Dr. Richard Spaulding discuss relattionships and how complex they can be.  Complexity characterises the behaviour of a system or model whose components interact in multiple ways and follow local rules, meaning there is no reasonable higher instruction to define the various possible interactions.[1]

The stem of the word "complexity" - complex - combines the Latin roots com (meaning "together") and plex (meaning "woven"). Contrast "complicated" where plic (meaning "folded") refers to many layers. A complex system is thereby characterised by its inter-dependencies, whereas a complicated system is characterised by its layers.

Complexity is generally used to characterize something with many parts where those parts interact with each other in multiple ways, culminating in a higher order of emergence greater than the sum of its parts. Just as there is no absolute definition of "intelligence", there is no absolute definition of "complexity"; the only consensus among researchers is that there is no agreement about the specific definition of complexity. However, "a characterization of what is complex is possible".[2]

Means “ascribing worth to a person or object.” When we “worship” God, we are saying “God is worthy of all my love, my attention and my devotion. He is worthy to receive all that I can give Him.

exclusive interview with author Trayce Crosland.  Pain happens.

From a logical point of view, it would seem that God would reward those who do good with less pain. Certainly it would seem that God would give those in Christian ministry a free pass from pain. After all, missionaries, church planters and pastors work for God! Wouldn’t it be a good idea, when it would be in your power, to take special care of those who work for you?

Dr. Richard Spaulding and panel of men will discuss Preparing for the future:   Dr. Delmar Hannah, Bishop Charles Mitchell and Pastor Tony StephensThe role of the values, mission, strategy, and objectives in the succession plan of the church

How can a succession-planning program be implemented in the church? A process is necessary to avoid shooting in the dark. The church leadership must begin with its values statement (Well 2003). What does the church hold as non-negotiable (Charan 2005)? What does it firmly believe? From the church’s carefully thought-out values comes a well-honed mission statement. If no such statement exists, then one must be developed. These two documents are primary. They must be thoroughly biblical and have the broad support not only of the church leadership but also of the church body. Ideally these statements should be a product of as many adherents as possible. Out of the values statement and the mission statement flow the strategy and objectives of the church for the both short- and long-term. Finally, and only if the strategy and objectives are clearly stated can the job description of the pastor, and the necessary qualities and skills he must possess, be ascertained.

Special Guest Couple: Tracey & Randolph Simmons.    Many have questions of what marriage is or is not. This coup0le will tell the ups and downs one can encounter in marriage.  Scripture is clear about marriage being a holy and divinely established covenant. It is equally clear about our obligation to honor and obey the laws of our earthly governments, which are also divinely established authorities.  It's interesting to carefully consider the traditional Jewish wedding ceremony and the "Ketubah" or marriage contract, which is read in the original Aramaic language. The husband accepts certain marital responsibilities, such as the provision of food, shelter, and clothing for his wife, and promises to care for her emotional needs as well.  For Christians, marriage goes beyond the earthly covenant also, as a divine picture of the relationship between. It is a spiritual representation of our relationship with God.

Dr. Richard L. Spaulding, host of Men in the 21st Century.  Joined by a panel of guest Pastor Delmar Hannah, Bishop Charles Mitchell, Sr., and Pastor Tony Stephens.  Manly men are confident men. People are attracted to men who project confidence. Sadly, many men these days lack any confidence at all. Some mope around with their head down, wallowing in self pity. Others confuse manly confidence with boyish cockiness. Set goals and meet them. Confident men make goals and keep them. Goals are promises we make to ourselves. How can you have confidence in yourself if you can’t keep a promise to yourself? Start making and keeping goals today by setting one goal that you can accomplish today and do it.

