Marketing isn’t a switch you flip. It’s not something you turn on and then sales start taking off. It’s a long game.

Yeah, because starting a business is the path to permanent vacation, right? 🙄
A guy on Twitter gave his wedding planner life-changing advice. Oy vey. One of the tips was to "stop yapping." He says he changed her business, but he doesn't even know if she's using the marketing messages he gave her.
This week's Stupid Marketing Tweet says: "I paid someone $100 to write a blog post. 3 months later it now gets ~50 clicks on Google per day. Every day. Probably for many more months, maybe years. This is the power of content marketing 🥳"

Both are (obviously) unrealistic and preying upon people's hopes of getting rich from their couch.
