On this podcast listeners can enjoy the soul stirring sermons from the late pastor Frank Hampton Jr who pastored the Church of God in Jackson Michigan from 1963-2018. Pastor Hampton was a preacher of Holiness and Christian Perfection. The burden of this podcast is to share with the world the anointed preaching of the beloved pastor in hope that listeners are moved toward God. Sermons will be released Mondays and Fridays at 12pm.
Suffering is part of the life of a Christian. Suffering was a part of Christ's life: if we are living like Him, we will get the same results as He did. Suffering is the only way that we can be prepared for heaven. God wants us to make it to heaven, but he cannot let us in if there are things about us that are not heaven-ready; suffering is the only way to remove these things, and therefore God allow us to suffer until He sees that all of the contaminates are out of you. This is why we suffer.

The church at this hour is facing the greatest challenges it has faced since it began. God's church faced challenges when it began, but they were able to overcome everyone of them while they lived lives of sacrifice; when Gospel and things of the spirit was their life. Only by the same means will we overcome the challenges the church is facing today.

Most people who are taken down by the devil fall because they are not fully aware of who they are up against. Our adversary spends all his time plotting to utterly destroy us; he is a sharpshooter whose gun is always cocked and ready to fire. The way we withstand all of his fiery arrows is by always having the shield of faith lifted up: have no unguarded moments!

Humans are natural worshippers; everyone is worshipping something in some form. Many people claim to worship God, but true worship of God is rarer than we may realize. True worship is done as much, if not more, outside of a church building as it is inside! This is a message of introspection and realignment: listen carefully to what the Spirit has to say to you through it.

Nothing can substitute a definite encounter with God. There are things that simply will not change until you make contact with God Himself; and when you do make this contact, it is as undeniable as your very existence! When you have an encounter with God, you are forever a changed individual.

An example is the last thing God can show a person to try to persuade them. Both in scripture and in our own lives, we see example after example that ought to be clear warning signs. But still, with all of the examples that we have before us, the majority of people fall into the same condition because they do not sufficiently consider them. Let us not follow the present trend! Let us examine what caused others to fall so that we can learn from and avoid their mistakes.

The strategy if the enemy in these last days is to wear out the people of God. He just wants to keep the pressure on the saints until they break, and unfortunately the devil has had no little success with this strategy over the years. But thank God we do not have to cave under the pressure of the enemy! The way out is to cast every care upon God, one by one; don't let them pile up on you. The devil cannot break you if God is carrying the weight of your load!
Often God does not move in a certain fashion, not because there is a lack of clarity with Him, but because we have allowed ourselves to be comforted with our conditions. If we are going to get God to move like we see in scripture, we must get to a place where we are so troubled about it that we will not be satisfied with anything less!

If you fully understood what it took God to deliver you from all the spirits that had you bound, you would praise God more than you do now. The devil does not play games; he does not loose a soul until he is absolutely forced. Now, since you have been freed from the bondage of Egypt, you ought to get as far away from it as you can: launch out into the deep in salvation!
We are now living in the dangerous times prophesied about by the apostle Paul. The church world is in as deplorable of a condition as it has ever been. It is no time to get careless or distracted now! The train to glory is picking up momentum; if you are going to get on and stay on, it is time for action, lest you be left behind.

Divine healing is an unconditional part of the gospel! The message of divine healing causes the people of God to live close and careful lives; this is why it is usually the first thing that the enemy removes when a person or group of people apostatize. But no matter who discards the message or practice of divine healing, it is still a promise in God's Word and available to every child of God!
"Too long people have presumed on the mercy of God". God is love, and His mercy is everlasting, nonetheless he is simultaneously the righteous judge and it is a fearful thing to fall into his hands. God in finality is currently calling all his precious human creation to salvation and greater light; will we be faithful to answer?
After a certain length of time being saved, we should get to the point where we are prepared for any assignment for which God needs us. Our lives should be such that anywhere and any time we can spring into action for God. This is the least we can do for God, and we owe it to the saints and to our own soul.

God works is seasons. If we do not move when God is prompting us to move, then we will just miss what He is doing. Trying to move when God is not moving is like planting seeds after the harvest is past. It is very important to move while the door of opportunity is open: if we wait too late, we are liable to fall into a state of despair, blackness, hopelessness.

