Ahh, the good ol' breakup song. As always, I tried to keep a central symbol/image at the heart of the song to help make the storytelling a little more compelling. Boy, let me tell you, this is my latest song - got more of a Jack Johnson style to it and truthfully has my first "guitar solo" if you can call it that lol. In the future, I'll look into getting someone who actually knows how to tweak the audio to get my voice to shine through a little bit more. Visit our website: www.whyitmeters.com to see a printout of the lyrics. As always, let's get busy writing.

Long time no hear WhyItMeter's community. After a long period of writer's block (and, frankly, caring a little too much about perfecting lyrics and songs I have been working on) I present to you Two Left Shoes - my latest poetic/song creation. Though it is in its early stages, I wanted to share something with the community to demonstrate that a song, like a poem, like anything in life really, is a work in progress and even the final product is a little rough around the edges. But it's that imperfection that makes it worth listening to after all. Stay tuned for future versions and, as always, let's get writing!!