Guest Interview with Angela Jones-Williams an enterprenuer. People who lack self-confidence can find it difficult to become successful. A person with self-confidence generally likes themselves, is willing to take risks to achieve their personal and professional goals, and thinks positively about the future.[2] Someone who lacks self-confidence, however, is less likely to feel that they can achieve their goals, and tends to have a negative perspective about themselves and what they hope to gain in life.[3] The good news is that self-confidence is something you can improve! Building self-confidence requires you to cultivate a positive attitude about yourself and your social interactions, while also learning to deal with any negative emotions that arise and practicing greater self-care. You should learn to set goals and take risks, as well, since meeting challenges can further improve your self-confidence.

Therefore, when an individual is stressed, they may experience memory loss, confusion and lack of concentration. Many a times, these signs are not taken seriously and are passed off as general carelessness or laziness.

She can be likened to the virtuous woman in Prov. 31, who was an entrepreneur (v.24) and who was confident in her area of business (v.18). Historic findings indicate that the sale of purple cloth was of great economic importance in that day. Her choice of profession yielded her great gain and fame. Yet her conversion to Christianity singled her out among many other women as she became the first convert in Europe. It was through her God opened the door for the ministry in the region.

Rizpah - coal; hot stone, the daughter of Aiah, and one of Saul's concubines. She was the mother of Armoni and Mephibosheth ( 2 Samuel 3:7 ; 2 Samuel 21:82 Samuel 21:102 Samuel 21:11 ).

It happened that a grievous famine, which lasted for three years, fell upon the land during the earlier half of David's reign at Jerusalem. This calamity was sent "for Saul and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites." David inquired of the Gibeonites what satisfaction they demanded, and was answered that nothing would compensate for the wrong Saul had done to them but the death of seven of Saul's sons. David accordingly delivered up to them the two sons of Rizpah and five of the sons of Merab (q.v.), Saul's eldest daughter, whom she bore to Adriel. These the Gibeonites put to death, and hung up their bodies before the Lord at the sanctuary at Gibeah. Rizpah thereupon took her place on the rock of Gibeah (q.v.), and for five months watched the suspended bodies of her children, to prevent them from being devoured by the beasts and birds of prey, till they were at length taken down and buried by David.

Her marriage to Abner was the occasion of a quarrel between him and Ishbosheth, which led to Abner's going over to the side of David ( 2 Samuel 3:17-21 ).

Domestic violence should not happen to anybody. Ever. Period. But it does - and when it does, there is help. Maybe you have lived with abuse, maybe it happened just once; maybe you work or live next to someone who is being abused right now.  Domestic violence is an epidemic affecting individuals in every community, regardless of age, economic status, sexual orientation, gender, race, religion, or nationality. It is often accompanied by emotionally abusive and controlling behavior that is only a fraction of a systematic pattern of dominance and control. Domestic violence can result in physical injury, psychological trauma, and in severe cases, even death. The devastating physical, emotional, and psychological consequences of domestic violence can cross generations and last a lifetime.

Five praying women will be guests on A Godly Womans View; host XoPastor Anita C. Spaulding; Missionary Caroline Smith McGhee, Elder Sandra Hargrove; CoPastor Robin Mitchell; Pastor Tawanna T. Thomas

What is prayer? Prayer is faith in God..  Prayer is not having faith in faith and nor is it having faith in prayer it is having faith in God.  “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6  Faith in God is faith in his existence and faith in his character.

The only thing I need to pray is faith in God.

Whenever the Devil hears that prayer may be happening he fights back. He fights back because he fears prayer and praying people. He’s number one goal in your life and mine is to kill prayer. The way He kills prayer is by presenting us with other alternatives. He does not care what that alternative is as long as there is no time for prayer.

“Satan knows that prayer spells his defeat. He’ll fight you more to keep you from praying than any other thing you do. Sometimes, he will even encourage you to other specific activities because he knows how fruitless they are.”