God can tolerate anything but a lack of love. Refuse to fall victim to the cold, nonchalant, and apathetic Laodicean environment. Stay intimate with God, sensitive to His Spirit’s call, and obedient to His Word.

The question may be asked, "how far can the Satan go?" The answer: the devil can go as far as you let him. If you submit yourself to God and resist the devil, he will flee from you! But if you let the enemy continue to advance upon your mind or body, he will keep on going until he consumes you. The enemy will go as far as you let him, and he will work exploit to the fullest anything you give him. Let us not be ignorant of Satan's devices!

"Every mans downfall started with a suggestion from the devil". Once Satan is our ear, it's no casual thing getting him out; so we'd be best off not letting him get started at all. Keep a ready violent rebuke, watch, and pray.

In the year of 1982, Pastor Hampton and the congregation in Jackson were journeying in Bible study through the book of Acts. On this particular evening, Pastor Hampton was burdened. The saints in the book of Acts started off on fire, but so soon that level of glory began to wane. Many people have similar experiences in salvation: they get to a place in God where they have genuine glory and a connection with God, but for some reason they relax, and let it slip. If you have this glory, do all to keep it; if you have lost it, then do whatever is necessary to recapture it!

Along this way of salvation, we could face anything. Therefore we must so settle it in our hearts, so count the cost that every adversity that stands in our path is viewed simply as part of the cost. We will not make it by our own strength; only the strength of God Himself will take us through. But it is up to us to eat everything God feeds us so we can be in position to receive that strength.

We make the decision, God determines the consequence. We make the choice, God enforces its' implications. Knowing that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, let us walk worthy of the vocation wherewith we are called.

Often the Spirit leads in paths that are contrary to the flesh, paths that are uncomfortable. God does this to prepare you for the task ahead. Many people are lost and confused today because they did not follow the Spirit's leading. Not only is it crucial to obey the Spirit when He speaks, but even before then you must get into a position where you can and are willing to obey no matter where He leads.

Would Jesus feel welcome at your house? Would radical changes need to be made for Jesus to feel comfortable in your house? If He walked in, would you treat Him with greater honor than the influential people you look up to?
Take careful retrospective inventory of your life as you experience this soul searching message.

Most times the enemy cannot take a saint out with one hard blow, so he does his best to first tire them out. If you allow the enemy to get you to become weary, you will cease to do what produces divine results. Apostasy comes in when you get weary of holding the truth. Eventually the virtue you have will become depleted, but don't get weary! Jesus left us an example to do in these times: get alone with God until He renews your virtue.

Pure gold is what filled the tabernacle, which is representative of God's church. Everything in the kingdom of God must be pure; anything that is impure is not a part of God's church and cannot enter heaven. Purity is characterized by a holy, consecrated, and blameless life that is utterly free from corruption of the spirit, soul, and body. We must be pure according to God's definition of purity. Closely examine your life: are you made of pure gold?

Faith is the powerful means by which we are saved, but it is important to realize that it can be overthrown. There is a certain faith for which God is looking; this faith is God’s standard. In Luke 18:8 Jesus, foreseeing the time in which we now live, questioned whether He would find acceptable faith at all at His coming. We see then that in order to keep that faith for which Jesus is coming back, beyond ordinary effort is required.

Faith is the engine of triumph in the Christian experience. God operates within a higher order, and faith is the channel to experience this higher order, enabling complete dominion over this natural order, life, and world.

If what you are claiming or holding is backed up by the Bible, then you can prove it to be true without fear of embarrassment. You do not prove it by talking, but by putting it into action and getting the results. This is not only our privilege, but also our responsibility. The question, then, is "are you my brother and sister proving the Bible is true?"

Rebellion is the wind in which all sin committed.
Rebellion, in any form or measure, towards God, His Word, conscience, or the still small voice is a fallen, suboptimal, and unacceptable spiritual state.
May we all with mindful introspection do as our brother, Apostle Paul advocates “… let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

This is a fact: your focus determines your destination. The only way to succeed spiritually is to keep our eyes focused on Jesus until the goal is obtained. It is the devil's objective to get your focus away from God and onto your circumstance because he knows that if you keep your focus right, your situation will eventually break and you will receive the prize! Seeing how vital your focus is, honestly ponder the question, where are your eyes?

