This is a bilingual podcast created by Tony Hernandez Pumarejo. Tony is a person that was diagnosed with Autism at age 3. Throughout his life, Tony has gone through different struggles such as being nonverbal until age 4, struggled with social communication, making friends, social rejection, severe anxiety, depression, bullying and other life challenges. Despite these situations, he has worked hard to be able to overcome those challenges and being able to accomplish key goals of life such as graduating from college, employed, speaker and writer of his book called An Autism Unscripted Life. Today, Tony advocates for people and families impacted by Autism, disabilities, mental health and life challenges around the world. He also works as a television collaborator. Este es un podcast creado por Tony Hernandez Pumarejo. Tony es una persona que fue diagnosticado con Autismo a los 3 años. A lo largo de su vida, Tony ha atravesado por diferentes retos como no hablar hasta los 4 años, luchó con la comunicación social, hacer amigos, rechazo social, ansiedad severa, depresión, acoso escolar y otros desafíos de la vida. A pesar de estas situaciones, el ha trabajado duro para poder superar esos desafíos y poder lograr objetivos clave de la vida, como graduarse de la universidad, ser empleado, orador y escritor de su libro llamado Una Vida Autista Sin Libreto. Hoy, Tony aboga por las personas y familias afectadas por el autismo, las discapacidades, la salud mental y los desafíos de la vida en todo el mundo. También, Tony es colaborador de televisión.

Lucia Barbeyto es mama de hijo autista y nos estará contando un poco de su historia. También estaremos hablando las diferentes medidas e iniciativas que están siendo consideradas por la legislatura estatal en el estado de la Florida en favor de la población autista y neurodivergente.

Ron Sandison works full time in the medical field and is a professor of theology at Destiny School of Ministry. He is an advisory board member of the Art of Autism and the Els Center of Excellence. Sandison has a Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University and is the author of A Parent’s Guide to Autism: Practical Advice. Biblical Wisdom published by Charisma House and Views from the Spectrum. He has memorized over 15,000 Scriptures including 22 complete books of the New Testament. Sandison speaks at over 70 events a year including 20 plus education conferences. Ron and his wife, Kristen, reside in Rochester Hills, MI, with daughter, Makayla.
We talk with Ron about his life story, Autism, employment, faith and much more!

Dr. Kerry Magro, Ed.D. is an award-winning autistic professional speaker, best-selling author and autism consultant to the HBO series Mrs. Fletcher and the latest season of Netflix’s Emmy-Award Winning Series ‘Love on the Spectrum U.S.’ He started professional speaking 12 years ago via the National Speakers Association after he fell in love with theater as a child to help with his social and communication skills. Today he has spoken at over 1200 events during that time include 2 TEDxTalks and a 'Talks at Google' presentation. In addition, Kerry is CEO & President of KFM Making A Difference, a nonprofit organization that hosts inclusion events and has provided 100 scholarships for students with autism for college and counting since 2011. Also, Kerry has been NBC’s Today Show, CBS News, FOX5, Upworthy along with additional outlets. Kerry’s best-selling books Defining Autism From The Heart, and Autism and Falling in Love, I Will Light It Up Blue and his latest, Autistics on Autism have reached Amazon Best-Seller Lists for Special Needs Parenting.
