JoAnne's nephew is a sophomore at Michigan State University. He was at the Union when 3 shots rang out. He ran to safety with another student who saw the gunman open fire.
After Holly Hutton lost her Dad in February 2022, she was looking for a unique way to honor him. In life, he was unusual and unique person. Holly says that his favorite word was bizarre, so when this opportunity presented itself, she had to do it. The website is called Beyond Burials and they offer burials in space! For the past 9 year, Local 4 morning anchor Evrod Cassimy has been in Detroit bringing the good and bad news along with Rhonda Walker. Today's Social Dilemma comes from a listener who is having her wedding be a child free wedding. However, her cousin RSVP'd NO and sent a gift because she could find a babysitter for her 2 year old. Why would JoAnne's husband Eric turn off the water to their house when they go on vacation? It almost caused a flood when their sump pump failed and their backup didn't work because the water was off. JJ and Jason were baffled by this logic and we try to get to the root of the issue.
In the 80's, JJ and his old radio partner George took listeners to Moscow to see the Rolling Stones perform. However, the show was canceled but the trip was already booked. So, they still went to Moscow with the listeners. One of the crazy things JJ experienced was the opening of the first McDonald's in what was then, the Soviet Union. The story is amazing and that's not even the craziest thing that happened on that trip!