A man's soul is his most prized, precious, and premium possession; infinite in both value and longevity.
May God grant us personal revelation of this eternal insight and our attitude, mindset, and conduct reflect that understanding.
The true people of God will settle with nothing less than the presence of God; with what works. It is not hard to discern where and through whom God is working, and even those who may outwardly criticize God's people know deep within that what they are doing is what produces results. Do not content yourself with anything less than the presence of God being definitely with you; the fulness of God! A time is coming when it is the only thing that will carry you through.

The tone, heart, and burden of this message echo that of the Apostle Paul in his farewell address to the Ephesian elders in Acts 20.
Bro. Hampton with his “66 years” of insight, wisdom, and experience urge the saints to not go down with the ship or fall victim to the general conditions of our day.
Alternatively, he encourages the saints to strive to be apart of the remnant of her seed, build themselves up in their most holy faith, and rise above this apathetic, impotent, logically inconsistent 8th beast spiritual atmosphere.

War for the saints is inevitable; there is no way to go around it and stay saved. Therefore we must fashion our minds for the spiritual warfare! Our lifestyles ought to be so that we could engage a major crisis at any time. If you are in a war, fight it out until the end; if you are not, give yourself in preparation for it!

God has directed His promises to those whose heart is perfect toward Him; it is these who can expect and hold God to His promises. A perfect heart is characterized by perfect trust. God has not promised to come through because we are suffering or in distress, but because we trust Him and are empty of all doubt. Soul-searching is in order after listening to this Word from God! Is your heart perfect toward God?
It's one thing to not accept or delay acceptance of the truth. It's another thing to oppose it blatantly.
When an individual exchanges the tender working of the Holy Ghost for hardness, hatred, and hostility towards that working they adjudicate themselves as children of Satan, appropriately deserving hell.
May Almighty God enable us to prove ourselves worthy of everlasting life.

An ultimatum is made in salvation: either you crucify the old man or the old man will crucify you; both cannot co-exist in salvation for long. The life of every living thing can only be perpetuated if it is fed; if you stop feeding something, it dies. So it is with the old man, or the old nature. You will never be able to mortify the old man unless you get brutal enough with it to stop feeding it, despite its cries to be satisfied. You must deny the passions that it stirs up in you! To mortify the old man is a commandment from God, so we see then that we will not get to heaven short of entire sanctification. If you are willing to go as far as you must, the experience of sanctification is as available to you as it was to anyone who has obtained it!
Interfacing the Divine requires a still mind.
The only way to "know", hear the "still small voice", receive revelation, and experience a spiritual deposit from God is through stillness and solitude.
"Don't get excited", be still and know.
There is a grace to which we have access; a grace that will enable us to stand under any circumstances. In the morning time of the gospel day, the church stood in the face of strong persecution. They felt the same way we feel about be physically persecuted, but it was the standing grace that allowed not to waiver in the face of death. We too must make it up in our minds that we are going to stand, and seek after the grace to stand until we obtain it. Either we put on the whole armor of God and stand, or we will fall. Though obtaining this grace will require strenuous effort at times, if we are willing to do all to stand, we will stand. And praise God that this grace is attainable! Despite what trial, at this moment, is on the table before you, when you have done everything that you can do to stand, just stand, and the Lord will give grace.
Immortality is that aspect of God that we have inherited; our conscious existence is an eternal one. But those who have obtained life and conquered fear of death will have an eternal existence of bliss! We are sure that heaven lies on the other side of the life of a saint because the joy and ecstasy that we have experienced on this side is something that earth cannot produce! Our experience as saints is a foretaste of heaven. But those who reject salvation have rejected eternal life, and many will not even realize it until they are aroused by the stark reality of an eternal sentence. But while we are still here on earth, we still have a choice. Will you choose life or death?