What will prayer do? (V23-26)

1.It will move mountains

“I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.”

o one wants to be rejected, but it happens. Rejection comes at work when you are passed over for a promotion you were hoping to get, laid off from your position, or fired. Rejection comes when you ask a friend to go to a movie and she must bow out for some reason. Rejections are a way of life for writers, artists, and those who pursue an artistic existence. Dating rejection may be the most difficult rejection to bear. When someone breaks up with you or never calls after a first or second date, he is rejecting you as a person, not your job, not your art, just you and that hurts.

It has been said, "Feed your faith and your doubts will starve to death." F.F. Bosworth, a great faith preacher some years ago, said that most Christians feed their bodies three hot meals a day, their spirits one cold snack a week, and then wonder why they are so weak in faith!

Success is not a one-sided deal, as if God would lead you to a tree that has dollar notes hanging from it, or as if God would tip a bucket of blessing out upon you. Success is a divine-human reciprocity, which means that both God and you have a part to play. God's part is guaranteed when you do your part, and one of the secrets you must apply is to Feed Your Faith, and starve your doubts!

Join CoPastor Anita C Spaulding, Pastora Marilyn Ramas, and Felicia Marvin for another exciting episode of a Bingual talk show. Ruth is the story of everyday people coping with the problems that life throws at them. When Naomi went into Moab, by her own testimony, she went in full, Ruth 1:21. When she came out, she came out empty. All of her hopes, all of her dreams and all of her to morrows were reduced to three tombstones in a washpot called Moab. When she left that country she left everything she valued behind. When you go to Moab, you always leave something! Naomi left three tombstones in her Moab, what will you leave behind? Will you leave you testimony? Will you leave you innocence? Will you leave your health? Will you leave your wealth? Will you leave you family? What will your journey away from God cost you? Whatever it is, it will cost less to come home today than it will if you wait to a later date. You will leave less behind if you come now than if you wait until later. God can salvage more from your life now than He can if you linger in that polluted country.

a. Heaven is aware of the issues affecting the people of God. But, until a cry goes out from the people of God, the hands of Heaven are tied.

b. Without a cry, we show we are satisfied or content with the way things are.

c. The oppression had been going on for 20 years. How long do we put up with things before we cry out for change?

PRAYER A THON with special guests Evangelist Monica Wilcox, First Lady Dianna Flagg, Evg. Carolyn Harrell, Ev. Debra Searvance, Pastor Vanessa Bohler,  Executive Pastor Vanessa Cummins, Qualatta Pittman, .  When you pray, believe that you receive and you shall have.  The first and most important step for getting answers to your prayers is this: Find scriptures that definitely promise you the specific thing you are praying for.

When people say that they're praying for something, I like to ask, "What scripture or scriptures are you standing on in order to get what you are asking?" Often, people answer, "Well, nothing in particular." Well, that's what they'll get, Nothing in particular

Jesus says, "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you" (John 15:7). Notice that Jesus began this promise with a little word called "if". The word "if" is a little word with consequences. The word "if" means that this promise for answered prayer is conditional upon something. What is it? Jesus says that you can ask whatever you wish, so long as "my words remain in you."

You must have God's word abiding in you if you expect an answer to your prayer. Often Christians pray for something, such as healing, yet they don't have any promise from God abiding in them which guarantees that God will answer.

God has made many promises to heal you. What you need to do is find those promises and meditate on them until they become real to you. By doing this, you will be able to fight doubt when your healing doesn't manifest immediately.

You see if you pray for healing and do not know God's promises to heal you, when the symptoms persist, you'll begin to doubt that the answer is coming. Once you doubt, the answer is cancelled.

SPECIAL GUEST INTERVIEW WITH APOSTLE IDELLA MCINTRYE  AUTHOR "IS CHURCH KILLING YOU"? Have you been hurt in church? What are you supposed to do? How do you handle it? Leave the church? Confront the issue? Bury it? Lash out at the person who hurt you? When people are hurt by a church or church member, how can this conflict be resolved? What does this Bible say about this and how do you practically walk that out?  The bottom line is this: It doesn’t matter how wrong your offender is, you have to forgive. Forgiveness is not for the other person—it’s for you. Forgiveness doesn’t justify what someone did that was wrong, nor does it necessarily mean that the relationship goes right back to where it was.

