The focus of this podcast series is the various causes of homelessness, and by talking with other non-profit organizations that are on the ground making a difference, our goal is to educate ourselves and our supporters on the various paths to and from homelessness. By understanding the solutions, we will have a better grasp of the challenges our neighbors at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness face.

Episode Six focuses on Lack of Healthcare. Join us as we sit down with Keegan Warren-Clem with People's Community Clinic and Mike Stefanowicz with CommUnityCare. Over 11,000 patients call People’s Community Clinic their medical home. The clinic is a unique and tested model for medical care, a true safety net for Central Texas’ uninsured and medically underserved. CommUnityCare strives to achieve health equity for all by: (1) being the health care home of choice; (2) being a teaching center of excellence; and, (3) providing the right care, at the right time, at the right place.

Zonda exists to inform, advise and connect the next generation of housing industry experts, leveraging the information, insights, and people that move the industry forward.

Episode Four focuses on Aging Out of Foster Care. Join us as we sit down with Susan McDowell with LifeWorks Austin and Mary Fisher with Texas Baptist Children's Home. Every year, LifeWorks provides a pathway to self-sufficiency for more than 4,000 youth and families, many of whom are facing life’s most difficult challenges, including homelessness, trauma and abuse. Texas Baptist Children's Home (TBCH) in Round Rock provides a haven of hope for children and families in crisis through its residential program, as well as community-based outreach and prevention programs.

CASA of Travis County exists to promote and protect the best interest of children who have been abused or neglected, by training volunteers to advocate for them in courts, in schools, and in our community to help them find safe, permanent, and loving homes. Magdalene House Austin is a survivor-led community for adult women who have survived sex trafficking that provides safe and supportive housing, access to healthcare services and counseling, and vocational training.