Human nature is anti-sacrifice.
The essence of a true Christian's existence is sacrifice.
The level of one's spirituality is defined by the state of their personal altar.
When it comes time for you to reckon with God, He will not judge you by what you did, but by what you could have done. Pastor Hampton challenged the heart of the saints, presenting to them a heavy question: have you done what you could? The position of our souls before God is dependent on us reaching our full potential for God, for we must give an account for anything that went lacking because of our lack. This word from the Lord is solemn and heavy, but, thank God, sufficient inspiration to execute is always sent along with a challenge from God!

It is an impossibility to prepare for the evil day when it’s already knocking at your door.
Every human life will face a season of intense difficulty, pressure, and hostile spiritual warfare.
As Christians we survive and thrive amid this time by allowing God to shape, train, and teach us in prior times of peace.

After the first apostasy, it took the church many hundreds of years to recapture the blamelessness and glory with which she began. But so soon after she regained it, she became spotted again. It is in this condition the church now stands, and it is up to us, those of whom the church consists, to rid ourselves of every individual and collective spot, that Christ's bride may be blameless upon His imminent return. It is not just up to a few individuals to make the bride ready; everyone who makes up the body must take the up the burden of the church personally. However, there will not be a blameless church without a blameless ministry who will keep the Word pure. It is the pure Word alone that can wash the bride of her spots and make her presentable to Christ.

God operates with a different criteria of measurement than we humans do.
His eyes are on the spirit (internal) and we default to the flesh (external).
The posture of one’s heart is the surest determinant of one’s spiritual success not any external measure (even if it relates to the spiritual realm).
Furthermore, we know sin separates from God, however God's ultimate desire is that we maintain a certain attitude towards sin (internal) and not the we simply avoid sinful manifestations (external).

God has entrusted every person with a responsibility. We are stewards of the task that God has committed to our trust, and are expected to be faithful in carrying it out. The completion of this mission is not optional: our eternal destination is predicated on whether or not we fulfill God's plan. Can God trust you in carrying out this task? To apprehend that for which you were apprehended?
In the church today, we often wonder why there aren't more gifts; greater manifestations of God's power. The reason is this: there are so few that God can trust with this level of power. This trust comes with faithfulness. Not just faithfulness pertaining to living above sin, but faithfulness in a certain pursuit and consecration that will put you in position to be entrusted with a greater power from God. May God help us to imbibe both a life and a lifestyle that renders us trustworthy to God! And the results will follow.

Christ and his army conquered then and is conquering still now, victorious through the annuls of time.
The caliber experience God expects of his church is that of unbroken glory.
The flame of His glory ignites upon a definite work of salvation in the soul and must grow in heat and luminance as you progress, walking on the path of just, which is as a shining light that grows brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.

Every action has an immediate reaction, but also lasting aftermath. Often people act swiftly, only seeing as far as the immediate result, and not considering that they also must deal with the aftermath of their actions. How the aftermath is handled is usually just as consequential as the action itself, and a failure to handle it right might mean one's eternal downfall. So we would do well to make it fully certain that we allow this message to have its full and immediate effect in our lives! Pastor Hampton clearly speaks from experience in this message, having seen many things in salvation up to that point, and was burdened about being right himself and that the saints also be right.

Sentencing against an evil work is always God’s last resort.
God’s mercy endures, going to extreme measures to give all of his human children every opportunity to correct their errors and wholly follow the Lord.
However, humans have the ability to waste God’s aggressive goodness and merciful power to such a point to where there is no return; therefore an eternal divine ruling to damnation is reasonable.
As gruesome and fierce as some of Gods judgments may appear, everything God does is redemptive.
The spiritual condition of this world is only growing colder. The religious world is also following the same trajectory. If then the world is getting colder, in order for the people of God to remain hot, we must continually increase the fire in our souls. There is no way we can stay the same and not be affected by this atmosphere. Everyone that falls spiritually only adds to the cold, and we who are determined to stand must work more abundantly to pick up their slack. So examine yourself: are you daily drawing closer to God? Daily increasing your heat? Take heed that you align your life with this message; only those who do will survive!

