Raw Conversations is an off the cuff podcast talking about what it’s like to be human behind the masks, facades and filters we often wear or hide behind in life. We dive below who we think we “should” be, and into who we truly are as our Authentic Self. Embracing our entire humanity and learning along the way that it’s ok to be who we are. Nothing to fix. Nothing to get rid of. Just our humanity looking to be held, loved and accepted for what and who it is. Life is just a series of experiences. Can we hold it without judgment and embrace it instead, with love. For love, is the true alchemist.
There is a group of people that find themselves single right now, and they're facing the challenge of finding healthy, conscious, evolved forms of romantic relationship.
This challenge reaches beyond age, gender or culture. It resides, instead, within the realm of consciousness as our own self-awareness and consciousness expands.
In this episode I talk about this particular group, why it's hard to find and be in romantic relationship at the moment, the greater reason for this, and how we can support one another as a collective. The biggest reminder for now: Know that you are not alone. We're in this evolution, together.

It's not so easy to be in this earthly realm right now. There are a lot things that we could hate about it. But life and reality is all about perception.
What happens when we see through the loving eyes of our soul? How does it change our perspective, our state of being, our reality and therefore our lives?
This is one of the themes I dive into into today's episode.
And if nothing else...remember that you are loved, you are held and you are not alone.

I'm recording this episode on the autumn equinox in the northern hemisphere. It's a time of energetic transition, as the current of energy shifts from going up the front of our body to going down, inviting us to turn more inwards into a space of being, contemplation and the tilling of the soil of our inner being.
It's a good segue into this week's topic about the future human, what we're evolving into and what that process looks like and requires from us.
As we remember our true selves, why we're here, what this is all about, we remember too the cosmic joke and the "trickster" that weaves itself through this school of hard knocks. Remembering humour as we become more evolved (which really just means returning to our original template) helps us get through the demolition of the old.
There's a great invitation in this transition, should we choose to take it.

August was about boundaries and self-worth, September is about the letting go of all the old patterns, habits, beliefs, behaviours and selves that we no longer need to hold onto as we shift out of a very long and old cycle and await the new cycle to begin.
We're in the final months of the snake, shedding it's skin, closing off the Kali Yuga cycle, stepping through the corridor of transition that will lead us into a new phase and cycle.
The in-between can be uncomfortable. Emotions are coming up as we're being invited to settle more into our humanity, our heart and into the frequency of love.
In this episode I talk about the energies we're currently moving through, the invitations within them and how to navigate the day to day to bring meaning into the mundane and evolve on even the most microscopic levels, that have a huge and beautiful effect on the macro.

We're all undergoing an inner and outer renovation at the moment, and part of that journey is a re-remembering, a re-balancing, re-aligning, re-ascending. It's all a 're' of something because what's happening is we're returning home to what we already know and who we've always truly been. But there's a pathway to get there, you could say.
In this episode, I talk about our original template, what took us away from our true form and how to re-ascend back from the "low self" to the "High Self" and the role of our emotions along the way.

There's so much going on in this world, both within and without, that it can be challenging to know how to navigate our humanity through it all.
In this episode, I offer guidance on how to be with our humanity day in and day out, how to recalibrate, realign and rebalance our mind and our heart, our thoughts and our emotions, our physical body and our energetic body and finally, how to listen, trust and follow our intuition.
We are recalibrating both the entire structure of our external world and our very being. It can feel deeply uncomfortable, overwhelming, destabilising and confusing, to say the least. But there's a gateway should we choose to walk through it, into a place of greater peace, collaboration and harmony.

We can often find ourselves in phases of our lives that feel confusing. We can’t quite make sense of what is happening to us and why. We’re seeking clarity but not finding it. Then all of a sudden, at a later point down the road, clarity drops in and it all makes sense because hind sight is 20/20 vision and phases of our lives only make sense when we’re at the end of that particular cycle.
“Life is lived forwards but understood backwards.”
In this episode I share an update on my personal journey that I’ve been on this past year and a half. The wisdom I have garnered. The steps of a process that we can often feel lost and confused within, but when we trust, have faith, find stillness and listen, all the steps reveal themselves. The clarity drops in. And we find ourselves exactly where we’re meant to be.

A lot of people are scared of an AI takeover, but in that fear lies a forgetting of our own innate power: our ancient technology and human design.
In this episode, I tune into the field and the images that reveal themselves, showing us the way forwards should we choose to take the path of the human vs the robot.
There's a very simple teaching which lies in a matter of perspective.

Truth and Authenticity are the new frequencies we're beginning to ascend into and embody. They are becoming the base from which we measure, perceive and tolerate the outer world. Anything that falls from Truth and Authenticity won't be tolerated.
In this episode, I talk about how these energies affect us both personally and collectively, how they strengthen our boundaries, and how they bring us closer into the Truth of who we truly are. In the process, we're shedding our small selves, the illusions and paradigms that caged us in, and returning to the real reality we've long since been missing.

This human experience isn't always easy. Things come up in our lives; situations, circumstances that trigger feelings, emotions, stories and beliefs about who we are and how life is for us.
Often we're in resistance to the discomfort. The feelings can be too intense, the thoughts too loud, easily spiralling us down into low self-beliefs and what we believe is possible ( or not possible) in our lives. We fall prey to being the victim, to feeling defeated and wanting to give up because it's not happening for us and this is 'as good as it gets.'
In this episode I talk about three markers in our process that can help us alleviate suffering and support our evolution, instead.

We live in a society based on the paradigm of scarcity and not enough. Within that context, there's always more work to do to improve, make better and make perfect. That perception sneaks into our wellbeing, making self-improvement a task, a job, work that needs to be done.
But what would it be like if we reframed everything? What if you didn't need to improve or heal because you're not broken and therefore nothing needs to be fixed?
What if there was just one simple thing you needed that would, in time, naturally resolve everything?
Perception creates our reality, so let's look at how we perceive healing and "self improvement."

All beings have a fundamental need to feel seen, heard and understood. But if we're coming from a place of not believing in ourselves, and looking for validation outside of ourselves, we might care a little too much about what others think about us.
In this episode, I go into why people project, how to not take things personal, how to cultivate such a solid relationship with ourselves that we can allow people to get it wrong about us. If we learn to remove the judgment from our own internal experience, we don't need to take on the judgment of others.
In a highly opinionated world, letting go of judgment, liberates us. It might be a journey to get there, but once we land in a place of full self-acceptance, we are free to be our most authentic Selves!

Stop and take a deep breath. Come back into your body. Ground yourself and find the still point at the center of your being.
Times are chaotic, hectic and frenetic. Today I'm here to gently guide you back into your center, to help you find that still point, to remind you of what really matters and how to redefine how we measure success in a world that doesn't need us to do more...it needs us to be. It doesn't need us to be hard, it needs us to be in a state of love. We will change the world through our embodiment. The way forward is in. So come in with me and find a breath of peace.

The old paradigm had us taking scraps, taking what we can get even if it meant compromising ourselves, stepping over our own boundaries, ignoring our intuition and needs and showing up from a place of unworthiness.
When we move from taking what we can get, to receiving what we deserve, our entire life changes. Most especially, our relationships.
But there's a process to this, dare I say it. Not an analytical process but a process of being willing to let go of old identities, patterns and behaviours that maybe at one point helped us cope, but are keeping us in a continual state of survival and fear vs truly living, thriving and feeling free within ourselves.
Let's look at what taking scraps means, and what it feels like to receive what we are innately deserving of, instead. What is our birthright, not just in human form but in soul form.

In this episode I talk about the greatest illusion we live under, how to shatter it and how laughter is one of the wonderful ways to draw us back into our essence.
I talk about worth and beliefs and how kindness will change both our inner and outer world. But really what all this is, is a reminder of who you truly are.
In order to kick bad habits, to get out of our loops and knee-triggered behaviours, we have to remind ourselves again and again of a new and different way. I'm your reminder to help you, as best as I can, to stay on track. And all 'staying on track' means, is being your true self.
It's the year of shedding, of letting go of old paradigms, belief systems and shattering illusions.

We can simplify our lives by what we do, but to really simplify out lives we need to first change our state of being.
As the outer world becomes more hectic and over-complicated, the invitation is to go inwards and simply. Nowhere to go but here. Nothing to do but be.
I speak to three things that help us simplify our lives and our state of being, that bring our nervous system back into balance and slow down the speeding train we as a collective seem to be on.

We're pressured by our society to produce something big that brings us success, fame, wealth and ultimately, validation. Even in the spiritual realm, we can feel the pressure of our soul's purpose and mission in this life.
But what if our purpose was far simpler than we imagined it to be?
In this episode I talk about purpose, the most important thing that NDErs learn on the other side about our purpose and reason for being here, and how to simplify our lives and move into a very new realm of being as we evolve through and out of these hectic, chaotic times.

I wasn't sure if I should even record an episode this week. I'm on my knees with exhaustion and to be honest, I'm not sure what I can give and offer you in this moment.
But what I came to, is I can offer my human experience. I can offer my humanity. I can offer the things that have given me pockets of peace along this tumultuous ride we're all on.
Like last week, this episode is more of a reminder. A way to view this crazy experience we call life and being human. An analogy and a lens through which we can perhaps make sense of why we're here, what this is really all about, and what is the main, universal truth that we are being beckoned to remember in these times.

The topic of self-worth isn't a new one, but it's something that we often need reminding of; most especially in a society that constantly has us believing that we are not good enough, that our worth is measured by what we do, and that validation comes by some external authority.
In an ever-increasingly chaotic world, if we want to create outer-peace, we have to create inner peace and inner peace can only come about by letting go of judgment and coming into the unconditional acceptance of our FULL self. All parts of us get to be included. All parts get to be loved.
We'll speak about worth and love and forgiveness, about what choosing the path of love looks like, vs choosing the path of "safety," which is an illusion. I'll give you an analogy on that one if you stick around.
All this and more, in today's episode of Raw Conversations, with Corinne Blum. See you there!

I don't know about you but I've found myself experiencing extreme exhaustion, to the point of being unable to do anything other than lie down and be still.
This isn't a bad thing. There's nothing wrong with us. We're not unwell. We're just being asked to be still so that we can be recalibrated from the inside out.
A pause might feel uncomfortable for some, and a welcome change for others. Either way, it's an invitation to be still and go inwards and this is a vital part of our growth and evolution right now (our ascension, if you will) because our very transformation happens by way of going in.
The Universe is wise, it will literally stop us in our tracks so it can do its work. We can fight it or we can be open and curious enough to receive what wants to move through us. If we choose the latter, we'll find that there is an entire cosmos inside of us, that the veil is remarkably thin, and that what lies on the other side is beautiful beyond measure.

We're in the transition between an old dying paradigm, the construct of fear that has enslaved humanity for thousands of years, into a beautiful unknown where we, the people, will create a new earth.
The passageway feels unclear and it's asking us to take a leap into and through a beautiful unknown with absolute faith and trust that instead of getting lost, we are actually finding our way back home.
We're at a choice point, and will continue to be, until we're finally willing to let go of fear, to see it all as the illusion and that fear is in fact false, and simply the absence of love. When we release fear, all there is is love.
Transitions aren't easy nor are they clear but this one, if we can believe in the unseen and the unknown and know without a shadow of a doubt that we are being held and guided along the way, will bring us quite literally, to heaven on earth.

We think that to be spiritual, or to spiritually grow, requires us to go to India and sit in an ashram meditating, praying and chanting for a month. Or that endless courses, retreats, ayahuasca journeys, treatments are what is going to make us more spiritual. Don't get me wrong, all of these are wonderful tools but only when integrated and only when we don't neglect, escape or judge our regular lives as "non spiritual."
The greatest path is the path of your life. It's in the mundaneness of your everyday life, in the choice of how we respond vs react, or even how we later choose to respond to our reaction, that we spiritually grow. Our lives are the grist for the mill. The obstacle is the way. The only way out is through. It is by embracing our humanity that we spiritually evolve. All these show us that we are on the path already and there is nowhere 'out there' that we're going to spiritually evolve more than just here, right now.
I hope this perspective will offer many of you the opportunity to exhale. To stop judging yourself or pressuring yourself for not being spiritual enough. For believing your'e doing something wrong or you're not doing enough spiritual stuff to make you a more evolved version of yourself. Your life is a good enough teacher. There is opportunity in everything.
We can let go of the spiritual facades, the masks and identities we believe make us more enlightened and instead we get to just be us: bear, vulnerable, authentic, human (and divine), us.

In my forties, I can say that I have been many women. I've been the woman that went for her dreams and then lost them due to an injury. I've been the woman that moved countries and continents in search of herself and her purpose. Who spiritually grew through the various relationships she experienced along the way. I've been the mother and the wife. I've been the unhappy and lonely married woman, the tired single mother, the one that has to carry it all. The one that's been a part of society and the one that has been dejected by it. I've been the seeker and the contemplative. The one that has both expanded and contracted. The one that gave too much and now the one that gives no fucks.
In this episode I don't just talk about my own journey, I share how I want to support every woman--and man, to be frank--in being who they truly are. How reclaiming both the divine feminine and masculine within us, reclaiming our inherent roles as women and men, giving the middle finger to society and coming back home to ourselves and one another as a tribe, is the path to freedom, peace and happiness.

I'm not a religious person, spiritual, yes, but not religious in the orthodox sense. But when I hit a wall, another rockbottom and like my nervous system can't take it anymore, I find myself cursing at God, asking Him where He is.
This morning was one of those moments. In today's episode I'm sharing vulnerably about how I lose faith and what happened when I ask God to prove that He exists. One thing I'll say here, is that whenever I ask, I always receive an answer. An answer that reinstates my faith in some kind of grace. An answer that helps me to surrender, redirect and have epic f'n faith in life, my mission and my very soul.
I know we're all going through the bottleneck right now. Know that you are not alone. This shit is hard, but we're making our way through and out of it and we must believe, truly believe, that what we are remembering, is the very reason why we came here in the first place.

How would life look different if we looked at it through the lens of our soul?
When we sit in the seat of our soul, we get to relax because we feel held, connected, less alone. We're being guided. We're safe. That relaxation allows us to exhale and feel more in "control" because we profoundly trust that we are both guided and held.
The grasping for a 'sense' of control, comes out of fear. Comes out of being so far outside of our own home, our connection to who we truly are, our spirit, Source, however you like to name it, that we feel utterly alone in our existence.
This is a time of great remembrance. Of reconnecting to who we are in our essence. Of why we're here. And what the point of these times are.

We’re told that life should have a certain trajectory. That we should get all of our ducks in a row and then we’ll live “happily ever after.” But life never came with a manual, nor is it a one size fits all.
If we never entered life believing that there was a way we should do it, maybe we wouldn’t have the same judgments, expectations and therefore disappointments that we have.
We misinterpret what relationships are about. What soulmates are. And what our life was/is meant to look like.
Sometimes there is grief in not having the vision of what we had hoped for. But life always has something to garner wisdom from. Though there may be growing pains in the process, there is always growth to be had.
In this episode I talk on the themes of soul mates, my marriage and divorce, and how where we find ourselves is most certainly not where we’d expected to be and yet, has anyone’s plan played out to true form? I rather doubt it.
So know that you’re not alone. You haven’t gone wrong. You’re just human, having all sorts of experiences. Some wonderful. Some painful. All human, no less.

Today’s episode is on how I’ve found faith through the kindness of people and their generosity of spirit. How in the toughest of times, faith is what pulls us through. How the grace of God, Universe, Source, Creator of all that is, whatever you want to call it, comes through people. And how building faith in one another again will change the world.
I also touch upon how the absence of a positive masculine influence in our childhood, can profoundly affect our relationship to life, God and feeling supported in life in general.

Things get worse before they get better. It’s the ‘si do’ of the octave, the fever before it breaks, the point you can’t take anymore before the pressure valve gets released.
We are growing more light and clearing out old houses and therefore the shadow comes up in full force. But where this is all leading us is good.
It’s free.
It’s full of love.
It’s home.
We will look back at this time and recognize it as a time of great alchemy, of transmutation and transformation.
It takes incredible stamina and resilience to keep going when sometimes it all feels pointless and hopeless. But we’re in it together even during the moments that feel lonely.
Where our true power lies though, is in our choices. I will ask the question again, will you choose the path of love or path of fear?
Will you carve out a new way to freedom even if it means clearing out all the old closets? Or will you stay on the familiar track that keeps running in circles; more drama, more hatred, more fear, war and division?
The future is up to us.
It will take great courage, incredible stamina and unprecedented resilience, but together we are the makers of the new world.
Let’s see how to move through it together, shall we?