The importance of the woman's vote.  Women had to fight for their rights because for the first 150 years American "democracy" actually included half of the population, many academics and historians have chosen to ignore, discount, marginalize, ridicule and/or dismiss the entire 72-year, nationwide, successful suffrage movement.

Women are 52% of the voters, but far less than that in Congress. The power of the vote is dynamic and reflects the hard work of so many people that have marched, protested and lost their lives for change, for justice. The strength of women and the confidence in them from voters show that sexism, racism and classism should have no place in American elections. WOMEN VOTE! has one of the best success rates in the business

Nehemiah said: 18 I also told them about the gracious hand of my God upon me and what the king had said to me.

They replied, "Let us start rebuilding." So they began this good work.  Parents pass the torch to their children. When someone retires from a job, they pass the torch to the person that takes on their job. In the church, we pass the torch from one generation to the next. (At least, any congregation that survives and thrives must pass the torch on from one generation to another.)

what should i do when everything sems to be going hay wire.  Your back is up agains the wall.  What is the use might say in living.   Life is an ever changing mix of good times, and bad times, and in the mix we take our eyes off of God.  n a more serious note, things can go wrong in this life in some really tragic ways. We can lose a friend or loved one to death, or someone we know may lose a person to divorce, or people may be disabled by emotional trauma or depression. Part of life is times when things go wrong. In the Old Testament there is a man named Job who had some similar times of everything going wrong.

godly woman is a precious and priceless gift of God. A woman shapes the way people speak, behave and even influence others. What makes a woman influential in a lasting and God honouring way is not her position, education, personality or background. The basis of her lasting influence is her character (Prov. 31:10-31).  A godly woman is the best kind of woman to have around. Proverbs 31:30 says, “charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised”. A godly woman is a woman who knows God and fears Him. To fear God means to reverence and respect Him. If we could all grasp the importance of fearing God, this would sort out a lot of divisive quarrels. What kind of influence does a godly and God fearing woman have? A godly woman can influence the direction of an entire nation. Her influence begins in the home and then permeates throughout the life of the church and ultimately society. As a mother shapes the character of her children, they will grow up with an understanding and worldview that was primarily influenced by her. In this post we will observe three key areas in which a woman can have a powerful influence.

They were to “adorn themselves in modest apparel” – The word “adorn” gives us the word “cosmetic”. It has the idea of “putting something in order, or to make ready.” The thought here is that women are to arrange themselves appropriately when they come to church.

“Modest apparel” has the idea of “proper clothing”. Women are called on here to come to church dressed to meet the Lord. In other words, they were to prepare themselves for worship. They were to remember where they were going, what they were doing and they were to come to church with the right attire and the right attitude.  Women are to think about how their attire affects others. The godly woman should feel shame and guilt if her attire distracts others from worship, or if their attire sparked a lustful thought in someone else. The whole point here is that a woman should dress in such a fashion that she does not call attention to herself, or to her body. That is true both within and without the church.

Pastora Marilyn Ramos will be discussing: Women often endure daily, stressful situations, commonly involving husbands, boyfriends and men in general. The discovery of a cheating partner is a heartbreaking example, in which women too frequently blame the “other woman,” not the cheater. The situation sometimes escalates between women, possibly leading to verbal and physical altercations. Jealously and emotional pain are the transcendent causes for this grotesque behavior.  Instead of maturely dealing with their own problems, insecure women may feel the urge to compete with each other. Such competition usually involves physical appearance, with intentions to gain false confidence and feelings of worth.