Holistic life satisfaction is only achieved in one kind of lifestyle; that which is built on and centered around the foundation of Christ.
Since the beginning, mankind has always attempted to design a meaningful, substantive, and fulfilling existence disconnected from God’s course.
Humanity has made status, financial affluence, and counterfeit fleshly religion their chief pursuit.
Meanwhile Satan has so consumed humanity in their relentless striving towards “enough”, constantly redefining what “enough” means.
As a result humanity operates exhausted and stuck on a never-ending treadmill of arrival, only to soon realize that they have been building on the bottomless pit, functioning with a flawed value structure, and now have eternity to think about how they were tricked.

Noah condemned the entire world because he was perfect in the wicked environment before the flood. He condemned the world because he went far enough to meet God's standard despite the prevailing conditions around him. We too have the very grave responsibility, as saints of God, to judge the world by our lives; we must be perfect. God ought to be able to use our lives as a perfect example of what he requires from man, and judge others by it.
But what is God's standard for man? It is that we be the best that He offered His grace and inspiration for us to be; no less! God now may not cut you off for lacks in your salvation, for there is time and space to fulfill that lack. But when you meet Him in final judgment, no lacks will be tolerated since all was provided to you to measure up. This message sent forth is strong, but it will prepare us to meet Christ! May God grant the grace to receive it.
There is no pursuit more noble in this life and rewarding in the life to come than to do always those things that please God. Christian, don't be relaxed by casual "churchianity"; work out your own salvation, with fear, trembling, and reverence. Stand bold in face of pressure, allow Christ to be Lord of your life and His spirit to guide you safely all the way Home.
As sure as the sun is to rise each morning, payday is coming! Depending on whose wages you are receiving, this is either your greatest blessing or your greatest curse. If you spend your time, energy, tears, and life altogether working for the devil until your cup fills us, you will receive a full payment for your life-work. But, glory to God, if you spend your life building up the kingdom of God at the expense of your own health, comfort, and anything else you sacrifice for God, your sufferings won’t be worthy to even compare to your reward! And your work will be rewarded both here and more abundantly in eternity.
So listener, if your payment is death, you have the glorious opportunity to get saved and change your payment! But listener, if your glorious reward is already compounding through your holy and consecrated life, be encouraged and remain steadfast, your payday is coming!
God's ways are unfathomable, beyond comprehension, and can often appear inequitable.
Our Christian journey will be riddled with countless disappointments, unexpected misfortunes, and allowed accidents or irreversible happenings that God could've prevented.
Knowing this, the basis of commitment to God must not be fixed in our understanding why He deals as He does, but rather in the simple fact that He is God.
In the "Christian" world today, grace is often misapplied and seen as tool that causes one's sins to go without effect. However, this is not at all the purpose of grace. Grace gives power to deny all ungodliness and worldly lusts, and enables one to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world.
The Spirit of grace has taken it upon Himself to reveal this truth to everyone who comes into this world, and therefore all have the opportunity to accept this grace. And once you are saved, the Spirit of grace is with you, doing everything in His power to keep you!
Even in this dark and wicked world, we are able to live righteously through the help of the Spirit of grace. And praise God grace is ever available to us! No matter the situation, if we willing to seek grace, we will find it!

Temptation is inevitable, but it’s your choice to entertain it. For many Christians, the real struggle isn’t falling to it — it’s flirting with it. To live a conquering, consistent, and exemplary Christian life you must foresee evil afar off, entirely avoid all grey areas, and maintain a violent disposition towards sin.

Many are contented to simply survive spiritually, but God's Word exhorts us that we should be doing so much the more as we see the day approaching! It should not be so that we see our brother or sister going through, and we turn a blind eye to it; no, we should get up under their burden with them as if we were going through ourselves. This is how one becomes more spiritual, draws closer to God, and experiences more of God's blessings.
However, not many are actually willing to obey the command, "let us consider one another...so much the more." So where are you? Are you praying, fasting, reading and studying the Word, seeking after God, examining yourself, and burden bearing so much the more as time draws to a close? "He that hath an ear, let him hear."