It takes courage to be vulnerable, authentic and human in an ever increasingly artificial world. In a society that has told you not to be human. To not have feelings. To be fine all the time. To do as you’re told, draw within the lines, and all manner of silly things like “boys don’t cry.” We’ve been told a lie that we’ve grown habituated to.
So it can feel scary to go against the grain. To show bits of your humanity when people might not understand it because they don’t understand their own.
But courage comes with practice. With a profoundly intimate relationship with the deepest and darkest parts of yourself.
We must dig deep into the earth to plant a tree and it will only grow as high as its roots go low.

Living from soul is less about doing and more about being. It’s less about speaking and more about listening. And in order to listen, we must first be still and quiet.
In this episode I talk about the journey of firstly, getting to know who we are as a human, our personality, our ego, our triggers and wounds, fears and limiting beliefs, before we can zoom out and get to know who we truly are on a vaster, broader, soul level. It’s a zooming in to zoom out process.
We are shifting our very center of gravity. We are changing the lens with which we see life through. We are evolving, awakening and remembering our true nature and it’s hugely exciting.
I’m here to humbly show the way as best I know how. To help relieve us of our suffering and comfort our homesickness by way of walking you through the door of your own infinite, immortal home. You true, Soul Self.

In this episode we explore the theme of destiny/fate vs free will; or where they both meet. Along with where we find ourselves in our lives and the judgments we often encounter because we measure ourselves to societal expectations.
There’s always an invitation. This one focuses on allowing. On being. On exploring what feels true to you as a creator, co-creator and vessel for that which wants to manifest through you as you.

In this episode I talk about spiritual awakening as both enlightening and traumatic. How the breaking of illusions can both liberate us and make us confront the betrayal of the reality we once believed to be true. How there’s a gift in judgment and how everything holds an opportunity in it. Even the worst things can motivate us into innovation and being the change and the solution we seek outside of ourselves for.
These are big times, my friends. But you are at the wheel and are more able than you think, to steer this ship home.

There is a reason why many find themselves alone and single. Yes, there is pain and loneliness in it, but there’s also an incredible opportunity in being on one’s own and recognising the difference between being alone vs feeling lonely, and the various gifts we receive and cultivate when we take the time to be with—and get to know—ourselves.

We see what we believe and and what we believe influences the way we perceive life, the world, ourselves…
Our perception and perspective paints our reality and how we view that reality does come down to our personal choice. It’s all a matter of perspective but the way we perceive literally builds the world around us.
We are far greater makers and manifestors of the world, than we give ourselves credit for. As paradigms are crumbling, we are the makers of the new world. So how will we choose to see it? What will we create in the wake of the demolition? It is our choice, and within our creativity and ability to create a far more beautiful, loving, embracing world.

New Year offers a point of stillness to reflect on what has past, and set intentions for what is to come. It’s a wonderful opportunity to recognise that we are the makers of the world and the reality we experience within it. And now more than ever, it’s not just about our individual intention and focus but our shared collective intention and vision.
How can we choose love? To show ourselves more loving care? To show others the same? To choose to move from judgment and criticism, feeling unworthy or playing out the victim, to being more loving towards ourselves so that we come from a place of care, collaboration, harmony and unity.
We get to make 2025 what we want it to be. We are actually that powerful…

You are innately a compassionate, kind, loving being. Don’t let anyone tell you that humans are horrible and that you’re the problem with this world. You, we, are the stewards of this planet and through our love, compassion and true authentic nature, we will turn this world right again. It means using discernment. It means choosing love over fear, unity over division and kindness over hatred. Remember who you truly are. Your beautiful, authentic, infinite Self. And you, we, will change the world.
Happy Holidays. Thank you for your presence, your dedication and willingness to grow, expand and evolve. And for being a source of love and authenticity in the world. For those of you that have been through a dark night of the soul, you might very well know that out of every dark time, comes light. The sunrise after the long night.
Science has now confirmed that what depression, struggle and suffering are reaching towards, is in fact an awakening. An evolution in your consciousness.
So with that knowledge, how could you view your struggle as something that is working for you and with you, rather than against you?

I don’t know anyone that’s not going through some kind of struggle whether big or small, right now.
Whether it’s the accumulation of many small struggles or a big one that affects the very thought of our existence, we as a collective are moving through some hard stuff right now, to say the least.
Things get worse before they get better. When we detox, all the toxins come up to the surface and we feel like crap before we feel good. I think we’re collectively purging. Detoxing. Letting go of many old thoughts, patterns and paradigms.
But we have to move through the discomfort, the pain and sometimes the fear. Healing doesn’t always come smoothly. We have to face, embrace and transmute the very things we’re purging first, because there’s no circumventing in the process of healing. It’s in and through and eventually out the other side.
Everything gets amplified so that we choose: do I continue with this story, or begin a new one…
It takes profound trust, patience and the willingness to surrender to something that is greater than us, guiding us, expanding us along the way.
This is all an experience. We’ve been playing an old tired game but in order to graduate and move onto the next phase, we have to work through what we’ll leave behind. Sift through to lighten the load.
It’s a time to reflect. To be curious about what our being is communicating to us through the struggle, the injury, the illness, the divorce, the lost job, the loneliness etc. It’s coming up to look at and let go of.
Remember: no matter the struggle, we’re in it together.

We do this work not to improve ourselves because we’re inherently flawed, we do this work so we can better understand who we are as both a human and a soul. We do it so that we can understand the unique language of who we are so that when times get tough, when we’re tired and overwhelmed, we know how to take care of ourselves.
There’s no such thing as a perfect human. We have emotions for a reason. So, don’t believe that something is wrong with you…you’re simply human and sometimes our human parts need a little support and care.
In this episode, I go into how I can be hard on myself and the existential conversation I often find myself in. Along with what I do when I reach my limit and how to come back to center.

How Empowerment, Authenticity & Frequency Are the Currencies Of The Future
In times of chaos, manipulation and homogenisation, it becomes all the more important to discern where and how we’re placing our focus.
Are we handing over our power to others? Are we caught in reaction?
Do we find ourselves in a constant state of fear and anxiety?
Or, are we trusting our inner authority? Finding ourselves calm and grounded even as chaos ensues around us?
Are we coming from love and acceptance of diversity rather than being polarised by opposing opinions?
At the core of all this lies the question:
Are we walking the path of fear and fragmentation? Or love and unity?
We are all droplets of the same ocean, only we’ve been pulled away from each other and placed in buckets, isolated and alone and disconnected from the source of who we truly are. In that isolation we’ve forgotten our power. We’ve been steered away from our authenticity. Our vision has been narrowed and we’ve lost the vastness of our true nature.
The future will require us to be empowered vs disempowered, authentic vs homogenised, and frequency will be the most powerful currency amidst an evolving and changing world.
We get to be the future we wish to see. We are the makers, the creators and visionaries of that future. We are the answer we’ve been seeking and being authentically you, will create the ripple of change we’ve been waiting for.
In this episode we dive down all sorts of rabbit holes and rein it back into the very essence of who you are. The fractals of existence: as within, so without, as above, so below.

Authenticity is all about being who we truly are and a major part of that is acceptance which leads us to self-love.
But I love the simplicity of what a man called Jim Self said about embodying a 5D state of consciousness: I like me.
We’ve been indoctrinated to believe that we’re not good enough, that we’re inherently flawed and that something is wrong with us. Add to that our wounding and false beliefs that maybe we’re not loveable or significant, or that we’re rejected or abandoned. Whatever the beliefs and wounding may be, we’ve been living in a construct and paradigm of judgment which leads to fragmentation and division.
So how do we embody higher states of being? Higher frequencies of energy and consciousness? And what are the three most powerful frequencies out there?

False Intimacy, The Illusion Of Closeness & Other Pitfalls Of Online Dating & What To Do
I’m finally recording a podcast on the illusions of online dating that set people up for heartbreak because I’ve seen too many of both my clients and friends that have fallen into the trap of false intimacy.
Getting to know someone takes and deserves time and it 100% requires meeting each other in person.
There is a lot of projection, fantasy and the building of false trust, connection and intimacy that can happen when people get stuck in the texting phase of dating apps.
So in this episode I talk about the pitfalls of dating apps and what to do to make them work for you so that you’re taking care of yourself and building genuine connection rather than false projection.

We all have archetypes within us and parts of us that we identify with, but when we over identify with these aspects and make them into “I Am” that….our field of vision narrows and we stop seeing life “objectively” but subjectively, according to the identity and narrative of that archetype.
If we can observe ourselves from the outside, disidentifying with these parts and witnessing them instead, we feel more liberated, less shackled to the suffering of that given archetype and more empowered as our true Authentic Self that lies beyond any of our parts and our personality, itself.

What is sovereignty? To me it’s the true ‘I Am’ of the essence of my being. My soul. My Authentic Self.
After thousands of years of being removed from our sovereignty, as we experience the old, crumbling and the new emerging, sovereignty must find itself at the core of building new paradigms in order for us to evolve.
We’re moving through it both individually and collectively. It’s guiding us to come out of co-dependency (which is why relationships are being so affected at the moment both for singles and couples), out of top down authority, out of competition and into collaboration, interdependence and genuine self and collective empowerment.
We might be riding these waves for years to come so how do we navigate surfing the ebb and flow? And how do we root and center ourselves in sovereignty as we, together, create a new future embodied in authenticity?

We’re moving through the chaos of collective transition and whether you’re experiencing it on an individual level or not, we’re feeling more and more how interconnected we are and therefore will feel the affect of whatever the collective is moving through.
With that said, how do we move through our own personal challenges? How do we feel ok when we don’t feel ok?
So much of this journey back home to our Authentic Self is about presence. It’s about staying with ourselves. No longer abandoning, rejecting or neglecting but sitting with ourselves as we would want our best friend to. Just listening. Just holding space with love. Just being here so that we know that we’re not alone in it all.
I believe one of our greatest missions in life is to fully love and accept ourselves. ALL of ourselves—which means our entire humanity, which means all of our feelings, thoughts and experiences.
As I often speak to, it’s about releasing judgment by way of alchemising it through love. We’re learning that we are powerful alchemists but we cannot transmute what we do not accept and acknowledge as something that exists in this moment. Bypassing is a form of denial. Suppression or distraction are other forms of denial. We cannot change what we deny.
We’re being asked to be brave. We’re being invited to be kind. We’re being brought into such a hyper real present moment and asked to simply stay.
We will always, always move through the hard times. Change is the only constant. But being with the pain and discomfort, redefining even, what these mean to us, and discovering the things that nurture us in the process, all become invaluable tools to being ok with not being ok, if you get what I mean.

I believe every one of us wants to be who we truly are. We want to metaphorically let our belly hang out and be comfortable just being us; knowing that we won’t be judged or rejected or ridiculed.
But most of the time we do our own judging. Most of the time it’s us who doesn’t trust our inner authority and intuition. Who criticises and shames.
Judgment is most certainly the biggest block I’ve seen along the path back home to our Authentic Self. That judgment is hugely influenced by society’s judgment which includes all the shoulds and shouldn’ts of who we ought to be. The rest perhaps cames from childhood and how we perceived ourselves within our family dynamic. And maybe some of it is down to how we’re wired. But no matter, if we want to be free, happy, at peace and at ease with ourselves, we have to really get that it’s ok to be who we are. No, matter, what…
In this episode I look at the face of judgment, the curiosity required to understand the parts of us we’d rather hide away, and how confidence is just being comfortable with who we are.
It’s ok to be you. It truly is.

From Hope To Trust To Faith To Knowing: The Path Back Home To Our Power
I’ve observed this trajectory from hope to trust to faith to knowing, over the past nearly five years as we move through these evolutionary, chaotic and enlightening times. I’ve observed it and felt it within myself, too.
In this episode I talk about the energetic states and embodiment of this trajectory and how when we move through each one, we move closer towards ourselves and into our innate power.
This period in history is a returning home, a homecoming by way of remembering who we truly are and have always been. But part of that is the peeling back and crumbling of the old. We’ve been made to feel powerless and infantile for thousands of years. We’ve forgotten our power and we’ve been given and shown a very bad and misconstrued example of what power is. But we’re in the midst of changing and redefining that.
The more we land back into ourselves, the more rooted we become, the more empowered we feel. It’s a process, a journey and an evolution. But all of it is moving towards ourselves and in. Into the remembering of our true, most authentic Self.

In times of great change, a lot of letting go takes place. It’s a kind of death before the rebirth. The winter before the spring. And though letting go in essence is simple, it’s not always easy.
Letting go takes great courage. It takes the willingness to be able to loosen the grip on our identity, on the reality we once knew, sometimes, our very idea of existence itself.
So, letting go requires gentleness, patience, kindness and a softness. Sometimes even, a sense of humour.
There is no doubt that we are both collectively and individually being asked to let go. So how can we do it with grace? With courage? And with resilience…

It can feel hard to change our behaviour because a lot of the time it’s unconscious and we may feel at the mercy of our reactions.
But behaviour is just habit. The hard part of kicking a habit though is how that part of us is identified with itself. It doesn’t want to change because change means death and it doesn’t want to be killed off so it gets stubborn. So the process is one that requires compassion, patience and gentleness for the parts of us that are attached and habituated to being a certain way.
In this episode I go into the steps of changing our behaviour by making different choices along the way. How to gently bring in the observer and how to create enough space for us to dis-identify with that particular part so we can move towards our own evolution and come into greater coherence with who we truly are (our Authentic Self).

Is it death that we’re afraid of or the pain we imagine associated with death?
What would life look from an expansive view not just as your human self but your soul Self? When you look through the lens of infinite immortal existence rather than the finite nature of human mortality…
Having a micro lens along with the micro can be helpful in times of chaos. To not get caught up in only the day to day but to expand into the larger view of why we’re even here and who we truly are.
In this episode I explore, contemplate and question what life looks like from the view of expansion and how to hold both the micro and the macro, the human and the soul, simultaneously.

We have this false belief that as humans we are innately flawed, broken or at worst, even sinful. If this is our belief, it makes sense that we are out of coherence, balance and harmony with ourselves, one another and life itself. It makes sense that we feel broken and fragmented when we’ve been told certain parts of us are ok and valuable and others are not ok and deemed weak.
Coming into coherence is coming into alignment with all parts of ourselves. Where heart, head, gut are in alignment. Feelings and thoughts are in alignment. And ALL parts have a seat at the table.
This evolution in humanity is about integration. Moving from fragmentation to wholeness—which is our natural state of being. There’s nowhere to go. There’s no-one that you need to become outside and beyond yourself, or to “improve” who you are so that you are finally worthy and good enough.
It’s a free ticket to venture inside yourself. But we need to drop the false belief that we’re broken and that there are parts of us that need getting rid of. Instead, all parts get a voice. All feelings deserve respect. All parts that make up our entirety, deserve a seat at the table and an equal share of the meal.
We don’t need to improve. If anything we just need to strip back the layers of who we were told we should and shouldn’t be, so that we can access and return home to our natural selves. And our natural state is one of harmony, balance and coherence. We don’t need to learn this, we simply need to remember it.
So the invitation is to recognise where do you exclude parts of yourself? If there was nothing wrong with these parts, could you include them with greater compassion? Could you even love them too?

This period of ascension or evolution in consciousness for humanity is about integration.
In order to come home and return to wholeness we must integrate all parts of us and recognise that we are not only a part of all things but that all things are a part of us.
It begins with integrating all parts within us, chiefly beginning with emotions because this is where we most severe ourselves from ourselves.
The process might look like integrating all emotions, then integrating nature as us rather than something other than us, and eventually integrating our cosmic selves with our human selves.
But the journey always begins with a seed. It begins with acceptance and through acceptance we soften enough to hold all things through inclusion and compassion vs judgment.
We must individuate before we can see one another as one and of the One. It might seem ironic that the more we individuate, the more in tune with one another we become, but authenticity holds an incredibly high frequency and when we’re in that resonance that represents our true selves, we cannot NOT feel connected to others and all that is because we not only see but feel that we are all cut from the same fabric.
This is our evolution: inwards and upwards.

