be used to describe Rachel⦠but ultimately, she is just another beloved child of God. She is somebody who loves to spend hours out in the wilderness, even if it means popping a squat anywhere in the forest during turbulent times. If you canāt find her in your local forest, you can probably hear her giggling or yelling āyou got it, you can do anything for 10 seconds!ā in the gym, or being stuck in a ditch (mostly literally but also figuratively), relying on God to get her outta the sticky situation sheād foolishly just put herself in.

Elis and Linda share about working towards fully surrendering their plans to the Lord and how they were able to hold onto the truth of scripture during a time of uncertainty and fear. When sheās not busy with school and lab work, you can find her jogging around campus, trying weird recipes and spending quality time with family, friends and Netflix. Sheās a total nerd when it comes to Speech-Language Pathology and the Bible. Sheās super excited to be on this podcast with her dearest friends!!

He enjoys digging for gems at vintage and thrift stores, and is unreasonably into hip-hop music. He would eat sushi for every meal if his wallet and digestive system would allow it.

Vocationally, she has been a technology consultant since graduating from university with a Business degree.
In this episode, Shirley joins Melissa on the podcast to share about her journey as a physical education teacher and how while she was growing up, many social situations would make her anxious and nervous - but somehow; the Lord still called her to be in a role where she would be able to interact with many students and individuals on a daily basis. Shirley shares about physical barriers (her throat) in her first years of teaching and how teaching in the midst of a pandemic is a result of so much of God's goodness and Grace. Shirley brings to light that we truly need to know our creator, the one who created us if we want to know who we truly are. Through her injury and other hurdles in her career, Shirley holds firm to the truth that none of that affects her relationship with the Lord. Shirley is a full-time teacher and full-time auntie. She truly believes that worship is a lifestyle and loves to creatively worship during her spare time. She adores standing in awe of God's creation in the outdoors and states that the west coast, is truly the best coast. She has a heart for youth ministry, teaching and enjoys being in the presence of her family and friends.Ā
In this episode, Kevin shares what it's like graduating in the middle of a pandemic. He shares about the uncertainty, anxiety, and living in a pandemic as a post-undergraduate. Kevin shares about the feelings he has as he walked out of his last lecture on undergrad, the fruits that came out of 2020 and where his next steps are with regards to finding a job during corona-szn and living out his life to the fullest - all for the glory of God. Sadie's friends describe her with many endearing names: from a shady baby and see-lai to scandalous and having a six-pack (don't worry, Sadie doesn't think the latter ones are true). Regardless, Sadie enjoys her job as a nurse helping to deliver babies, even though she is a baby herself. In her spare time, Sadie loves being in the great outdoors, spending quality time with friends, and eating all types of Asian noodles.
