This is a podcast about the love of sports and sports movies. Why is it that those who may not like sports love sports movies? Why is it that the most magical and romantic moments that happen in movies also happen in real life but are ignored by those that only like sports movies but not real-life sports? This podcast's aim is to bring about debate and inform everyone how closely the two are intertwined. Love, sports, and sports movies.
Back after a short mental health break hiatus, in this episode I talk about a great women's basketball story, an unfortunate NBA story and I review some of my favorite films from this past Fantastic Fest. I hope you enjoy and tell your friends!
This was a great week for women's sports in general, and a great week for a particular woman helping increase the viewership of sports among women.

Welcome back! It's been almost a year but I've finally been able to carve out some time where I can do this show weekly again, what a year it's been. We've missed out on my thoughts on things like LeBron breaking the NBA scoring record, Creed III, Welcome to Wrexham (all those things are amazing btw), but I'm back!
For this episode I got a chance to review an upcoming Apple TV+ documentary featuring the rise of Steph Curry called Underrated, and for fans of Steph Curry this is an interesting look at the man when he's off the court and how he grew up with a big chip on his shoulders.
I also cover the LeBron James biopic Shooting Stars, though it's not just a biopic about him, it's more about the family he chose as a child and how they all grew up together winning a state championship in Ohio.
I unveil a new Film Study segment where I give you some titles that you can watch from home via streaming or upcoming Blu-ray/4K releases you can purchase.

The Oscars came and went and a sports film won an award, well, technically two films won an award. One for best Short Film Documentary and the other for Best Actor, but no other Oscars drama happened, we'll just talk about the sports movies.