We’ve long since been disconnected from ourselves through a fragmentation that occurred when we severed ourselves from the feminine within. We shifted primarily into the left brain and threw ourselves off kilter. If we look to the world, we can see the consequence of living off centre. But we can also look to the way in which people are still suffering, still in judgment, still feeling less whole and unworthy and see that we’re not a society at peace with itself.
If we want to change the world, if we want to find peace, the journey there is, in. As Aslan said in the final book of Narnia, “further in and further up.” If we want to ascend, we must go into ourselves first. We must return home. We must remember who we truly are.
This is a period of integration. Bringing together left and right brain. Masculine and feminine. Connecting head brain with heart brain with gut brain. Then, and only then, will we come back to our true nature. Will we restore balance and therefore restore our innate abilities.
It’s no longer a time to seek outside of ourselves. The answer won’t be out there like they made you believe it would be. It’s inside of you and all you need to do is be still, be quiet, stay and listen.
This is a homecoming. This is a liberation. I’ll keep preaching it because it’s the most important thing we can do in this moment in history, if we want to change the trajectory of humanity and find wholeness, peace and joy once more.
Tough and exciting times, my friends.

We’ve been living in a construct made by, with and through fear. In it, we’ve created all sorts of realities through the mind, unfortunately influenced by the state of fear and lack and therefore a feeling of not being whole or good enough but unworthy, instead. We’ve been homeless and homesick as we’ve been pulled further and further from ourselves.
Now is the homecoming. Now is the coming back to who we truly are not by discovering something new, but by remembering what has always been here. That which we’ve always had access to. That which was never outside of us but always inside of us.
The way out of the chaos is by going in. If we seek for ourselves, or God, or home, outside of ourselves, we get thrown into the outeskirts of the storm along with the flying cow and the missing bathtub all pulled in circles in the outer rim of the tornado. The way out of the chaos is into the eye of the storm. To the still point.
So the invitation is to go in. To sit in presence, in stillness and go into our hearts. Our heart is the portal. It’s the doorway back home to our soul essence and to the source of all that is. It is the pathway back to love.
But sometimes the path back there requires us to walk through all that we deemed scary or shameful. We can’t circumvent our humanity, we must walk through it, with it, recognising that by going in and towards it, we naturally alchemise darkness into light, fear into love, because everything transmutes when it’s accepted, held and included with love.
Once we’ve arrived back home, we find the courage to live from an open heart, letting love back in. Feeling safe. Feeling loved. Feeling held by all that is.

How Are You Feeling? : The Return Of The Divine Feminine & The Art Of Emotional Intelligence
As the divine feminine begins to be integrated back into our being, a lot can come up. One of the biggest things to note is feeling. How are you feeling? People might be experiencing more emotion, more sensation and feeling but if it’s unfamiliar territory, it might be confusing. What do you do with feeling if you haven’t learned the language of your emotional body yet? And how do you learn to embrace something if you’ve been told that it’s flawed, bad and makes you weak?
The first step to integrating the feminine and walking towards emotional intelligence, is awareness. We have to shine the light on the shadow and see what we’ve been hiding. Then we have to allow it and look at it with curiosity NOT with judgment. Then comes the embracing and finally the loving.
We’re learning new language here. We’re learning a new state of being. We’re recalibrating and creating equilibrium. But for some, it will be confusing and uncomfortable. Hopefully for many, it will be expanding and ultimately liberating as we drop into deeper aspects of ourselves and remember our own divinity.

Why are so many women single and what’s going on for men right now…?
This is a big topic I can’t possibly fit into one episode but I talk about the masculine and feminine energies (which are not gender based), what might be going on for both women and men respectively right now, the confusion set by society and our journey back to equilibrium.
It’s a vast subject but at the root if it all, we need to support each other right now more than ever, to move through the fog of confusion that’s being heavily placed upon us. We need to support one another in redefining old beliefs, constructs and paradigms of what being a woman and a man is, of what the healthy masculine and feminine is vs the unhealthy we’ve been living in. We need to support each other’s growth and evolution while passing through this demolition site of old crumbling paradigms.
It’s an intense time of death and rebirth. Of old meeting the new with no example to show us the way. We are carving the path. So carve it with love and even if you’re waking through the dark, if you let heart lead, know that you can only be brought to a beautiful place.
Let’s support each other and reclaim and reinstate harmony and equilibrium. Part of that journey however, will require us to let go of what is not in alignment with who we need to become in order to create the union we want to be a part of.

I didn’t realise until after recording, that this is my 100th episode! So I’m celebrating my own commitment to showing up weekly to have this ongoing raw conversation with you, and I’m in gratitude to all of you that show up with me, to listen and be a part of the conversation. I do not doubt that we are sitting together in this conversation on an energetic level. Thank you for being here with me. I truly appreciate it.
This episode is a reflection of my own journey these near nine months. It feels fitting that the 100th episode and my checking in and reflecting, is occurring after a kind of natural gestation period of nine months.
I speak about how I’ve shifted my centre of gravity from my head to my heart. From the paradigm of fear and trying to “figure out life” to a paradigm of radical trust, surrender and flow that happens by allowing the heart to lead.
The heart has a magnetic field of 3 feet. The brain has an inch. It becomes clear which is the “power centre” of our being.
Life still happens, we still feel varying emotions and the path continues to sometimes have bumps and turns. This journey travels through changing landscapes. But the difference is how we are along the journey. How we perceive it. What meaning we give it. What we believe and therefore see, along the way.
These are my reflections of the journey from head to heart, from fear to trust, and stepping into the co-creation of a new paradigm and reality as I’ve shifted my centre of focus and dropped into a more harmonious state of being.

