Investors always dream about creating the next big thing, the next Facebook, Amazon, or Google. But they are just fixing problems that already have proven solutions. In other words, they are #reinventing the wheel. While they might have grand ideas with even greater #potential, they often go in a totally wrong direction. That is a direct consequence of following their solitary #vision for the product, instead of listening to the needs of the final users.
Today our guest is Pavle Krivokuća, Senior Business Developer, Managing Partner & CRO at Impact Hub Belgrade. He is the perfect candidate to talk about which #innovations entrepreneurs should focus on. He found himself working with startups since 2014. Pavle has overseen the rise and fall of over 400 different #startups.

Neuroscience, with its big data and big brain energy, is an intriguing topic in itself. It is such a vast branch of science that has provided us with a huge pool of in-depth #information about how the human brain functions. Whether you’d like to approach this immense subject from the viewpoint of #innovation or a more scientific standpoint of hard data, it’s still a massive study that invites a passionate #ChairTalks #dialogue.
Decades of researching, exploring the deepest and highest regions of our planet, even visiting outer space and landing on the Moon, and we still can’t figure out what’s going on inside our brain. To help us understand how it functions people have developed neuroscience. Nowadays, more and more people are trying to use neuroscience: big data, big brain #information to see how it can help us structure a more relevant society. These questions are just the tip of the iceberg, though, and we have the perfect guest here today to try and answer some of them.
Dr. Nikolaos Dimitriadis (MBA, Ph.D.) has been applying neuroscience in business and education for over fifteen years. He is an award-winning communications professional, educator, and consultant. Nikolaos is a strong advocate of neuro-based solutions to business and social challenges, here with us today to give us all his insides of a new revolutionary approach to the business itself.

Should corporations always look for startups when they want to innovate? How to make the decision, from a corporation perspective? And if the decision should be to collaborate with startups, how to decide on a model? Today at #ChairTalks, we are asking this question because there are so many pitfalls that can open up at the early stages of such a collaboration. Pitfalls that can hurt startups more than their larger counterparts, but can, of course damage corporations just as well.
We are seeing this trend is gaining traction so we invited Tanja Kuzman, Senior Manager for Startups and Corporate Innovation at PwC Serbia, to talk more in depth about corporate-startup collaboration. By talking to Tanja, we are gaining insightful perspective into the corporate side of the equation.
Tanja has been overseeing eight countries of the Southeast Europe at her role in PwC. Additionally, she is part of the global PwC team that deals with these topics. Before joining PwC she was an Investment Principal at a VC fund in the UK where she finished her PhD studies.

Laws of physics are unchangeable, but Space laws are not! Today we are going to have ChairTalk about ultimate innovations - ones in Space and their implications to the international or better say Space law.
On this subject, we talked with Anja Nakarada Pecujlic, Founder and CEO of Serbian Case for Space Foundation.
Anja, as long as she can remember, was fascinated with stars and planets and dreamed about the idea that one day she could become an astronaut and travel "up there". However, her life routed her to become a lawyer.
By a very coincidental chain of events, in her third year of law studies, she took an elective course "Space Law" just because of some extra points and was absolutely blown away by how interesting it was.
Now, 6 years later – she is finishing her PhD in space law, and she is even more appreciative of space technology as it is not only for exploring the unknown but it can also help solve numerous problems on Earth.

Our today's Chair talk will give us insight how the marketing department can be an innovation generator for a company that has 14 sub-companies in its system and has an extremely diversified portfolio that has grown in 25 years long history.
I had a pleasure to discuss this with Aleksandar Gligorijevic, CMO of Telegroup.
Aleksandar worked in IBM, then for the competition, and after that, he returned to lead marketing in his family business.
He plays several musical instruments in more than a few bends, he is trained in martial arts, and from a few months now is a proud father.

The top marketplaces that we hear often are Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. Those are the top three in the U.S. eBay and Amazon alone account for 49% of all U.S. online retail, which is really crazy to think about considering how many U.S. retailers there are out there.
Other part of the story are much smaller online markets but that serve some specific niche. That is our story of today..
We talked on this subject with Vukan Simic, Founder and CEO of Fishingbooker.
Vukan is passionate about startups, online marketing, software development, fishing and diving. Because of that it is so much clearer how Fishingbooker was created in the first place.

The theory of disruption was spelled out in the 1997 book, The Innovator’s Dilemma by Clay Christensen, a professor at Harvard Business School. From that point, whenever people are planning a new product, digital or any other, they are concentrated almost always on disruption that should bring, but with that, usually essential stuff can be overlooked.
On this topic we talked with Milos Zikic - CEO of Spice factory.
Milos is an experienced software engineer that successfully created and delivered many products and apps that are being used in various industries (telecoms, health, carrier, financial and end-user). He is now focused on creating innovative ways to use technology.

As startups are increasingly outperforming their corporate counterparts, it is essential for established companies to embrace innovations. A considerable amount of enterprises are proactively thinking about innovation through internal R&D, corporate innovation teams, in-house innovation labs, and external accelerator programs.
That will be our subject for today, corporate innovations, and we discuss this with Kosta Andric executive director of ICT Hub.
Kosta is bringing together the startup and innovation community in Western Balkans, for a while now. He is there for companies trying to embrace startup methodology, mindset and culture in the way that works for them. Recognizing and connecting the right people, knowledge, ideas and resources in the right way and in just the right time for all of them – that’s what he does, and where he excels.
