Bukasyon Podcast is about conversations about vocation or calling. Our primary call is to be holy. Yes we are called to be holy. We can respond to this call through the states of life where we can be holy be it in priesthood, religious life, single blessedness and married life. This podcast is about a door that is always open, open to Gods possibilities for your life. Bukasyon means the "bukas `yon" the door is always open for you to enter and respond to His call. It is a passage that is always open and when you leave that door it is always there open for you.
May impact ka ba?
In this episode, we focus in making a difference in life in all aspects of your life. Making difference does not take so much from us but rather acknowledging that the little things we do will impact others. We always seem to think that we are insignificant band do not contribute something to the greater part. Mahalaga ka. Our significance is realized once we learn to become not just a hero but a hero maker to someone.
Is there a Diocesan Religious???
Fr. James` story is a mix of being a diocesan priest with a spirituality of a religious as a Third Order Carmelite. An inspiring story of vocation within a vocation. As a liturgist, he loves making every celebration of the Holy Eucharist very special that he finds joy when people are participating and singing during the Mass. The Ars Celebrandi is the fruit of faithful adherence to the liturgical norms in all their richness; indeed, for two thousand years this way of celebrating has sustained the faith life of all believers, called to take part in the celebration as the People of God, a royal priesthood, a holy nation (cf. 1 Pet 2:4-5, 9). Pope Benedict XVI, Sacramentum Caritatis He is now serving as a Deliverance Minister doing the minor exorcism which every priest has a faculty.

Is there a Diocesan Religious???
What is a diocesan priest?
Secular—or better, diocesan—priests are priests who are ordained for a particular diocese and who serve ordinarily in parishes. This is their main work, although some are engaged in other ministries as well. At their ordination as deacons they incardinate (affiliate) with a particular diocese or archdiocese. At this time they make a promise to obey their bishop and, in the Western Church, to remain celibate.
What is a religious priest?
Religious priests are not necessarily more spiritual than diocesan priests. The word refers in this case to the form of life these priests live. All men and women who make public vows in a religious order are called religious. It means that by their vows of poverty, celibate chastity, and obedience, their lives are oriented in a special way to the virtue of religion so that all they do becomes a continual act of the worship of God.

She was a former agnostic who found her way back home to Catholic faith and now serving in the parish and at the crossroads discerning what state of life God is calling her.
It`s never too late to turn to God.
You may be thinking all along that you are looking for Him but He instead found you.