This is by far my longest episode yet. Something that really just poured through me and I stopped only when I knew it was time to stop (as I couldn’t see the length of time being recorded). I begin with a chuckle by saying that I shouldn’t be so arrogant to believe that I can end suffering. But the thing is, I’m a fellow traveller on this path too. We are both the master and the student, learning and evolving as we move through this wild experience of life. I genuinely believe we have played out the “evolving through suffering” card (we all have the t-shirt) and we’re ready to move on. To grow and evolve in other ways. Through joy. Through the alchemy of the duality we have just learned and grownthrough. From suffering to joy. From greed to generosity. From lack to gratitude etc. In this episode I talk about how we essentially can all make the choice to no longer suffer. But first we have to make the unconscious, conscious. To bring our behaviour into awareness so that we have the consciousness to make a choice, rather than being at the mercy of our habits, patterns, beliefs and the false identity that drives them all. I talk about the “steps” to releasing our suffering, as I’ve walked myself and continue to walk upon the path. I talk about walking each other back home to our authentic, sovereign, free Selves. About how to stop playing the game that pulls us further away from our inner home and from who we truly are. It goes deep and vast and as always, there’s invitation in it all, should you wish to take it. Should it resonate. Should it inspire you. We’re being invited to come into being. To realise that all states, are not something to cerebrally figure out, but a state of being to drop into. We’re shifting our entire centre or gravity from the head to the heart. Enlightenment has perhaps many definitions but the most succinct I’ve come across is it is simply the state of being of unconditional love. In this episode I talk about what unconditional love truly is, the incredibly potent frequency of authenticity, the isness of truth and the simplicity of coming into being. The pathway is through feeling and embodiment and presence is our greatest guide there. What emerges through all of this is the awakening of our innate, magical, abilities that have simply been dormant. This is a time not just of awakening, but of remembering. Why We Lose Faith In Hard Times & How To Hold Onto The Thread Of Light To Get You Through It’s easy to have faith when things are going well. It’s easy to love and accept ourselves when we’re feeling good about who we are. It’s easy to learn and grow when things are working out for us. But what about when life throws you a curve ball and things get tough? We have a tendency to lose faith when things get hard. We tend to throw out all of our tools and quickly drop our belief in ourselves, life, God, the Universe, whatever you choose to call it. But in hard times, in times of darkness, is when we need faith the most. Is when we need to call upon self love and acceptance and compassion the most. I think we lose faith when we don’t feel supported or held by life, God, Universe, because we’ve been conditioned to believe that “hard states” are bad or that somehow your life went wrong or that something or someone is punishing you. It’s easy to fall into the traps of victimhood. So how we do we hold onto the sliver of light that will keep us from drowning in our own despair? How do we see through the lens that life is happening for us and not to us? How do we feel held even when we feel alone? These are all questions I speak to in this week’s episode so tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? There’s nowhere you need to get to. There’s no one you need to become. There is in fact no future moment, only the here and now. We are unlearning the construct and paradigm of the future. Of some “it” moment that is going to bring greater fulfilment into your life. We’re unlearning goals and expectations. We’re unlearning that here isn’t enough and that you aren’t good enough unless you achieve something, attain something or become something to prove and validate your worth. Surrender is a portal to the present moment and the present moment is a portal to all creation where abundance naturally resides. All you have to do is be you. Authentically you. All you need to do is be here now and listen. It’s all an experience. Nowhere to get to. Nothing to “do,” only being. Only experiencing this wild life through the lens of your unique Self. Our mind is powerful beyond measure and can either be used for or against us. When we create coherence between the heart and mind (and I like to also include gut) we can visualise, create and manifest so much. But one of the greatest limitations (or inhibitors) other than fear, is doubt. And we often meet doubt, when we encounter a hurdle or a challenge along the way.Doubt is quick to give up. It believes that none of this work that we’re doing actually works. It disbelieves, just because it’s not happening in the time frame we were hoping or expecting, or in the way we had imagined. It takes a kind of discipline, a sort of mental gymnastics, to not allow ourselves to go into the story of doubt. The story, narrative and the range of emotions that get stirred up by projecting into the story, are often the indicators that we’re in doubt, fear, worry or anxiety. All of these pull us out of the present moment and into a made-up future. The practice is then to come back into the now and into our own centre. Having a daily practice that brings us into ourselves, into stillness and into our centre, keeps doubt at bay or at the very least, allows us to recognise when it’s creeping in, how to tend to it and ultimately let it go. Once we have a practice that brings us into the home within ourselves, we then open up to all sorts of intuitive communications. We begin to see synchronicity happening all over the place. We hear, see or feel our inner guidance more profoundly. We trust more. We fall into flow more easily and consistently. We’re unlearning old conditioning and learning new ways. Ways that support our true potential. Ways that don’t create limitation but expansion.Tune in for more...Loving you from afar,Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? As children we had imagination that built magical worlds. We believed that the impossible was possible. That what our mind could imagine, we could create. We still have that ability to create magical worlds, only our beliefs have narrowed in our vision, and told us (falsely) what is possible and what is not. All manifestation is, is imagination tied in with feeling. The vision of the mind married to the feeling in the body, is what sends a signal out into the quantum field. But what’s required to imagine, is to return to our authenticity—which is really just coming home and remembering who we truly are beyond this form and this life. We’re not learning anything new here, we’re simply remembering what we’ve forgotten. And all the challenges, all the struggles and the dark nights of the soul, are portals to going deeper within us, where we remember who we’ve always been and our immense power to create worlds beyond even our imagination. It’s interesting how when our mood changes and we’re not our “ordinary” bouncy self, people use the term: “what’s wrong?”Maybe there’s nothing wrong at all. Maybe that’s just a poor perception of being that judges and deems certain states as good and others bad. The sea ebbs and flows. Its tides change. Sometimes it is serene and sometimes it is wild. But does it judge itself for changing? No. So why should we?The tides of our lives, of our inner being most especially, will ebb and flow. They will change. It’s ok. There’s nothing wrong. Our job is to remain present. To listen. To be with. To trust that everything in our life, is happening for us not to or against us. When we fall into that state of trust, we fall into flow because we’re no longer resisting or fighting against our experience. But it takes a reframe. It takes letting go of judgment. It takes being aware of how we’re perceiving life and being human. If you don’t see it as “wrong,” it won’t be. If you see it as something that is here to show you something, give you time to process, review, release something, then anytime the tide changes, you won’t panic and feel like something has gone wrong, you’ll trust it and allow it to guide you into your continued growth. It’s simple but we’re kicking a hard habit of old ways of being that have kept us small, fearful and in judgment. Be kind, be patient with yourself. We’re all unlearning and re-learning…or remembering, is more like it. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? There are two ends of the spectrum that keep us from embracing our humanity. One is what society barks down your throat: that you’re flawed and imperfect and not good enough and perhaps even bad, wrong or sinful. The other end of the spectrum is the uber spiritual that tells you, you should be holy, better than human, saintly and enlightened. Both neglect the beauty of actually being human. Being human is the unique point between the earthly and the heavenly. It is the trunk of the tree, where the roots dig deep into earthly soil and the branches reach towards the stars. We get to be the vessel in-between. The horizon between day and night, between earth and sky. We experience most suffering when we think we should be something different than we are. Somehow more holy, more pure, better than what we’re feeling now as humans. But I believe that when we think of reaching “enlightenment” (which I’m personally not a fan of the word), what we’re really seeking is peace. And peace can only come via the full acceptance, embracing and loving of our human selves. We’re not here to transcend. We’re here to grow through this incredibly textured experience of being human. So what if you were to drop all the old beliefs and constructs of how being human is sinful, and instead, believed that you were and are, beautifully and perfectly designed to be exactly the way you are. Sure, we can grow through awareness. We can make the unconscious, conscious. We can change patterns and evolve behaviours. But never from the perspective that we’re not good enough and need to become saintly, but from the view that this is the school of life and we get to explore, discover and evolve our soul through the vehicle of being human. We’re unraveling the old so that we can grow into the new. Which is really just a homecoming; remembering who we truly are. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? We’ve been taught to look at life primarily from a place of logic and rationality. Our society heavily leans towards the left brain at the expense of being disconnected from our right brain and all the abilities and capacities that come with it. What this has done is brought us into a place of limitation. We think of what is logical and therefore what we deem possible, and have forgotten the mystery and magic of the unknown, of vision, imagination, knowing, intuition and the faith and absolute knowing that magic actually does exist. But magic happens in the flow of life. In the trusting of and in the unseen. We have to filter through our limiting beliefs, take on the discipline to move beyond our habits and come into an inner space within us that we find is a source of all creation. It’s a beautiful journey of discovery, though sometimes challenging as we untie old knots that have kept us small and limited. But in the unwinding of the old, we find a new breath of inspiration, magic and awe for life. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? How we approach life is a matter of perspective. Do we want to heal and take full ownership of our human experience and mature into spiritual adults? Or do we believe we are a problem that needs fixing and look to some greater authority to fix it for us, keeping us as spiritual children? What happens when we own our full selves without judgment? When we stay with the discomfort and trust that life is happening for us not to us? When we recognise that to heal is to be with ourselves in full loving presence, we relax, we fall into greater flow and it’s then, that life gets magical. I came across a quote by a man called Cory Muscara that, for me, beautifully depicts the process of moving through our shadow in order to reach our liberation. If you know anything about the way that I work and live my life, you know that I don’t shy away from the shadow. The shadow to me is the way through and to, our liberation, joy, bliss and ultimately, peace. The quote goes:“You won’t find inner peace by focusing on the positive. Inner peace isn’t a mindset shift. It’s the result of meeting yourself deeply, honestly, and in all of your shame, until there’s nothing left to hide and no more reasons to run.”This is how we sit in and with our shadow. We feel. We be with. We stay and then stay some more, until our own presence and love alchemises the pain and suffering and turns it into relief, love and peace.A false positivity means we are forever skirting our experience and therefore, you could say, our truth. False positivity is something we have to keep up with, forever leaning forwards and running ahead of ourselves, lest the dark figure in the night—the shadow—catch up with us. You don’t need to work hard on being positive. If you sit with your experience and stay, not abandoning, neglecting or bypassing, you will naturally come into a place of relief, relaxation and gratitude. Gratitude will be genuine and organic because it’s already there within us, when we drop into the awe of life and its magic. But that genuine gratitude and “positivity,” if we want to use that term, cannot arise unless and until we’ve sat with our human experience. It might be uncomfortable in the moment, but I can tell you from my personal experience, that moving through it to the other side, once we’ve melted down the hardness of the rock around the diamond, is truly an awe evoking experience that will leave you with such an appreciation not only for the beauty that comes into your life, but the hardship it took to get you there. By moving through, we come out the other side and see that there is beauty in all things. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? We’re going through huge evolutionary shifts and I believe we’re being invited, if not sometimes lovingly forced, to live in the present moment. The old way of projecting into the future as if it were a linear straight shot, doesn’t seem to work anymore. I’m not sure it ever did but we were certainly made to believe that’s how we should see life. So some of us might be experiencing not knowing what’s next. Not having all the ducks in a row. Not having life be predictable and in control. Many of us are experiencing the opposite. But in that, we’re learning the art of letting go, having radical trust and radical faith and seeing that when we let go and trust fall into the arms of faith, miracles appear. But part of present moment living will bring us face to face with our ego that is familiar with wanting to control the direction and outcome of our life, and that when under stress, gets triggered into survival mode. So how do we offer love even to our ego which so often gets a bad rap? To not vilify it but utilise it to its greatest, most constructive potential, and place it into a harmonious partnership with our soul?Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? It’s hard to wait for anything, let alone love. We can oscillate from fully enjoying our lives on our own to falling into great impatience, frustration and even despair that what we’re wanting, is just not showing up…yet. What can we do in the emotional stew of it all? Well, as with everything, it’s how we ‘be with’ our experience that either makes the journey a struggle or more fluid. Our beliefs and perspective too, have a great influence not only on our outlook but our present moment experience as we “wait.” Love, attachment, co-dependency, all get triggered in the process of waiting for love. It takes doing the inner work, facing our shadow and our wounds from childhood, showing up with compassion and choosing how we want to perceive our present experience as we move towards the future we want to manifest. In this episode I talk about the very real and human experience of waiting, all the emotions and beliefs that can come up along the way and how to keep our eye on the higher path, if you will.Tune in for more…Loving you from afar,Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? We’re shifting out of the paradigm of fear and moving into one of faith. But faith isn’t a controlled execution. We don’t say we’re taking a leap of faith and then announce our strategy to get there as if it were some mathematical equation with a particular answer. It’s a leap of faith because we’re stepping, leaping, into an unknown. When we let go of trying to control life, others, ourselves—and trust, that actually by letting go we’re tuning into our own gps system, our own guidance system that is led by our soul, The Creator Of All That Is, you name it—we’re tuning in, and and harmonising with, that which is always leading and guiding us if we just allow it. So the question no longer is one of who or what is in control? But rather, am I in harmony, and in partnership with, that which is guiding me? In the letting go of control we realise that letting go doesn’t mean we’re out of control. It actually means we’re in a far greater sense of true safety, because we’re allowing ourselves to be held by the unknown, and the magic that exists within that space, which we’re learning to take a leap of faith into. From that place we get to live authentically because all of a sudden we’re understanding the entire macro context that we’re existing in. Then we understand the seed of who we are in the midst of the vastness of it all. It sounds far out, perhaps, but it’s all a process of curiosity, exploration and discovery. And in that process there is relief, magic and a knowing that we are threaded into and held by a web of life that connects us all. When we feel held, there is not need for control because there is nothing to fear. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? We are in a partnership with our spiritual being and our human being, looking to find collaboration, harmony and learning between both. I think spirituality often gets misconstrued for being a path that has to overcome our humanity—as if our human was something bad or wrong or something to transcend because it isn’t “spiritual—but I believe our humanity is the vehicle for our spiritual growth. There’s a reason we chose to be human and therefore there is a purpose for our human traits. Our emotions, feelings, wounds, shadows and gifts; they are all teachers. If we want to spiritually grow and evolve, we have to walk hand in hand with our humanity as equals. Two aspects that need each other to learn and grow. Our human self needs the inspiration, guidance and expansiveness of our spiritual being in order to grow and evolve. Our spiritual being equally needs our human self to grow and evolve through the arc of human emotion, struggle, suffering, vulnerability and so much more. To spiritually bypass is to forget and leave behind (or worse, neglect and push away) our humanity. But we will not spiritually evolve if we don’t embody our humanity. We are letting go of old paradigms of thinking and perceiving. There is nothing wrong or bad about your humanity. There is nothing evil about your emotions. You are not broken and you don’t need to be fixed. You are already whole, both between your divinity and your humanity coming together. All the pieces that feel fragmented but are not in fact broken, get to come together through the embracement of your entire self; both spiritual and human. A great gift of being human is the ability to alchemise and through alchemy, our soul gets to evolve. This is a partnership not a competition. There is no better or worse, only equal, only companions walking this path of growth together, side by side, one within the other. So the invitation is to know that you are both. To love both, equally. To take both and learn and teach the other through the unique wisdom of both the spiritual and human perspective. Knowing of course, that all is One. All is interconnected. All is a vehicle and catalyst for growth, expansion and the evolution of consciousness itself. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? Hitting rock bottom can come about for many reasons and there are many gifts in it, too. It might come from an accumulation of stress, overwhelm, struggle, or it might come as an invitation to truly trust, surrender and let go. And too, sometimes, even though they say that the Universe will only hand you what you can handle, we get to say, “Enough” and draw a line in the sand. Sometimes it all can feel like too much and we really can’t bear anymore. Sometimes it has to do with our individual journey. But we are also connected to a collective pulse and what we are moving through as a collective being, right now, is immense. The beauty of rock bottom is in the letting go. It’s also in the realisation that the obstacle is the way. That sometimes what we’re moving through is the very thing that will lead us to our gift. There’s a softness that comes through and out of the other side if we can just sit with the discomfort of the crumbling and allow ourselves to relinquish control and land in the fertile soil of rock bottom. We’ve all been there, I am sure. But it’s what we take from it, the fruits we can harvest, the lessons we glean wisdom from and the space of liberation we can expand through on the other side of struggle, pain, suffering and coming truly face to face with ourselves and the Divine tapestry of existence. This and and so much more. This episode is really just a story—it just happens to be mine—of being human. And sometimes sharing our stories, the mundane, the dramatic and the beautiful, is important. It helps us know that we’re not alone in our own version and story of being human. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? We’ve strongly been indoctrinated to believe that there is something more powerful than us outside of us. Whether it’s the voice of authority, our parents, peers, God or even the Universe. We can have the tendency to believe something outside of us knows better, will praise or punish us, is teaching us lessons sometimes kindly and sometimes cruelly. What we don’t realise is that we are not separate to what we seek guidance from. We are it. We are God, the Universe, Consciousness etc. We are it and we’re co-creating with it. We’ve simply been taught not to trust ourselves, that some higher authority knows better than our own inner knowing and wisdom. We’ve even been severed from source and told we need a middle man to get us there. All of this is something we have to unlearn. In that context, we fall into the duality of right and wrong, good and bad, succeeding and failing, praise and punishment. This isn’t a test. We’re not being graded. But we do get to choose what we learn from our experience. We do get to choose how we perceive it and how we respond to it. But no one outside of you has greater authority. No one can tell you how you should live your life, not even God, Spirit or the Source of all that is. We’re shedding old paradigms and belief systems. We’re learning to trust ourselves again. We’re learning to let go of judgment and most importantly, we’re learning to be more loving, kind and compassionate with ourselves. We’re learning how to value ourselves again for the beautiful beings we are, having this wild and crazy experience of life and being human. Go gently. Go kindly. We’re unlearning and remembering what’s true, once more. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? For millennia mystics, poets and spiritual teachers have been talking about love. But now more than ever, in times of both crumbling and awakening, the choice to follow the path of love seems all the more prevalent. Choosing love vs fear will change your life. It will also change the world. But it isn’t to say that we won’t still experience fear, but what I mean here is, will you let fear rule or let love lead? Love is the great alchemist. Love is the only true and real thing. When we leave this body and this crazy simulation—this school of life—the only real thing left is and will be, love. Fear is a figment of the imagination. It feels very real because we have all sorts, feelings and sensations in the body—the response feels real—but fear itself, isn’t. The power of love is to hold, embrace and alchemise fear through its infinite and unconditional capacity to love all things. Love will never abandon, reject or neglect. It holds. It cares. It transmutes. To change the macrocosm we must change the microcosm because “as within, so without and as above, so below.”We have so much power to change the world. Not in the details but in the quantum. Energy, frequency, vibration and intention are all things not to be underestimated. You can change the world. You can change your reality. You can change your state of being. But it comes down to this one choice: will you choose fear or love? Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? We are an instant coffee kind of culture. We want to fix and make things better instantaneously, and often strive to getting rid of symptoms vs looking at the core. Our emotional world needs time. It needs patience. It requires us to be present, stay and be with our experience for more than a millisecond. It can be a tall order in a society that vies for our attention all around the clock. So more often than not, people push their feelings down and “away,” putting them in a state of emotional stagnancy rather than flow. Our emotions, states of being and the phases we move through are just asking us for our presence. When we let go of judgment from the egoic mind, and drop into heart and compassion, it becomes much easier to sit with our emotions, our human experience and move through the various ups and downs of life. We’re here riding the waves. It’s not a linear journey so don’t expect yourself to move along a straight and rigid line. Being human can feel messy sometimes. Welcome, you’re not alone. The trick is to drop the judgment and come into trust (which naturally occurs when we drop into the heart). From there, we’ll find we have all the love, compassion, kindness and patience that we need in order to navigate this wild ride of being human.Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? You’re not a never-ending project. You’re not imperfect as you are. You don’t need fixing because you’re not broken. You don’t even need to change how you’re feeling or what you’re experiencing by somehow “making it better,” if it means that you have to deny the truth of where you are in this moment. The only way to truly “change,” evolve and grow is to first be where we are, here and now, and honour, respect, listen to, and be with our experience. Denying our emotions won’t help us grow. Wallowing in them, won’t encourage us to evolve either. But sitting and being with ourselves as we move through this human experience, will allow us to move through and with it, more fluidly, kindly and compassionately. We’re coming out of a very long phase where gathering knowledge was one the most important focuses. I believe we’re now moving into a time when we can drop down from the mind and centre ourselves in heart and remember our knowing, instead. All that we seek is already in here. We haven’t lost it, we’ve merely forgotten it. What if we allowed ourselves to drop down and in, to come back to heart whenever we find ourselves in a state of tension, and fall into the lap of love that is always there, waiting to hold us?And why is Love always there to hold us? Because Love is who we are. It is the essence of all that is. So it cannot not be there. This is not a time of finding, it’s a time of remembering. What if you didn’t have to try so hard to be you? What if you got to just be you, in all your messy humanity, and know that you are still (and always will be) loved?Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? We often think of progression as something akin to climbing steps: upwards and higher. We aspire to reach a higher place that is “better” to where (and who) we currently are. I see progression, on a spiritual or personal evolutionary level, as a spiralling into ourselves so that we can spiral back up and out. We have to go into our humanity to reach our divinity. The progression might look similar to what Dr. Joe Dispenza says about moving from “thought, to feeling, to knowing. From someone, to no one, to everyone. From somewhere, to nowhere, to everywhere.” Spiritual progression, or self-growth, is the movement from our thoughts and ideas of who we are (which holds our beliefs, habits, patterns and judgments), into the feeling and language of our body, into such a state of presence and awareness with ourselves, that we naturally settle into what has always been there: our innate knowing and wisdom, our wholeness and worth. Ultimately, our connection, and returning home to, our true essence and Self. It’s a journey that doesn’t ask you to become perfect. It’s a journey, instead, that invites you to walk towards yourself with a loving embrace. Holding all parts of us makes us feel whole again. Loving all of who we are makes us feel worthy again. It was all already there—here—we just fragmented ourselves from ourselves. Spiral in. The most precious thing in the world is already within you. You just have to make space for quiet so that you can listen. You have to stay still so you can feel. You have to be present so that you can receive the wonder and beauty of who you truly are, and who you’ve always been.Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? Our culture still holds so much shame around our humanity. I see even in the “self-growth” and spiritual community, this language around ‘getting rid of,’ ‘competing against,’ ‘winning over’ certain aspects of our human selves. From my experience, I don’t find this helpful nor productive. There are no parts to get rid of. If we’re fighting against, or competing with, certain aspects of ourselves, we’re in battle with ourselves. We’re in separation, fragmentation and in conflict. How can we then feel whole? The moment we judge an aspect, we’re in conflict with it and all our energy goes towards that fight. I’ve found the quickest way to healing and wholeness (which we already are, we just keep fragmenting ourselves every time we segregate a part of ourselves from ourselves) is by walking towards our pain, sadness and fear, warmly embracing them, allowing them to sit safely in the lap of love. Love is the ultimate alchemist, we just need to hold the very thing we want to get rid of. Because really, all these aspects are, are scared, younger parts of us that have spent a large part of our life being rejected, abandoned or ignored. The fastest way to heal is to walk towards and to let go of judgment. When we embrace all of ourselves, we feel free, confident, capable. We stand in our vulnerability and feel its power not its misconstrued weakness. We feel comfortable in our own skin vs insecure. We are at home. You don’t need to be ashamed of your humanity. You’re meant to be human and being human means you’ll have all sorts of emotions. You’ll be sensitive. You’ll feel vulnerable. Guess what? It’s all normal. So if you want to step towards wholeness, stop being ashamed of your humanity and start embracing it, instead. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? It’s not easy to change and evolve ourselves because when we evolve, we might find ourselves outgrowing the old and familiar. It’s one of the reasons people don’t do the inner work, or are afraid to, because maybe they begin to resonate less with their friends or environment. Or maybe they go home to their family and their parents trigger all the old ways, patterns and habits. They’re afraid of losing the familiar which feels safe because it’s known. When we evolve ourselves and step into our new, more authentic Selves, old environments can be challenging and even painful because our new Self has to confront our old self. It’s a difficult part of the process of growth. In this episode I talk about how to be with that confrontation in real time. How to not attach to the old story. And how to stay true to our authentic Self along the way. Things might need to adjust. Some people will fall away as new ones will arrive into our lives. Our relationships might need reevaluating and evolving. The way we show up with our parents might need changing, too. But staying safe in the closed bud of our familiar self won’t lead us to the freedom, peace and happiness we’re seeking. We have to find the courage to walk home to ourselves, trusting that the more we choose our true Self, that only good things can come from it. It’s not always easy, I won’t lie. So doing the inner work, tending to your body, feelings and emotions and knowing how to self-soothe, is of utmost importance. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? We often have ideas, concepts and expectations of what we think life should look like. It’s often in those hard defined ideas that we experience suffering because most every expectation is followed by disappointment. We create ideas because it gives us a false sense of safety. That we’re taking the undefinable, unknown that is the future, and trying to make it known by predicting what it should be and look like. But rather than trying to control and define it in order to give us the illusion of safety, what if we trusted the unknown? The invitation is to get comfortable sitting in the metaphoric dark room, in the silence, allowing the unknown to unfold and surprise us. Because the void is the source of all creation and sound only can come out of silence. So we’re learning how to sit here with ourselves without the critic and the judgment we often find ourselves having an internal battle with. The invitation is to be here now with love. Profoundly trusting that when you let go of the ideas and concepts of what you’re life, or day even, should look like, you get to experience the incredible synchronicities and flow that life naturally presents to you when you let go of trying to control it. You’re not your identity, nor are you all the beliefs and stories you’ve unconsciously made and believed yourself to be. It sounds odd because we get ‘identified’ with our identity, right? We think we are our behaviour, our beliefs, our anxieties and our fears. But really who you truly are, is an essence, the rest is learnt and sometimes even made up. Just like we attach ourselves to our identity because it feels familiar, and therefore safe, we equally project onto our lives what life should look like and how it should unfold. I chuckle at the 5 year and 10 year plan because as the saying goes: “How do you make God laugh? You tell him your plans.” We run into suffering when we expect ourselves and life to be a certain way. We suffer when we take things personally and over identify with our feelings. We equally meet suffering when we expect life to be a certain way and then find ourselves disappointed, ashamed or self-blaming if it doesn’t turn out in the exact way we thought it would. We wonder where we went wrong. So much of this work is around building self-awareness so that we can differentiate what is our true essence, and what is the identify we’ve attached ourselves to that we believe (falsely) to be our true self. It comes down to learning the map of who you are. The language of who you are. A place of self-knowing and a gnosis that allows you to truly tune into yourself and the current of life that you’re riding upon. When we can rest in that place, we trust more, let go more and ride the wave with less resistance. And the simplicity of that connection to your higher self and to life, is a beautiful, magical and liberating one.Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? In this episode I share a story that placed me at the edge of danger, on the corners of a dark shadow, that though it did scare and shock me, also brought me great insight into, perhaps, the art of truly living. Truly trusting. Truly letting go and allowing my Higher Self to guide the way. I’ve long since believed in, and guided individuals through, embracing our fear. The only way out is through. When we face our fears, and profoundly trust our greater being, we’re able to return home to who we authentically are. And when we cut the noose from our necks that fear holds a grip on, we’re liberated. When we break through the illusion of control that fear has on us, we’re free. And there’s nothing like being on the edge of danger that will invite you to truly trust, let go and be guided by what is greater than just your human self. This is the school of life. A place for our soul to journey and grow through various lessons. All things, all experiences, all beings deserve the chance to be heard, seen and understood. And when we do these things with presence, we fall into greater flow, greater ease and trust, as we ride this sometimes crazy adventure, that is called life. How much do we trust the journey? Truly trust that wherever we are, whatever we’re experiencing in life, that it is in fact serving us. Sometimes what we need is not what we want. Sometimes the plateau feels never-ending and pointless and yet in hindsight, it offers great wisdom. It’s the point of stillness where everything takes place from. We often don’t see “results” or glean the wisdom we’ve inherited until after the fact. “Hindsight is 20/20 vision.” So it’s important to pause along the way and reflect, look back and see how far we’ve come. Even if how far we’ve come is not visible in outer accomplishments but reflective of all the inner work we’ve done, instead (which in my humble opinion, has far greater value than reaching any goal).Time moves at a strange and changing speed. Sometimes it moves at a snail’s pace and then all of a sudden speeds up and catches us up to where we were waiting, all along, to be. So the invitation is trust. Trust it all. Trust that wherever you are on your journey, you’re in just the right place for your learning, growth and wisdom. As a collective, we’re very future oriented. We’re always looking towards the goal. But don’t underestimate the plateau for it’s where most everything happens. Remember, out of stillness comes motion. Out of silence, comes sound. So today’s invitation is to stop long enough to reflect and notice what you’ve experienced in the past months and years. If you feel you’re in the plateau, ask yourself what are you needing to look at, sit with, feel into and learn…If you’ve arrived to where you were so long to be, feel the gratitude and take note that you did it. And of course, the journey continues on…What would life be like if we truly, truly trusted that we are being guided? Yes, we have to engage with it and meet our Higher Selves, our Guides, God, Sprit etc, half way. This is a dance, a partnership, a shared venture. Be present and listen and you will find the next right step along your unique journey.Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, CorinneWant to work 1-1 with me? Life constantly invites us to lean into it. I’m learning that what it’s asking is for us to radically trust. To recognise that it’s all just an experience that is innately neutral, but that our perception and perspective gives it meaning. So reality is totally subjective depending on how we choose to respond to it. Life is like a river. The obstacles we create place stones along the way. The river may bend, it may get choppy and then flow smoothly again. It’s all neutral. It’s all the way. Radical trust is trusting that our higher Self is guiding us through it all. It passes us through the places that we need to learn something from. It asks us to let go, take that trust fall into its arms and know that sometimes what we need is not what we want but that doesn’t make it any less important. Finally, we are moving emotions. Each experience brings up a different feeling. It’s our choice whether we resist it or stay with it, feel it, listen to it and move through it. Like swimming through the sea, we get to propel ourselves forwards by moving through the water. Not fighting against it. Leaning into life is radically trusting that what is here for you now is for your greatest good and how you choose to respond to it will create the experience and shape your reality. So lean in, trust and perhaps even, enjoy. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? It’s all too easy to get cushy and comfy in routine and predictability. The familiar feels safe. But growth happens in the unfamiliar and the unknown. It happens when we stretch our metaphoric skin and take risks in life. Change takes courage. Being human, takes courage. But if we want growth, if we want to feel enlivened, if we want to create positive change in our lives, we’re going to have to get uncomfortable. Courage always arises in the face of fear. Change, whether external or internal, will scare us. Our very identity gets rattled and reality bends itself into a new perspective. The work is knowing that no matter what, we’ll be there for ourselves. The wisdom is knowing that when we step off the ledge, we will sprout wings. We’re learning to fly. To be free of our own limitations. So take courage, be brave and dive into life knowing that when you get uncomfortable, you will grow and reach new heights. Timing is a tricky one. We often want to make things happen in a way that we believe we can control everything and everyone in our lives. But that control is an illusion. There’s a process to things and everything that life presents you with, is for you. Maybe there’s more work to be done. Maybe there’s more allowing, softening and surrendering to happen. Maybe not everyone in the scenario you’re dreaming up, is ready. It all comes down to trust. Trust the timing. Trust the process. Trust this now moment and that it will lead you exactly to where you need to be. Time, by the way, for all the ways in which it can drag out and feel like a long-hail flight, can equally all of a sudden speed up. So don’t worry about timing. Let it do its thing and know that everything will slot in when it’s ready. We all have the victim archetype within us but sometimes we can get over identified or over attached to it. It’s the part that says, “Why me?” “Life is unfair” “Good things happen to other people, bad things always happen to me” “I’ll never get what I want.” The victim feels helpless and hopeless and therefore doesn’t work to change things. When dealing with the victim, we have to call upon other parts of us to help us see things from a different perspective and with a clearer lens. It’s not always easy in the moment, but at some point we have to make a choice, take self responsibility and actually choose happiness for ourselves. It’s a process that requires compassion, patience and courage. We might focus a lot on doing the inner work: working through our patterns of behaviour, discovering our wounds, what our needs are, how to cultivate emotional intelligence etc. But if we don’t look at how consciousness plays into all of this, it’s kind of like studying fish in the ocean and ignoring the fact that they live in water. We are consciousness. Consciousness is in all things. It is what is alive. Call it an energy, frequency, love, God…it is the fabric that weaves through all things, and is in constant communication with us. This episode runs vast and deep. I encourage you to be curious, open-minded and open-hearted. We come into this world as children so curious, asking a million “why” questions. As adults we harden, we forget, our blinkers slide in and we walk a straight and narrow path. This is an invitation to be childlike again. Curious, open, receptive, moving into peripheral vision vs laser, single-pointed focus. This awakening that we’re undergoing is just a remembering of who we truly are and what this is all about. So the conversation of consciousness is fundamentally important. Because when we remember who we are and what all things are, we return home and when we’re at home we feel safe (truly safe, not the false illusion of ‘safety’) at peace and in our joy. We feel held again by life, existence and this human experience becomes less scary, less overwhelming and lonely. I love this conversation because when you really tap into it and bring it into your daily life, you’ll see that magic returns to life again, and that is a wondrous thing!Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Want to work 1-1 with me? What I’ve learned over the past few decades, is that the only way to really come home to ourselves is to first walk through our fear. We must not only face it, but embrace it in order to move through into the deeper aspects of ourselves and return home to the lap of love and who we truly are as our Authentic Self.Fear makes us uncomfortable, it’s scary, painful even, but it is the door we must walk through in order to find our way back home. And by home, I mean our true essence. Not our false personality nor our beliefs and identities that we built around our false beliefs. But fear is not to be circumvented or even transcended. It must be embraced because it is in the embracing of our fears that we recognise that all fear is, is a scared child within us and all that child needs from us is our loving attention and a warm hug so that it no longer feels alone. There are many forms of fear. In this episode I go into a few areas: primal/instinctual fear, emotional fear and energetic (frequency) fear. In order for us to return home to ourselves and in order for us as a collective to evolve and ascend, we must face and embrace our fear to reach the other side of light, love, harmony, peace and joy. To return home both as individuals and as a collective. The light births itself from the dark. So if you want to find your light, you have to find the courage to walk through the dark first. It’s not as scary as you think. Your avoidance is the scary part. The relief comes when our fears feel less alone, when they are tended to with love and nurture. Then naturally, without any effort, our fears transform, transmute and sometimes even, vanish life a puff of smoke. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, CorinneWant to work with me 1-1? All change requires transition but we often tend to skip over the transition, or at the very least, move through it unaware. Because sometimes transition is uncomfortable. But transition is a wonderful invitation to be in the present moment. It’s a great opportunity for us to slow down, reflect, process and let go of our past, so that we can move into the future (or the next now moment) with presence, wholeness and joy. If we skip the transition, we carry over the baggage of our past. We forget and leave parts of ourselves behind. We bypass the feeling of completion, tying the knot at the end of the thread so that the sweater doesn’t unravel. Transitions are a wise teacher. Sometimes uncomfortable as they may carry the grief of letting go and the anxiety of not knowing what is to come. But stay with the transition and feel all the feelings that arise in it, and you will walk into your future whole and ready for all the ways in which life might choose to surprise you. There’s a process to awakening. First we must find the courage to look at the shadow within and around us, and the shadow is simply the parts that we don’t want to look at. The parts we deny, reject, abandon and hide away. But the shadow is the doorway, the portal, to our liberation and peace. Once we move through our shadow, all our fears, pain, wounding, and learn to love it all—learn to love every corner of ourselves—then we come back home to who we truly are. And who we truly are, by the way, has always been there. We just forgot. Just as who we are is and will always be whole, we just feel ‘unwhole’ because we sever parts of ourselves from ourselves. So awakening is not just about revealing the shadow, but about remembering who we truly are; which is incredibly powerful and totally magnificent. It goes beyond just being worthy, loveable and significant. It goes back to the very essence of who you are, which is an infinite, limitless being, made of love. Right now we are going through a collective awakening. Seeing the shadow within and around us, and boy, isn’t there a lot of it! Until we learn to include all parts of us, to stop denying and rejecting and fighting against ourselves creating an endless internal war, the world will reflect the same dynamic (as within so without) and history will repeat itself again and again. Because this is the school of life and we’re here to learn, grow and evolve.Stop hating parts of yourself. Stop hating others.Come back to love and you will find home again. Come back to love and you will change the world. That is the true awakening.Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne Interested in working with me 1-1? Anything that we do entails a certain level of risk. There’s a risk in falling in love, moving to a different part of the world, starting a new job. The risk is stepping into the unknown, not knowing the outcome. The illusion is that we can control the outcome. That we can control others. But we don’t have control of anything, really, other than the way we choose to respond to our experience. When we want to create change in our lives, we have to be willing to take the risk to step into the unknown, to stretch ourselves beyond our comfort zone (which on a side note, our comfort zone might be familiar but it isn’t always serving us) and encourage ourselves to keep growing and evolving. Change requires courage—courage to take that risk. Courage requires trust. Do we trust ourselves? Do we trust that we’ll be there for ourselves, without abandoning or rejecting ourselves, as we step into and through the unknown? Once we build trust we create the feeling of safety within us because safety is a state of being more than it is a space or a place. And once we feel safe, we find the courage to take the risk to create change. It’s a spiralling in, to spiral back out again, kind of process. Change is scary, whether it’s an external change, or an internal change like deciding to no longer play the old patterns, belief systems and habits that have kept us in a state of lack of self-worth. Either way, we are stepping into an unknown, learning to make different choices, showing up in new ways, all of which will support and create new outcomes. Nothing changes when we are in a state of resistance and yet sometimes we have to go through the resistance state to clarify what it is that we want to change. But in order for change to occur, we must stop resisting what is. We have to allow, accept and feel into what is happening right here, right now. Only then can we make a choice as to how we want to respond to our current reality. We have to stand on two feet first before we can take a step forwards. This goes both for our external and internal world. So much of our suffering arises out of being in a state of tension because we don’t want this or that experience. We don’t want this feeling. We don’t want this situation. We don’t what is here to be this way, we want it to be that way, for example. But if you haven’t already noticed, it doesn’t really work does it? Resistance doesn’t change anything it just creates more suffering. So if we want things to change, we have to stop fighting against ourselves and our current reality. We have to soften and find that point of relaxation that allows flow to come in which gives us that sense and feeling of moving forwards. Sometimes we’ll be walking in the dark. We’ve got to learn to trust it.Sometimes it will take a good long while before we can stop the resisting, because we might be undoing decades worth of habit, routine and patterning. Wherever you’re at is perfect. Begin there. In this episode I go into the simple yet profound ways of letting go of resistance and allowing, instead. It comes down to choice and of course, awareness.Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne www.corinneblum.comInstagram: @corinneblum @theauthenticselfcoachFacebook: @corinneblum @corinneblumcoach
We all have needs but many of them are unconscious, stemming from childhood, and we play them out through our ‘reactive’ behaviour in relationship. Needs are just a feeling that we require in a particular moment and situation. Unmet needs are a feeling we needed that we didn’t receive (most especially in childhood). The need could be for safety, validation, love, assurance, connection, truth worthiness…and so on. But when our needs are unconscious and we haven’t learnt yet how to give ourselves those needs, we expect others to fulfil them for us. We’re still playing out the child looking to its parent to fulfil the emotional need that wasn’t met in a moment of fear, confusion, aloneness. A moment when we didn’t feel loveable enough, significant enough or competent enough. When we needed presence and instead we were met with what might have felt like a vacancy and being left alone with an overwhelming experience. Getting to know our deeper needs is a ‘peeling back the layers of the onion’ kind of process. We can start with our unconscious behaviour which normally shows up as reactivity. Then we go deeper and notice what is the emotion, the feeling, where are they coming from, what are they trying to express to us and what is the emotional need at the core. This process is about building a conversation and creating a language with ourselves—our emotions, fears, triggers, beliefs, wounding etc. Once we have the language, we learn how to give ourselves what we need which almost always will be a feeling. It’s a complex topic with so many layers but we can begin with small steps. Getting to know ourselves along the way, inviting our inner child to grow into the adult we are today, that is capable of meeting our own needs and learning how to communicate them with our partner; ultimately creating healthy, mature, secure relationships. If we believe that there are parts of us that are good and parts of us that are bad, if we believe that certain emotions are positive and therefore ok to feel and others are negative and therefore should be gotten rid of, we are living in duality within ourselves. When we’re in duality, we see things in black and white, good and bad, right and wrong and inevitably what that produces, is judgment. When we judge parts of ourselves, we sever and fragment ourselves which is what makes us feel “broken” and less wholeBut we’re not broken, just like we’re not unloveable or unworthy. We are innately whole, worthy and loveable. But through our pain, hurt, confusion, fear, abandonment etc, we began to store parts of us away in the shadow of our being, fragmenting our sense of wholeness and worse, finding ourselves in an inner conflict with parts of us we deem shameful, bad, or wrong.Moving from duality and judgment to wholeness and compassion requires that we no longer exile parts of us away into the shadows. It requires us to embrace and heal our wounds and all that healing is, is loving our entire selves, most especially our sore spots. In this episode I look at both the micro and the macro of how our inner duality and judgment gets reflected by the duality and judgment we see out in the world. And how though is may seem simple, how living from heart and embodying love, truly will change the world because heart and unconditional love simply cannot judge, destroy or hate without feeling the pain of doing so.Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne www.corinneblum.comFacebook: @corinneblum @corinneblumcoachInstagram @corinneblum @theauthenticselfcoachWant to work 1-1 with me? Life isn’t linear, but cyclical and sometimes squiggly. It isn’t a constant forward and upward moving line, either. It ebbs and flows. It travels across various terrains. Sometimes it’s easeful and we’re riding a nice, long wave to the shore, and in other moments it’s tempestuous. Cultivating resilience and endurance is learning how to dance with life. Knowing that we’re in partnership with life, the Universe, God (choose your word). We’re co-creating this experience as we go along. But if we get too rigid in our ideas that life ‘should’ and ‘has to’ go in a particular way, the 5 year plan, the 10 year plan, and then life all of a sudden doesn’t happen that way, we get easily thrown. We wonder what’s wrong. We question why. But life was never predictable, or controllable, or linear in the first place.Radical trust starts with our relationship with ourselves. Building our unique language with ourselves, learning to listen and then learning to trust what we hear. Navigating life is about bringing these three together: resilience, endurance, trust. Knowing that they a part of the dance, all of which require our presence, self-awareness and the willingness to flow with life rather than resist against it. Tune in for more as I dive into what the inner work that we need to do is, how we can become our own obstacle, redefining the way we view life and the questions we can ask ourselves along the way. Self-trust is not something that happens over night, most especially in a society that doesn’t encourage us to listen to our true selves. It is something that is cultivated over time. First we have to get to know our true Self, which lies beneath all the false layers of who we think we should be for others. Next, we have to show up with presence and kindness with enough consistency that we begin to recognise that we can rely on ourselves. We see that we’re no longer ignoring or neglecting, judging or criticising but we’re showing up with compassion and love, instead. Over time, we begin to trust. In this episode, I go into the ways in which we don’t trust ourselves, the ways in which we can learn how to, and what trusting ourselves looks like in physical form. “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” ― Rumi No matter what it is that we’re seeking in life, be it love, work, home, we often expend so much energy trying to “find” it. In the process of “looking,” we get tired, we lose hope, faith and the belief that what we’re seeking, we’ll find.In this episode I offer you an analogy to help you stop seeking and start receiving, instead. I also clarify what I believe to be some misconceptions around the Law of Attraction and how perhaps my view on it might be a bit different. We’re all able to manifest, it just requires that we lovingly do the inner work, embody our true, Authentic Self, accept our humanity as something that isn’t “bad” or “wrong” and instead learn how to be with all of it with love and compassion. It also takes radical trust, letting go of feeding the fear and stepping into a state of being that knows that no matter what, it’s all going to be okay. Stress, anxiety, worry, fear, all have a way of taking up a lot of our time and vitality if we let them. But we often try to “deal” with these by masking the symptoms. We’re a Bandaid culture that doesn’t often like to take the time to go a little deeper into the core of WHY we feel stressed, anxious, worried or scared.
In this episode I talk about how stress plays out in our lives, how we tend to deal with it and how we can deal with—or, be with (listen to the full episode to see what I mean by this)—it, in a different more useful way.
We spend so much of our lives worrying about the future rather than being in the present with ourselves, cultivating a healthy relationship with ourselves and discovering that true inner peace isn’t dependent solely on the external but primarily on our state of mind and state of being.
“Stress isn’t what is happening to you, it’s how you are responding to what’s happening around you.”
Stress, therefore, is a mode of thinking, behaving and reacting to life’s circumstances. The good news is, we have “control” over our state of mind and being. It takes some discipline, courage, patience and compassion—we have to be willing to put in the work. But eventually, once we create a consistent daily practice, we’re no longer at the mercy—the tail wagging the dog—of our behaviour. The practice of being with our experience and showing up for ourselves with presence, becomes second nature and life becomes a lot more easeful.