We need a FERVENT prayer! Fervent (ektene¯s - ek-ten-ace') {G} intent: without ceasing. (it carries the idea of praying with urgency!) This is the type of praying the church needs today! James says in his epistle… The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16) - Our prayers must be Intentional and Intense and we also see that: Join together on behalf of your brothers and sisters in Christ and don’t forget your pastor!! (I will take all I can get) The beauty in this prayer is the intimacy and unity of the church. They were all together in one accord bowing humbly before God and making their request known! They offered their prayers and God heard them and moved in GREAT POWER!!!

It takes work and persistence but if you constantly tell yourself to ‘stop it’  you are building a positive habit that will change your life for the better. Whether it’s the jerk who cut you off in traffic or something a little closer to home, don’t give yourself the luxury of a negative thought.

SPECIAL INTERVIEWKM GWEN GARCIA and DINELL BOOKER

Whatever discouragements that you are facing today, you should not stop believing on God. You should not let your discouragement defeat you but rather, you should overcome your discouragement for the glory of God.

Discouragement is one of the best tools of the enemy to defeat us. All of us even the most gifted and strong men of God experienced discouragement from time to time. Nehemiah, one of the best leaders and motivators of all time taught us how to battle discouragement.

There is not a one of us that doesn't sometimes resemble a beast, and there is not a one of us who does not struggle with the curse behind it.  The point is that there are times in our lives when we are the beasts. And there are times in our lives when we are so cursed that we cannot comprehend anyone's pain or anyone's problems but our own. The good news is that those curses can be broken.

  1. Believe that God will answer you.

Doubting God’s will to answer you will produce no result no matter how long you pray and cry to Him. God says in 3 John 2 that He wishes above all things that we prosper and be health, even as our souls prosper. So, you must believe that He will answer you to get results.

  1. You need to know and meditate on what God says about that issue you want to pray about.

This will strengthen your faith in God and His willingness to answer you. The Word of God concerning that issue will become very real to you. Also, it will drive away any form of fear, doubt or unbelief that will try to stop you from receiving your answers.

Joshua was told to destroy all the inhabitants of the land, but there were areas where he compromised and allowed ome to stay on and work as slaves. For Israel to be truly called the Promised Land, Joshua had to destroy every foreign inhabitant in order to declare true victory.  But somewhere along the way, he compromised and allowed some of them to stay and because of his compromise thousands of years ago, there is a Middle East conflict around Israel today.

In our fast paced society we often want everything done quickly or your boss wants it done yesterday. In your spiritual life are you a Microwave or Crock Pot? I think often we want God to answer our prayers in Microwave fashion. I prayed a specific request today and I want it answered today. If our prayers are not answered quickly, we often wonder, "What is God doing?" We also decide to go it on our own and not wait for God's direction. Often it is difficult to wait on God's timing.

When we are in Crock pot mode we pray and rest in the knowledge that God's timing is best. Often, God may have to let several things simmer in our life before he answers our prayer. Many times in my life I have seen God's handiwork after the situation is over. If God had answered my prayer the way I wanted him to, it would not have gone well at all. God knows what is best for us and when it is best for something to happen.

Where Is God in Difficult Times?

That doesn't mean that those who know God will escape difficult times. They won't. When a terrorist attack causes suffering and death, those who know God will be involved in that suffering also. But there is a peace and a strength that God's presence gives. One follower of Jesus Christ put it this way: "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."4 Reality tells us that we will experience problems in life. However, if we go through them while knowing God, we can react to them with a different perspective and with a strength that is not our own. No problem has the capacity to be insurmountable to God. He is bigger than all the problems that can hit us, and we are not left alone to deal with them.

One of the questions I often get is “what is a Woman’s purpose?” “What are we supposed to DO with our lives?” “What are we here for?” “What is a feminine woman’s life purpose?” “How do I find my life purpose?”

Although every woman’s personal life purpose will be different, a woman’s true life purpose in general, really is to create and not destroy. It’s to live your passion so that you can be an example to others. It’s to find fulfillment, and to seek growth and contribution

We women need to discover our purpose in life for two reasons. First, fulfilling our purpose gives glory to God. Second, it releases us from the captivity of hopelessness and despair.