How often do you find yourself pretending? You might not be conscious of it but we often don’t share how we really are, not only with others but sometimes, more importantly, with ourselves. We’ll distract ourselves from the discomfort, we’ll push down the pain, we’ll avoid the sadness…but there’s no ‘away.’ There is only repression and at one point or another, we will have to face what’s inside of us otherwise it will find a way out; most likely in an unpleasant way.
We live in a pain avoidant society. We deify ‘doing.’ We haven’t been taught how to be with and move through our emotions. How to sit with our pain, sadness, loss and grief.
In this episode I’m inviting you to think about dropping into the metaphoric dark room within you (listen to the episode to see what I’m referring to here) and listen. Listen to your feelings and emotions. Pay attention to your pain. Give a voice to your sadness, anger and even rage. All of these are messengers asking for your attention to go deeper. Deeper inside of yourself where you’ll find home, comfort and the confidence to just be you.
No more pretending. No more needing to be something that you are not. Just you, as you are, fully worthy of just being you.

A lot of our suffering comes from the over identification with our thoughts, feelings and behaviours. We believe we ARE them…but we’re not.
This human experience is a dance, a conversation, between the essence of who we truly are and the personality that gives us an identity as a person in this human experience.
Now that might sound far out, but the reason why it’s so useful to understand this, is that it creates enough space for you to be able to observe your personality, behaviour and all the thoughts and feelings that come with it, WITHOUT being run by them, or drowned by them or being taken for a ride by them.
We have to be willing to go inside. We have to be willing to observe, self-reflect and make the unconscious, conscious. Some might be thinking, “That’s a hell of a lot of work and it sounds kind of scary, why the hell would I do that?! Being “asleep” is so much easier, so much more comfy….”
Only it’s not.
Waking up to ourselves can feel challenging, confronting and like a lot of work, at first. But it really is the only path to freedom and peace. It is the way to feel the relief you’ve been seeking. Because all of a sudden we’re riding the wave vs being bashed around by it. All of a sudden we have hold of the reins, rather than being thrown around by an uncontrollable stallion.
This path of being human is a humbling one and the ego likes to put up a good fight. It likes to be “right.” But when we do the inner work and grow, when we can say in certain situations, “I’m sorry, I made a mistake, I was wrong,” we open our hearts, we create connection and we reside in a kind of “isness” that holds the pure truth of who we are. And from that place we emanate love more freely. We become the beings we have always been but only forgotten along the way.

I believe that the more we get to know ourselves, the more liberation, happiness, fulfilment and peace we create for ourselves.
When I was introduced to the Enneagram in my early/mid twenties, it gave me a context to understand myself more. I felt so relieved in a way, thinking, “Oh wow, I’m not the only one that feels this way?!” But more so, it helped me understand the underbelly of who I am. How to work with my shadow, understand what motivates me and how to take care of myself better, amongst many other gifts.
Tools such an the Enneagram are not meant to pigeonhole us but to help us understand who we are better so that we can grow, evolve and move more into who we truly are in the essence of our being.
The more we cultivate self-awareness and consciousness, the more we have to work with. It’s not about judging our personality- our quirks, foibles, fears, anxieties, needs, desires etc-but the exact opposite. It’s about embracing all parts of us as a means to come closer to who we truly are. To return back home within ourselves to the place, and being that we are, that is innately worthy, loveable and significant.
The Enneagram is a wonderful way to not only get to know ourselves better, but it helps us understand others better too. When we understand our differences, we are more able to be compassionate rather than judgmental. It can be incredibly helpful in relationship as well - sometimes a life and relationship saver!
In a world so at the ready to criticise one another for our differences, don’t you think it would be lovely to turn that around and create more compassion, instead?

Dating isn’t so easy these days for singles. Some of you might be from a generation that you remember what dating was like before smart phones and dating apps; it could only happen organically. Some of you might be from a generation where you’ve never met someone in an organic way but only through apps. It’s a strange time for dating for everyone.
But no matter which way you choose to date, how to do it authentically is really the core question and motivation.
In this episode I go into what some of the challenges are, how modern society has gotten very anti-social or socially awkward because many people don’t even look up anymore, let alone chat to one another. I talk about how our perception is greatly affected by the stories we tell ourselves, the emotions that enhance those stories and the beliefs that lie at the core of them.
When we recognise that our stories aren’t serving us, we get to choose to not believe in them anymore. When we stop believing in them, we stop feeding them and then we get to take on an entirely new perspective that is motivated by a belief that actually does serve us.
I also talk about just being YOU!

This is really only the beginning of a much vaster conversation. Really, I’d like to speak more to women and men directly, and gather their stories and share more based on what I learn from them. Already I’ve had men especially, reaching out wanting to share their thoughts and experiences.
Both women and men alike, have their plight. And I believe much of it comes down to an unhealthy society that emasculates men and masculinises women. In the process, both the masculine and feminine within us all, have been vilified. We’ve been pulled away from our innate nature and our natural gifts, values and roles that we offer each other as men and women, have been confused.
It’s a big topic and I’m here to just start the conversation and encourage you to begin speaking amongst one another. I believe we need to share our challenges, pain and suffering, listen to them without competition, offer compassion and learn how to build a bridge back to each other again.
Because really, wouldn’t it be nice to just learn how to love each other more?

Yesterday I hit the wall and I felt vulnerable for it. I had a good cry. Today I’m sharing a little about hitting the wall. About not knowing or of knowing that somehow “here” doesn’t feel right, but I can’t yet see where “there” is and how to get there.
I don’t have answers but all I can say is that many, if not all of us, are undergoing great transition and the dragging on of it is frustrating. It can feel like we’re constantly running up again walls, that there’s no clarity, that you can exhaust every option and you still meet the wall.
Know that if you’re feeling like this that you’re not alone. We’ll get through the other side eventually. In the meantime I’m asking myself what are the lessons? How can I let go more? Try less? Trust…Surrender…Allow.
It’s simple but it’s certainly not easy, that’s for damn sure!
So some days are like this: hard, tearful, frustrating. But I believe that if we share our stories, our vulnerability, that we can support one another because we’re all carving a new path…even if we haven’t a clue where the hell we’re going!

There is an illusion that comes through wanting to control others or the environment around us. What I mean by that is, we believe that if we can control someone or something else around us, that we’ll feel safe.
But safety can’t be conditional and dependent on something outside of us because the reality is we don’t have control of anyone or anything outsides of ourselves. We only have control over ourselves and how we choose to respond to situations and people in our lives.
So what we’re really look for is not to control but to feel safe and the first point of safety needs to come from within ourselves.
So when we feel pulled to control, the invitation is to ask ourselves in what ways are we scared? What do we need? How can we give ourselves that need so that we feel safe and ok in this moment.
I go much deeper into all of this along with looking at attachment styles, communication and more.

Confidence isn’t something you acquire from the outside. Confidence naturally comes when you become comfortable within yourself, and in order to feel comfortable within yourself, you have to get comfy with the parts that make you feel uncomfortable.
That’s a mouthful!
You can say affirmations, sure. You can do things that make you feel good, sure. Ultimately though, confidence arises when we’ve learned to sit with our deeper discomfort: our fear, pain, sadness and wounding.
We’re flexing a new muscle when we “stay with” our experience. We’re building trust with ourselves when we stay without judgment or criticism. We’re showing ourselves that we’re trustworthy when we stay long enough that we recognise we’re not abandoning, rejecting or neglecting our inner most tender parts of ourselves.
When we get comfortable staying there, we’ll be far more comfortable in other situations, be it: dating, a job interview, being in a social group etc. If you’re comfortable within yourself no matter what arises, even if you feel terribly embarrassed, you’re going to begin to feel good within yourself because you won’t be resisting who you are. Instead, you’ll embrace who you uniquely are (quirks and all), allowing you to accept and inevitably love all parts of you and feel comfortable within your own skin. All this will lead you to feel confident and which in turn, will support you in showing up in life in more authentic, ‘true to you’ ways.
Why waste a life being someone that you’re not in order to impress someone that ultimately won’t be right for you? “A privilege of a lifetime, it to be who you truly are.” (Jung).

What is intimacy? What does it require? Why are we afraid of it? Why is intimacy so important?
Intimacy is all about heart and it requires us to reside in our heart so that we can connect to others. But our hearts are both powerful and tender so there is great vulnerability and even risk that comes with intimacy. But ultimately intimacy begins with being intimate with ourselves and being intimate with ourselves asks us to drop into our heart and be honest with ourselves.
“Into Me I See” is a term being used a lot to breakdown the meaning of intimacy m. So as with most things, the journey starts within.
How honest are you with yourself? Are you living in your heart? Can you be vulnerable with yourself? Can you hold and take care of your fears?
These are just some of the questions that lead us to greater intimacy within ourselves and therefore deeper, more meaningful intimacy with others (whether romantic or platonic).
In the end, intimacy leads us to human connection—a fundamental need we have as humans.

You’re not a project because you’re not broken and therefore there’s nothing to fix, or even accomplish.
I wish I could give you a step 1,2,3 on how to do this life business, but if it were that linear, life would come with a manual.
For me, this work isn’t about “doing,” at least it doesn’t start from there. It’s about “being.” How are we “being” with ourselves. Are we being kind or mean? Are we critical or accepting? How we treat ourselves deciphers how “happy” or at peace we are within ourselves.
And btw, once we’ve learned how to be in a state of “being,” the “doing” naturally follows. How we are within ourselves will flow into our behaviour, it will positively affect and reframe our belief systems, shift our triggers and reactions and we’ll begin to show up very differently in life because we will be relating to ourselves in new ways. As within, so without.
Whatever you’re looking for from the outside is most likely what you are needing on the inside—from YOU.
In this episode I talk about where to begin and how a simple reframe can make all the difference.

The main things that keep us from feeling liberated within ourselves are: our story, judgment and expectations.
There will always be an element of struggle and suffering in life, but there’s no need for the unnecessary suffering that comes through all the ways in which we keep ourselves small, put ourselves down or feel like we’re failing at life.
One of the greatest intentions I hold in my work, is to support us in liberating ourselves from that unnecessary suffering so that we can be in our joy, or at the very least, so that we can feel at peace with and within ourselves.

Sometimes we simply don’t have the capacity to meet someone’s needs and vice-versa.
When we do the inner work, we begin to see life and others through a clear, more neutral lens. Our perspective is less tinted and tainted by our own wounds, triggers and unmet needs. When we’ve healed our wounds and tended to our triggers and know how to show up for ourselves with acceptance, love and care, we can see things for what they are rather than the story we’ve made up about us, that person, the relationship, life etc.
The next step is that we can maybe tap into our natural, innate being that has compassion for ourselves and others.
When we do the work we can recognise other people’s capacity. What their ability is and where they’re at on their own journey of growth. When we can see what their capacity is (or isn’t), we stop taking things personal. And when we stop taking things personal, we can let go of the story of the past, or the false story of ourselves that are no longer serving us. Instead, we come from a place of worth, understanding and ultimately, care.