“You can never become a great man or woman until you have overcome anxiety, worry, and fear. It is impossible for an anxious person, a worried one, or a fearful one to perceive truth; all things are distorted and thrown out of their proper relations by such mental states, and those who are in them cannot read the thoughts of God.” ~ Wallace D. The difference between deliverance and spiritual warfare is that deliverance is dealing with demonic bondage's, and getting a person set free, whereas spiritual warfare is resisting, overcoming and defeating the enemy's lies (in the form of deception, temptations and accusations) that he sends our way. Deliverance involves the breaking up of legal grounds, the tearing down of strongholds (offensive spiritual warfare), and the casting out of demons. Spiritual warfare on the other hand, is dealing with three key things the enemy sends at us: temptations, deception and accusations.

w/GWV host Pastora Marioyn Ramos;  guest interview Pastor Matty

On some level we are all facing fear - afraid of being seen for who we truly are. Afraid of seeing ourselves for who we really are.Afraid of confronting our limiting beliefs, we avoid facing fear by hiding.

In order to prevent our true inner self from being seen, we wear a symbolic or metaphorical mask over our authentic personality in the hope that we will remain hidden.

Why do we do this?

It is fear which creates the mask, and fear which keeps it in place. The mask is hiding our true and most beautiful self from both ourselves and from the world. In its place is a mask of un-beauty.

In order to find our authentic self we must align ourselves with facing fear by digging down to the deepest, most hidden part of ourselves, that fearful place where we dread what we think is hidden.

When we dig deeply enough into our hidden nature we find not darkness but light ? and the realization that our safety lies in actually letting down the mask and being seen ?

in being our true authentic self.

Relationships tend to be the most balanced when the foundation is strong. If you can get the basics down, you’re much more likely to have a long-lasting and happy marriage. What works for someone elses relationship may not work for yours, and vice versa. Stick to what works for you and your partner, even if it seems to go against the grain of others. Worry about your own relationship.Your partner has flaws — leave them alone.  Identify values.  Follow the argument rule.   Sex is important.  Listen to your partner.  Be open to help.

If we are not careful, contemplating "Why?” will leave us bitter and cynical. Spending all our time pondering about why our world is broken does little to mend it.  We must be very careful when trying to figure things out. We don’t like to admit it, but we are severely limited in our abilities to do that.

For many, routine is life itself. If the routine is upset in any way, life becomes difficult to handle. For many, their daily routines consist of rising in the morning to a cup of coffee, rushing to shower and get ready for work. Then the kids have to be gotten up, dressed, and fed. Once all is gathered, the children are loaded up, taken to school or day care, and then there the rush into daily employment. Once the whistle blows, rush hour traffic is faced, the kids are picked up and the day is almost spent. However, once home, daily chores are performed, bills must be paid, dinner must be prepared, and any work brought home must be completed. Finally, after all tasks are concluded, it is time to collapse into bed only

Women who made changes in their lives, that has impacted the lives of many.

Special interviews with Author Caroline Saunders of I Married A Preacher with Deep Dark Secrets

Pastor Mellisa Miller *

At some point in his or her life nearly everyone desires to be and tries to be a better person. Nearly everyone will strive, make an honest effort to be a to be a “good person.” People often long to try and change their life for the better. People are not completely blind to their own faults. They recognize a need for change. For example they might see that they have an anger problem and therefore strive for a better temperament and more patience. Some may not like the kind of things coming out of their mouth so they’ll try and clean up their act and have more godly speech. Others strive for a purer thought life, better self-control, etc.

You can see many examples in society of people’s desire to change and be a better person. The self-help books that line many bookstores are evidence of this desire. The abundance of twelve step programs and classes on such things as anger management is more evidence. The inability of people to get an appointment at Christian and secular counselors because of demand shows us that there is an abundance of people seeking to change for the better. Sometimes even church attendance is motivated by this longing and is evidence of this inward desire to be a better person.

Interviews with men of honor * Pastor Elias ramos and Enmanuel salcedo.

hosting Hispanic/English segment of A Godlt Woman's View * Pastora Mariyln ramos

  1. What are some characteristics that describe a man?

  2. How do you come into your manhood?

  3. What are some challenges that every man faces?

  4. How do you overcome them?

  5. What makes one a man of honor?

  6. How do you break stereotypes and generational curses?

The Knight in Shining Armor is a fabulous image of Might. It speaks to chivalry, integrity and valor. But to what end? For what purpose? For what reason does a mighty man exist. you were created to give your life. A Father is a man who has learned to give his life for others. A Mighty Man of God is a man who gives his life with strength, honor, and passion. A Mighty Man of God Protects those he Loves.  His left arm is under my head, and his right arm embraces me.

To be honorable is to be kind, genuine and empathetic without expecting a reward for your behaviour. It’s a rare combination of virtues, but with practice anyone can be honorable. Do you want to be the type of person who stands up for your beliefs instead of cowering, who rescues your friends when they need you, and who’s known for being an upstanding citizen? Start by doing little things, like showing up when you say you will or asking someone if they need a hand. When you practice living honestly in everyday ways, and letting people know you have their backs, being honorable will start to feel like second nature.

Calm down. Nothing makes a situation worse than basing your actions on fear, anger, or frustration. If something bad happens to you, you will have these emotions whether you’re aware of them or not. be patient, keep breathing, and pay attention. Evaluate the problem in relation to the project. Just because someone else thinks the sky has fallen doesn’t mean that it has.  Calm down again. Now that you know something about the problem, you might really get upset (“How could those idiots let this happen!?”). Get the right people in the room Any major problem won’t impact you alone. Identify who else is most responsible, knowledgeable, and useful and get them in together straight away.

Explore alternatives. After answering any questions and clarifying the situation, figure out what your options are.

There is nothing wrong with putting on makeup. Caring about our physical appearance is good, except when that concern becomes extreme, and we forget about the things we should be concerned about.

You want to be a “successful” husband/wife … RIGHT? What does that mean? Does it mean that you have no problems in your marriage? Are you a “successful” wife if your husband doesn’t attend church with you? Are you a “successful” husband if your wife won’t let you buy that new pick-up truck you’ve always wanted?

How do we determine “success”, anyway? Many people determine “success” by comparing themselves with other people. They think that if you can’t buy what other people have, then you aren’t successful.

Some people think that you’re not “successful” if you haven’t climbed as far up the ladder of “success” as somebody else.

When something breaks open, a lot may go through you. You may feel an energy release, which can feel like a tingling, hot, buzz rippling through your body. You may feel lots of the pent up emotions releasing. You may start crying...A LOT. In these moments, you are releasing the pain of this issue or old karma. If it is really intense, you may need someas sound healing or even a close spiritual friend to support you. Most times, rest, meditation, visualized energy clearing (which is easy to learn), and drinking LOTS of water helps you to clear out what just broke open. Some people can get sick or very physically ill. And while I ALWAYS encourage you to check in with doctors for physical illnesses, when it's a spiritual healing in progress, they usually won't find anything wrong with you. You'll just get sent home to rest until it clears.

What is forgiveness?

Researchers who study forgiveness and its effects on our well-being and happiness are very specific about how they define forgiveness.

Psychologist Sonja Lyubomirsky calls forgiveness “a shift in thinking” toward someone who has wronged you, “such that your desire to harm that person has decreased and your desire to do him good (or to benefit your relationship) has increased.” Forgiveness, at a minimum, is a decision to let go of the desire for revenge and ill-will toward the person who wronged you. It may also include feelings of goodwill toward the other person. Forgiveness is also a natural resolution of the grief process, which is the necessary acknowledgment of pain and loss.

Feeling better takes time, but you can get there if you make positive choices for yourself each day.