What if there was nothing wrong with you? What if there was no problem to fix, or nothing to get rid of? What if you knew that you are innately good enough and worthy but maybe there are just parts of you that need your loving attention? How would that change things? And how would it feel to know that you are not your behaviour? That sure, we all need to be accountable for our behaviour, but that our inherent worth isn’t based on what we do but who we are at the core of our being. When we create enough space between the essence of who we truly are and our behaviour, then we can change, alchemise and transform our behaviours, habits, patterns etc. But if we’re identified with our behaviour, it’s hard to change anything because we’ll take everything personal. We don’t like to talk about the messy parts of being human because we’ve been taught and told to believe that there are “good” parts of us and “bad” parts of us—which is totally untrue. We’ve been told we need to be perfect, happy and positive all the time. That some emotions and states of being are positive and others are negative and to stay well away from the “negative” ones. But in doing so, we neglect, reject and abandon ourselves. If we want to feel liberated and at peace with ourselves, we have to accept our entire humanity—messy parts included. The only way out is through. Pain is the portal. Your triggers are the alert systems that are there to get your attention to turn towards yourself and go deeper within yourself to the places that are hurting and need your loving attention. There is no human on this planet that doesn’t have triggers, insecurities, fears, needs, desires and tender places within themselves….We’re human and therefore we’re vulnerable and that’s totally ok. The intention of doing the inner work is not to fix you because something is wrong with you, it’s to make the unconscious conscious so that you are no longer at the mercy of your triggers, limiting beliefs and wounds. We do the inner work so that we can respond rather than react and become the co-creators of our lives rather than the victim to our lives. You’re not alone. There’s nothing wrong with you there’s only a story that perpetuates your suffering. So let’s talk about it so that we, together, can move through it and recognise along the way, that you are loveable, significant, worthy and perfect, just as you are.Tune in for more…Loving you from afar,Corinne www.corinneblum.comInstagram: @corinneblum @theauthenticselfcoachFacebook: @corinneblum @corinneblumcoach
If we want to change the world we have to change ourselves but changing ourselves doesn’t mean that we’re not good enough as we are. It just means that we need to drop into our heart and fall into love and the way to do that is by accepting our entire humanity. We do have the power to change the world. All it would require would be to drop into our hearts and raise our frequency but the challenge getting there collectively, is that we have to embody it first and we can’t embody it fully if we’re still judging ourselves and believing that we’re not good enough. You don’t have to be “high vibe” by pretending, or acting, or behaving positively all the time. If you drop into your heart and become loving, kind, compassionate and patient with yourself—most especially when you are experiencing challenging emotions (that are not bad but rather messengers alerting you to something that needs your loving attention)—the more able you’ll be able to show up in the world in a more heart-centered, loving, tolerant and compassionate way. In this episode I talk about why humanity is being called to drop into heart, the power of frequency and why it’s so important to give focus to it WITHOUT spiritually bypassing, and how like attracts like. I’ve learned that humility is such a key part of being human and embracing our humanity—all of it. That the more I soften, surrender, trust and remain curious, the more life flows. The deeper and more connected our relationships become. The more easeful this experience becomes even when things get tough—because they inevitably will and do get tough at times. The more you know, you realise you know nothing. But knowing doesn’t come from the mind alone. It’s a knowing on all levels of being: mental, embodied, emotional, energetic. And knowing nothing just means that we gather wisdom but remain childlike in our inquisitiveness to hunger for more learning. We’re learning how to have this human experience and humility allows us to explore it without judgment, without good and bad and right and wrong. With humility, we stop fighting ourselves and others, trying to prove how right we are and how hell bent we are at holding onto our reality. So much beautify arises when we soften, let go of being right, take self responsibility and be humble enough in our approach to life to sometimes say, “I’m sorry, I got that wrong, let me see and learn this from a new angle.” Be curious like a child. Forever learning. Forever growing. Neither right nor wrong but remaining in that inquisitive in-between where everything happens. Cultivating self-awareness is really the starting point to this journey of getting to know yourself. Without self-awareness we’re at the mercy of our lives and unconscious behaviours, which include our triggers, traumas, wounding, limiting self-beliefs etc. Without self-awareness we’ll continue to replicate the same patterns of behaviour, the same dynamics of relationship, not much will really change because we’re not in the driver’s seat of our lives. Life is happening to us instead of through us, as they say. Think of it like this: You have been moving through life with a flashlight. You can only see as much as that flashlight illuminates within the narrow tunnel of light that it encompasses. Self-awareness is turning on the light. All of a sudden you see so much more of what is around you that was once in the dark. At first, yes, you will see all the clutter but at least now you have the choice to “clean it up” and make the space what you want it to be rather than remaining in the dark where you keep on bumping up and stubbing your toe on god knows what, but it bloody well hurts every time that you do!Cultivating self-awareness is the first step to ultimately feeling free within yourself. You become the witness, the observer, of your experience and within that space between yourself and life, you get to choose how you respond (vs react) to life as it arises. Hopefully all of this is held in the container not just of awareness, but of love.Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne www.corinneblum.comInsta: @corinneblum @theauthenticlifecoach Facebook: @corinneblum @corinneblumcoach
We all resist at times. We resist our experience, how we’re feeling, our pain and discomfort. But the more we resist, the greater our state of tension becomes. The more we resist, the more layers of density we build up over time. And the more layers we cake on, the more afraid we become, which in turn makes us resist more. It becomes a vicious cycle. We want to be in a state of relaxation—which doesn’t mean always being happy, btw. It means being at peace with our current experience. In order to be in a state of relaxation however, we have to allow our present experience. We have to soften into it and surrender and ultimately trust the process of being human and this experience that we’re living out. In this episode I go into how to meet our point of resistance, how to return to love and how you’ll discover your liberation and meet the greatest gift on the other side, which is to be uniquely you, in this lifetime!Tune in for more…Loving you from afar,Corinne www.corinneblum.comInsta: @corinneblum @theauthenticselfcoach
Relationship is such a vast topic, rich with content. Whether you’re single longing to be in relationship, or are in a partnership, relationship can be a central focus of our lives. When talking about relationship the immediate question is: what is our relationship to relationship? Which basically means, what is our relationship to love and attachment? Relationship is an amazing catalyst for healing. It will trigger the crap out of us, but it equally provides us with the opportunity to heal because much of our wounding/trauma happened within the context of relationship (beginning with our mother and father). It’s a deep topic with no particular answer but perhaps a few points of inquiry. The invitation: start having the honest conversation with yourself. What do you long for? What scares you? What blocks you from fully being loved? Tune in for more…Loving you from afar,Corinne www.corinneblum.comInstagram: @corinneblum @theauthenticselfcoachFacebook: @corinneblum @corinneblumcoach
We all have intuition and both an inner and outer guidance system that supports us. We’ve just been living in a culture that has pulled us so far away from ourselves, our centre and therefore our amazing abilities that we innately have.We have incredible tools and support systems to lean upon—or better said: engage with—within and around ourselves. But we’ve got to start getting curious and be willing to the explore deeper, vaster parts of ourselves. We primarily live in the left hemisphere of our brain and the neocortex thinking/speaking mind, at that. There is a whole other hemisphere to explore as well as our two other centres of intelligence: the heart and the gut. Then there is our being, our energetic body and our emotional body that offer so much wisdom and intuition. In this episode I share some personal experiences of how my intuition has communicated with me and what you can do to begin to connect, listen and be in conversation with your own. The pressure of purpose…I kind of wish I had never been told that I was special, or talented, or that I would do great things on a grand scale because expectation gets tied into that and pressure comes out of expectation. But what creates pressure around purpose? Is it our lack of self-worth trying to prove something? Is it society’s constant dangling of the carrot in front of our noses saying we’re not enough until we achieve more?Or is it the knowing of our soul’s mission that relentlessly pushes us towards our potential?Maybe it’s all three and more. I don’t have the answer but I can offer a conversation around so that maybe you feel less alone under your own pressure. I almost didn’t want to record today as I was feeling tired, a bit low, periody and like I wasn’t sure what I could even offer from that place. But then I thought, there is no better moment to talk about self-worth when I myself am feeling down and having a conversation with my self-worth. When we’re feeling down, many of us feel (or have felt in the past) alone with our experience. Because our society isn’t one to say: yes, welcome, we can include that. It has us wait for when we’re fine, happy, positive, successful. And yet the irony is, that society simultaneously will tell us that we’re not good enough as we are. Let’s talk about self-worth and how it doesn’t come through just when we’re happy and positive and on a high, it’s actually most needed when we’re feeling down and on a low. It comes in with love and says: it’s okay, I’m here for you, I love you no matter what. Even if you’re huddled up on the couch feeling all shitty, I’m here for you. I’m not going anywhere. I’m here. But self-worth also let’s us know we don’t need to play out that story or go down that hole because why do we need to hurt ourselves like that? Why do we need to suffer unnecessarily? The discomfort is enough as it is. Just stay with that. In this episode I talk about self-worth, how the healing process ebbs and flows and how all we’re asked to do, is to just stay with ourselves with loving presence, to hold our own hand, as we walk through this crazy ride we call life. I just came off of a Brainspotting training and it was remarkable to experience and witness the body/brain’s ability to self heal. Just having someone to hold the space and be held by their sheer presence, was/is healing in and of itself. We have the ability to self heal but healing doesn’t happen on the surface. It’s not a snorkel trip but a deep sea dive. From a scientific perspective, healing doesn’t happen in the neocortex but in the subcortical brain or brainstem. Don’t under estimate the power of presence and being held in the container of love and when held there, your ability to self heal. I am merely the guide, the one who holds the torch to shine light upon the path back home to your true, Authentic Self. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar,Corinne www.corinneblum.com
The greatest journey you’ll ever take is 9 inches: from your head to your heart. In this episode I talk about our society’s over focus on the mind, how dropping into our heart and felt, emotional, experience and aligning our mind, heart and gut, is what brings us into wholeness, harmony and equilibrium. In an over-masculinised society (but unfortunately a wounded masculine), in a society that deifies the mind over all else, we’ve become fragmented versions of ourselves. We are innately whole. We are inherently collaborative and compassionate but we’ve been severed from our true Selves and true nature. The journey from head to heart, from fragment to wholeness, is the greatest journey we’ll ever embark upon.Tune in for more…Loving you from afar,Corinne
We all want love but we’re equally good at keeping love at bay because by nature, we are vulnerable beings and can easily feel hurt. To open up to love we have to look at our fear of love, the pain that drives it and the wound that created the hurt of our pain. In order to open up to love we have to hold our pain and give it love so that it can feel safe enough to open up to love. It’s often a process of holding sometimes contradictory feelings or experiences-the longing for love and the pushing it away because of the fear of how love may hurt us. In the end, it’s about creating an inner safety and power that we experience when we fully embrace our vulnerability and our entire human experience-which means loving our shadow too. So how do we open up to love? Listen to your fear, your pain and your unmet needs and pour love into them. Then you’ll be able to not just yearn for love but to invite it in and receive it when it does arrive. And if you’re in a relationship, you’d be surprised how even couples can withhold love and keep love and vulnerability at bay. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar,Corinne

We are in a powerful time of transition and that goes for us as individuals and as a collective. As we’re attuning and evolving, the shadow is coming to light and we’re recognising our true nature once more. But the path requires awareness. How do we move from victimisation into self-responsibility? Which leads us to self-empowerment and the full embodiment of our true nature. How do we move from the analytical mind into the heart? And how can creating equanimity between our left and right brain, act as a passageway to living in heart?I explore these questions and more in today’s podcast. I’ll leave you with one image before you tune in….I remember hearing about an indigenous elder that likened our society to a bird flying with only one wing. A bird with one wing cannot truly fly for there is no balance. It flies in circles, you could metaphorically say. This has been the consequence of living in a primarily left-brained, masculine (not divine masculine, however) society. We have lost one wing and we need to restore its counterpart: the divine feminine. To me, the divine masculine is presence and the divine feminine is heart. When the masculine is in true presence, the feminine feels safe enough, held enough, to open her heart. With presence and love it becomes a natural choice to walk the path of love. And it is my belief that in order to change the world and create the new world that awaits us through our creativity (as we are the makers of the new world), we must walk the path of love. This means stepping off the path of fear. Alchemising the victim into the self-responsible, mature, sovereign, adult archetype. Bringing equilibrium to our mind, calling back in the divine masculine and feminine, and dropping into our hearts. Loving you all from afar,Corinne
In this very non linear episode, I talk about the concept of letting go when it comes to the narratives, coping mechanisms, defences and blocks that keep us from receiving love. At the root of our coping mechanisms, or at the core of why we hold onto resentment, anger and blame, is fear. Love is deeply vulnerable and so fear inevitably arises within it because we don’t want to get hurt and feel pain. If we approach love unconsciously, we will be at the mercy of our triggers, fears and wounds. And if we don’t deal (lovingly) with our pain, it will surely come out sideways both within a relationship and most especially if/when we breakup from that relationship. Mental Health: the term has come up in more mainstream speak over the last several years and although I acknowledge and respect that having the term helps people de-stigmatise the taboo of therapy (which still exists in some countries and cultures), I want to talk about how staying in the realm of the mental, keeps us in the perspective of viewing ourselves as fragments vs a whole. It keeps us looking at the symptom vs the root cause, the superficial vs the profound, the mental vs the entirety of our human experience which includes the emotional, physical, energetic, spiritual, intuitive, instinctual…I think you get where I’m going with this. We are whole, expansive beings and when we get stuck focusing on just one part of our big and vast beings, we’re limiting our opportunity for true healing and transformation. We have to look at the whole and looking at the whole means that we have to go into the source of our pain and suffering rather than trying to logically or analytically figure out how to get rid of, or make better, the symptom of our experience. Healing happens when we go in and go in deep. It doesn’t happen on the surface and it certainly doesn’t happen when we only focus on resolving the symptoms. Your mental health is a part of your WHOLE health and often our mental state of being is a byproduct of—or at the very least simultaneously experienced vs preceding—our emotional and energetic experience. So from where I’m standing, to call it mental health and mental health alone, is far too limiting a term to encompass what is required for our true health and wellbeing…which requires that we sit with, hold, love and accept the entirety of our whole experience, on all levels.Tune in for more…You can listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or on my website. What does healing actually mean? There are so many modalities and what works for one might not work for another. But the angle I’m offering is that healing requires us to sit with our pain, and in a pain avoidant society/culture, this is sometimes a big ask. At the very least it’s something we need to learn, and be supported, to do more often. There is no circumventing our pain and though the prospect of sitting with it might be scary or uncomfortable for you, I have seen and felt myself that it often always leads to relief because what we’re finally doing, is acknowledging our own existence. We’re no longer pretending to be ok, or acting like someone else that might be deemed more acceptable to society. We get to be in our authentic truth and that is a very liberating and empowering feeling to reside within. You’re not going to fully heal until you pull the thorn out from your wound and pulling the thorn out requires that you go on a journey within yourself. We have to walk into the forrest where all the shadows that scare us are. We need to get to know them and become comfortable with them and recognise that what we were afraid of wasn’t our pain but the unknown, itself. Because once we get to know our pain we get to know ourselves, and once we get to know ourselves we feel less alone because we realise that when we connect to all the various parts of ourselves (like putting the pieces of the puzzle together or gluing the broken fragments of a vase back together again) we feel whole. Healing is a catalyst for growth. It’s an open door that invites you to get to know yourself better. It’s a journey and an awakening. It will require courage, which requires heart, but the journey will lead you to the state of peace you have been seeking. It will guide you back home. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar,Corinne
It all comes down to our inner child. How we get triggered, why we get defensive, the emotional reactions we find ourselves repeating. The core of our patterns and reactions is our wounding which is when the child within us felt hurt, abandoned, rejected, unloved etc. Doing the inner child work is what leads to our healing. It’s the most direct path but it’s a process that is experiential not conceptual. It doesn’t happen in the mind but in the body. And it takes time….It may seem like nothing is happening and you’re not getting anywhere but because it’s experiential, you have to move through the experience for the penny to eventually drop. It’s not something you can just read in a book and then shelf it, as a dear friend of mine said. You have to live it, embody it, practice it again and again and you will reach a marker when you can FEEL it and then it all of a sudden makes sense not just intellectually but experientially. And that’s when you’re whole life begin to change in a more visible way because now your patterns are conscious, you understand how to take care of yourself and you know that no matter what, you’re there for yourself and you can get through anything. It’s an ongoing journey of getting to know yourself more deeply, continually showing up for yourself with love, gentleness, patience, acceptance and kindness so that you begin to trust yourself and therefore feel safe within yourself. You are cultivating a lifelong long relationship until death do you part. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar,Corinne
I want to piggyback off of yesterday’s episode (Vulnerability, Stretching Beyond our Comfort Zone, Connecting to our Essence) and talk about perception. How we perceive ourselves, others and our experiences, creates the reality we live in. If our perception is not coming from a clear, as objective as possible, lens, we can paint a very different reality that is based on a false story and limited belief vs the truth that is before us. Basically, if we’re not perceiving things from a place of love, kindness towards ourselves and self-worth, we may create a lot of unnecessary suffering. The invitation is to be curious about how you perceive yourself and how that may differ from the feedback you’re receiving from others. And that goes both ways btw. I sang in front of an audience this past Saturday and I want to share my personal story about my experience; which involves vulnerability, stretching ourselves beyond our comfort zone and connecting to the essence of who we truly are. What makes all of that possible is allowing Love to be the container for our experience. Because love (self-love) said to me as I was nervous as all hell and wondering if I could really do this: “It’s ok, no matter what happens I’m here for you. I’ll support you, love you, accept you no matter what.” Love allowed me to exhale and be me. It encouraged me to be vulnerable, stretch myself beyond my comfort zone and allow the essence of who I am to come out and play and be free. I can’t tell you how enlivened it made me feel. It was food for my soul! Tune in for more…Loving you from afar,Corinne
I want to share what came through for me as I was meditating this morning and journaling just now. Every year a word spontaneously comes up for me as the theme of the year. Now I don’t really follow the calendar new year, but my birthday falls just after the new year so that’s probably where I draw the inspiration for this new cycle. This year my word is Love. Which seems so obvious because I talk about it a lot but something felt very specific about it. I want love to be the thread that weaves this year together. In this episode I will talk about love and what keeps us from being in a state of love. One thing I will say here as it seemed so important when I heard it in my mind (or my heart 😉) is that I know that love can be scary, and being in a state of love can also be confronting in a weird way, because it beckons us to let go of anything and everything that keeps us small and in our story of victimisation, hurt, wounding etc. But what I heard so clearly is that love requires courage and the heart is willing to be both courageous and loving. So do it! Live from love. Create from love. Be love. Tune in for more. Loving you from afar,Corinne
I will refer to this New Year as the calendar new year because if we follow the rhythms of nature, the true new year would be the Spring equinox. Based on that, I want to talk about how sometimes resolutions become more of a pressure and expectation that we end up falling short of, and which therefore leaves us feeling rather shitty, rather than setting intentions that truly support our growth. Also, if we’re not in tune or in harmony with the rhythms of nature, we might be expecting ourselves to do something which the energy simply isn’t there to support us in, because this is a time of gestation. We are planting seeds that will emerge into the world in Spring when life rebirths itself, but for now, the attention is really on creating nourishing soil for the those seeds to eventually grow out of. It’s an inward time. A more yin rather than yang energy. So this podcast is an invitation to tune into yourself and really take care and pay attention to your deeper needs. Just because something is done a certain way in society doesn’t mean it’s right for you or that it’s right in general. Listen to you! The guidance you need is there. What are our associations with love? Why do we associate pain with love?Do we mix up attachment and love, or various feelings and emotions that we’re experiencing, with love?In this podcast I dive into the essence of love and all the various aspects that we associate with love and how we sometimes get them all tangled up. I also talk about how to be the source of love as well as how pain acts as a catalyst to breakdown the barriers of our heart which aren’t really protecting us but keeping us out of our own inner home. In our society, December is one of the busiest months. There’s shopping, social events (that include lots of sugar and alcohol), family get-togethers (which for some are stressful) travel etc. It’s busy! But if we look at nature, everything is slowing down. It’s the darkest time of the year and therefore a very inward time of year. What society is doing, is in complete opposition to what nature is doing. But we are nature. We’re not separate from it. So part of taking care of ourselves, is paying attention to what is going on in nature as a reflection of our inner nature. Or you could say it the other way around as really they are one and the same. Taking care of ourselves is about attuning to our needs, cycles, rhythms…It’s about listening in and paying attention and ultimately giving ourselves what we need. It’s about building a relationship with ourselves that is full of love, care, commitment and trust. Tune in for more…Loving you from afar, Corinne
I wish I could give you a formula but really, to me, the practice of giving ourselves love is more of an experience.
Firstly, it’s a practice and what any practice requires is consistency.
Second, loving ourselves is an act of generosity: it’s self-giving.
We are learning how to give ourselves love by showing up consistently (so that we can build trust), accepting our entire experience and self (letting go of judgment) and through showing up consistently and accepting ourselves, we begin to naturally love ourselves.
The obstacles will be our limiting beliefs (I’m not worthy, good enough, loveable enough. I’m rejected, abandoned. I don’t belong etc) but the obstacle is the way. It’s the portal in to your deeper self and when you arrive there and recognise that all you’re really needing is your own loving attention (just like you crave from a partner or parent), loving yourself simply becomes the daily practice of being present with your experience without judgment.
If judgment arises, then get curious. Be the adult, the parent you wish you’d had, the partner you’re longing to have.
Whatever it is that you’re seeking outside of yourself, give that to yourself, first. Be the adult that will make the choice to take care of these parts of you that need your loving attention.

What is the shadow? Why do we avoid it? And why does it run our lives until we make it conscious?
In this episode of Raw Conversations with Corinne Blum, we’ll look at these three questions and why doing the shadow work is so important for our happiness and well being.
A preview into this episode:
The shadow isn’t the sum of all the “negative,” bad parts of who you are and should aim to get rid of. The shadow simply represents all the parts of you that you don’t want to look at because they are the parts of you that hurt.
We don’t often want to look at our discomfort because, well, it can be painful, scary, vulnerable and often feel shameful and that’s why we avoid our shadow.
But the shadow isn’t something to push away. It is something to walk towards with curiosity and compassion for it holds the key to our transformation and happiness.
By accepting our shadow as a scared, hurt part of us that simply needs our loving attention, we have the opportunity to transmute our pain and fear into a comforting sense of true self-acceptance and love-from the inside out.
Ultimately, by embracing our shadow and accepting our entire selves, we are cultivating a healthy relationship with ourselves; creating a bond and an inner trust that runs so deep within ourselves, that we never truly feel alone or unloved again.
Loving you from afar, Corinne
Struggle is an invitation to go deeper within ourselves. It forces us to dive beyond the surface, our coping mechanisms and habitual behaviour, down into who we truly are in our essence.
There is always a point of tension in life. Not because life, or the universe, or whatever else you may believe in, is punishing you, but because that point of tension invites us all to keep growing.
When we reframe what struggle is, it transforms our life from something that happens to us, into something that is working with us as a means to explore ourselves more fully.
And why do we explore ourselves? Because in that exploration we discover who we truly are and it is in our true essence that we find home.

Society has taught us that our worth is measured by what we do, how productive or successful we are.
If our worth is measured by what we do and not by who we inherently are, self-care becomes really hard because if you rest, you’re considered lazy or unworthy.
We’re called selfish if we take time for ourselves but rest is vital for our wellbeing.
What would it be like if you reframed everything? If your worth wasn’t based on your productivity but that who you innately are is already good enough? What if taking care of yourself was an act of generosity? Can we redefine taking care of ourselves not as selfish but as self-giving or self-generous?
In this episode I explore how our worth gets mixed up in what we do and why we don’t rest or take care of ourselves when our worth seemingly hinges on our productivity.

We’ve heard a lot of language re awakening and much of it is believed to be a beautiful thing. But what about the trauma of awakening? Sometimes truth is harsh, right?
I want to start a conversation and a space to support this, at times, hugely challenging transition.
Whether you feel you don’t belong in this world, you don’t know how to be here, or are frustrated with not knowing how to make this world a more beautiful place to exist within, you’re not alone.
If this podcast resonates with you, would you be willing to drop me a line? In this way I can work on creating a support system so we can be held through the challenges of being aware (or awake) in a challenging transitional time for humanity.

We’ve been told that the darkness is scary, that the shadow is bad, and that pain is something to avoid. But what we’re doing when we run away from our own shadow, is we’re running away from our ability to truly receive love.
In the dark is where we find light. In the pain is where we find healing. In staying with our entire experience, is where we find love.
We’re living in crazy times. In times that are requiring so much courage and courage requires care.
“The love you withhold is the pain that you carry.” - Alex Collier
The one fundamental thing we all need in life is love. The irony, however, is that the very thing we need—love—is often the thing we walk away from. Because we get scared. We’re afraid of pain and suffering so instead of walking towards love (and therefore towards ourselves), we walk away from ourselves. And then we wonder why we’re so often lost and confused: it’s because the very thing we need, we withhold from ourselves.
This is an invitation to walk towards yourself. To embrace your pain and your fear and alchemise them into love.
Now, more than ever, we are being required to do this. In an age of distraction, we are being pulled further and further away from ourselves and we’re suffering for it.
Turn towards yourself and come back home to love.
There you will find all you’ve been seeking because everything you’ve been looking for has always been right here.
The answers aren’t out there, they’re in here. Authority isn’t outside of yourself, it’s inside yourself.
We can support one another but it all has to come from within ourselves; much like a seed can’t be planted in thin air, it has to be placed deep into the soil in order for it to grow. We are no different.
Everything you resist is what you need to give attention to. Everything you yearn for from the external, is what you need to give to yourself on the inside.
This is a firm yet loving invitation, to come back home to love.

Yesterday I spoke about don’t “fuck the pain away.” Today I’m talking about how to actually do that in practice not in theory.
We don’t stay with discomfort because we’ve been taught to distract. We also don’t stay because we’re continually being told we’re not good enough as we are. So why then would we want to stay with ourselves if what we’d find beneath the surface is so flawed?
But that’s a false story.
Staying with discomfort is uncomfortable, yes. But if we can stay with it for even just three breaths before consciously moving onto something else, we not only create a moment of relief for ourselves, but we are creating just enough space between what we feel and what we do in reaction to that feeling, to make a choice. And when we can consciously make a choice with the understanding of what motivates our actions, well, then, we’re finally engaged with life. Life happens through and with us vs to us.
I explain this and more in this episode. I speak about staying with the discomfort, awareness, noticing our motivations and intentions for what we do and how to stay in the present vs getting caught in the story of the past or the projection of the future.
This and more...

Don’t “fuck the pain away” no matter how much our society encourages us to. No matter how much it lures us into distraction, numbing and the constant pursuit of happiness.
Don’t “fuck the pain away,” because all that does is keep us in a relentless loop of dissatisfaction. The very thing we’re running away from, we’re producing.
Avoiding pain doesn’t make it go away, it only keeps the chase forever going and one day, you will burn out.
The only way out is through. And pain, like any other emotion, is simply a messenger alerting us to our human experience.
Emotions are useful. They help us to understand the language of who we are.
And on a deeper level, they’re an indication of something within us that just needs our loving attention.
So don’t run, stay. Don’t numb, feel.
Give yourself the loving attention you deserve. It’s hard, I know. It’s painful, I know. But you deserve to find and embody the very thing you’ve been seeking: peace. Not happiness but peace.
Peace that shows you it’s ok to be who you are. To feel how you feel. Think what you think. There’s no more running. The chase ends.
But it requires courage and courage requires heart and heart requires vulnerability and vulnerability requires presence and presence just asks us to stay long enough to be aware of what is going on within and around us.

I get asked all the time by clients if doing the work, “works.” Does anything change? Does it get better?
I was laughing with a best friend of mine recently, asking ourselves the same question: does the work ever end?! Because it feels like a bottomless, never ending, pit sometimes.
I can say that yes, the work is so worth it because the true liberation we’re seeking, the “happiness,” the peace, only comes from the inside out.
So if you’ve been doing the work, take a moment to reflect and see how far you’ve come. And if you’re in the midst of it (because, truly, it is forever evolving) than know that it is worth it. It may be hard. It may be scary. But it is so, damn, worth it.

‘The power of the mind’ might sound like a cliche but our thoughts have a profound affect on us. We can imagine a situation that isn’t even real and it can trigger an entire emotional and physical reaction in our body. I give an example of just this, in this episode.
We’ve all heard of ‘be careful of what you think/wish for because you might just attract that,’ and many schools of thought like law of attraction would encourage you to stay positive because negativity attracts negativity. But I would describe it less as what we attract and more of what we see.
If we only see that life is crap, then life will be crap 24/7. Of course there is crap in the world, but it’s not ALL crap. We can acknowledge its existence and we can also choose to see the beauty in the world as well.
My point is our perspective paints our reality. What we believe is what we see and when we get to know the language of ourselves more deeply, we recognise when we’re going into imagination. Into a projection rather than what is actually real, here in this moment.
This and more in this episode on the power of the mind and how our thoughts affect our emotions and physical body.
Take it or leave it as always.
Loving you from afar, Corinne Ps. Sorry for all the funny mic noises. I also want to correct the word “weird” for “interesting” when relaying the story at the beginning. The word “weird” can hold judgment and I had no judgment but intrigue, instead. I just wanted to clarify that. Thanks.
Being the expression of You.
Living in an Instagram society lends itself to comparison and competition. We’re measuring ourselves and our lives to something that often isn’t even real or true to life (with filters) or we’re only getting a snapshot of a moment which we weren’t even physically present for (sans filters) which means that however we feel about that snapshot, is a complete projection.
What if we were to celebrate our uniqueness? That even though we could say we all come from the same source, we are a unique expression of that source.
What if it was ok to be you? To stop focusing on what you’re lacking by comparison, by an external measure, and focus instead on your unique expression of existence.
What is it that you want to experience? What do you have to offer? How can you be of service? Contribute?
Maybe our homogenised culture isn’t really serving us. Maybe celebrating diversity would bring back a greater sense of collaboration rather than competition. Maybe we’d stop pointing the finger, telling others how they “should” live their lives and come back home to ourselves instead, and see what we want to give to the whole.
It’s an invitation to ask ourselves: Who am I? What has meaning to me?
It’s an opportunity to just be you.
What is it about loss and grief, about death, that makes us feel alone?
It’s the loss of the love we felt. The physical form we attached that love to. It triggers our fear of being alone. Our wounds. Our need for healthy attachment amidst a world that has told us to be independent from the moment we popped out of the womb.
We’ve been taught and told to not feel, don’t cry, be strong, toughen up. And yet we feel more lonely. More co-dependent. More insecure.
Today I invite you to stay. Just stay with your pain. Your loss. Your grief. Because we’re all going through a huge death right now. We’re losing our reality, our normal, the way life once was. We’re losing those we love be it through death or differing opinions. The polarisation is extreme.
But what if you could stay with the ache of it all. Stay. Breathe. Feel. And return to love.
Because love is who we are. It’s what we’re made of and when we tap into all that we believe to be empty, the space around us, we recognise that it is full. That it is holding us. That we are never truly alone.
With love, Corinne
We all have a story. We all have experienced a version of suffering, pain, trauma yet we don’t often talk about it because we’ve been taught that all those “negative” things are something to be ashamed of. And too, it’s vulnerable. We live in a culture that has conditioned us to believe that all hard emotions are negative and that pain or trauma is something to be ashamed of. We’ve been taught to always be happy and positive and successful. But are we really happy? Are we really free? It’s my belief and experience that when we learn to own our experiences with love and full acceptance, naming the shame and actually coming towards ourselves rather than trying to “get rid” of parts of ourselves, pretending they don’t exist (which only deepens our shame), we feel fully liberated. Because when we own our entire experience and humanity within ourselves, we feel relief, empowerment, wholeness and safety. And when we feel safe within ourselves, sharing our vulnerability—or just our humanity, to be honest—becomes an empowering act. It becomes liberating. I share a bit of my story today just to open the door for you to perhaps know that there is no shame in your story either. That all things can be healed and transformed if we hold them with love. There’s nothing wrong with you. There never was. Life happens and sometimes it hurts. However, it offers us the opportunity to discover who we truly are beneath the many layers of who we think we should be. May this be an invitation for you to begin the conversation with yourself, someone you love, someone you trust. *I want to add that in doing the healing work, I’m not insinuating that we need to relive our trauma. I’m sayinginstead that the act of holding our wounded parts with love, without getting into the story of it, is what I’ve found to be the fastest route to healing. It’s about giving ourselves loving attention. It’s about holding ourselves instead of rejecting or abandoning these parts of ourselves that maybe we don’t like. It’s about walking towards rather than away. The simple act of showing up for ourselves with love vs judgment, is life changing.
I think we all have an idea of what our life “should” be like. We get asked the question, “What will you do when you grow up?” when we’re, like, 4 years old. And so we learn to measure ourselves by what we do and we feel like failures if what we “do,” isn’t hugely successful. Somewhere along the way we create this expectation that we need to have it all figured out by the time we’re 25 and that the path there should be linear and easy. And then Life happens...The only thing is, nobody prepared us for what life is REALLY like.
What I see most working with both couples and individuals, is that we take things personal. We get triggered. We react. We argue. We get hurt. And then we repeat and repeat again. Today I talk about what it looks like to not take things personal and the positive affects that arise when we tend to our own stuff first, so that we can meet each other at the table and show up from our vulnerable, authentic selves. When we don’t take things personal, and when we can drop into a more transparent, vulnerable state of being and get to the real stuff beneath the surface, we are able to build a bridge between each other and create connection and deeply fulfilling love.
Today I’m diving into the topic of fear and how if we can embrace it, it acts as a catalyst for growth and as a pathway that brings us closer towards ourselves. Fear isn’t the enemy, it’s the messenger often coming from the little girl or boy within us that is simply needing our loving attention.
In this intro episode, I’m diving into the deep end and putting out a rough cut of my new podcast series: Raw Conversations. Today I’m just touching the surface on perfection, being human, being in relationship and softening into our vulnerability. I’ll dive deeper into these topics and more. If you want to ask a question or suggest a topic for me to talk about in this series, please leave a comment. My desire is for this to be an ongoing conversation on what it’s really like to be human. Not what we should look like, how we should act, or “should” anything...but what it’s really like to be in this strange and beautiful experience of being human.