A cursory glance at our country’s condition—reflected in the news, mainstream media, religion, politics, and the general state of human well-being, reveals that negativity is deeply woven into the fabric of society.
Furthermore as Christians, it is self evident that Satan incessantly works to ensure our mental energy is fixated on negative things and blind to positive things.
“Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?”
Being a Christian doesn’t delete the reality that life is full of negativity, hardship, pain, and misfortune; however, for the Christian ALL things work together for a positive purpose, and needless to say we spend a lot more days enjoying the wonders of this exceptional Christian life than we do immersed in trial.
For many, the pull of the world is so strong. The life of the party seems nigh irresistible; but what the devil does not show in his picture for their life is that every party comes to an end, and for many, it is already over! The end of the party, in some instances, is not death, but is when all the enjoyment of sin is gone. And what many do not realize is that it is not as easy as just staying in sin till the party ends and then coming to God. This is not at all the case because, even when or if you try to come to God, you must still reckon with everything that you did in sin, and many are just not willing to do so sufficiently.
For some, the party does end with along with their lives, and the realization they receive that the party is over is a realization that is almost more than the human mind can stand. Lord, help us all to realize that the party in sin ended a long time ago! There is nothing out there but a miserable life, and at the bitter end, eternal death. May we all take heed to this word sent from heaven.

There is no human experience equal to that of a ex-saint (former saint).
Any Christian, after having tasted the good word of God and experiencing so great a salvation - only to turn to and crucify their Saviour afresh, by returning to the vomit of sin is an atrocity beyond comprehension.
The process of becoming an ex saint is a vicious one; requiring intense effort, force, and resoluteness of mind.
May God grant us all a personal divulgence of this truth and may we cling to Christ with trembling and trust.

Every day we are determining our destiny! Every word, imagination, and action direct our course. Listener, the final destination of your life and ultimately your soul is left in your hands and to your discretion. And although we are charting our course each moment, some moments forever define our destiny. This is why we must, without intermission, acknowledge God in all our ways that He may direct our path. If we do this indeed, our destiny will be according to His perfect plan! Solemnly listen to and consider this word from God, and let this message forever change you.

No utility is found in developing sophisticated prowess without first mastering the fundamentals. Before attempting algebra, one must have a firm grasp of addition and subtraction, lest your lack of comprehension of these rudimentary concepts expose you as incompetent and juvenile. This evergreen truth holds cosmic relevance in the realm of God, yet it is being utterly abandoned—and in some cases vilified—by a majority of the nominal Christian community. Listen carefully, reflect soberly, and be sure you stand secure on the Solid Rock.

God did not create us for us to live however we want to live; He has a divine purpose for every one of us. If you choose and settle it to follow God's purpose for you no matter what, then God Himself will see to it that you do! God will provide every provision that you possibly need, and the devil himself is powerless to stop you! However, if you choose to disregard God's purpose for you, then He will use you still to fulfill a divine purpose, but it ultimately ends in your destruction. Listener, we must therefore, for our soul's sake, see to it that we allow God to purge out everything that may cause us in any way to stray from His divine purpose for our lives!

We all have first hand experience, in times past, operating within the destructive course of the world, as slaves to our senses and whims, and were by nature predisposed to evil.
A challenge human nature presents and Satan latches onto, is to after having tasted the heavenly gift of salvation, for our grasp of the unmitigated corruption, debasement, and perversion of our former life to dampen.
May we with hearts erupting with gratitude, roll back the curtain of memory, remind ourselves of the gravity of our iniquitous past, and consider where we would be today, had it not been for the Lord on our side.

The day of the final judgment will be a day when all earthly status and position will mean nothing, and all will be equal. None will be favored; all will be judged according to God's Word and they way they lived their life. An account for every word, deed, thought, and intention will be given on that day to Christ, who is now our Advocate, but will then be our impartial Judge. Dear listener, honestly examine your life today: is there anything in your life that causes your heart to condemn you? Can you honestly say that you can present your life God with boldness in your current condition? If there is anything that would cause you to question, now, at this very moment, is the time to get it clear with God, while you have the ability to do so. But on that day, there will be no changes.
God loves all his human children, but he favors few; his elect. In the course of nature good things flow naturally to us all, but there is a select group who have unreservedly relinquished themselves to God that has earned them a place of exclusive privilege.
Almighty God himself, functions with the best interest of this particular group in all His undertakings.
The advantages of being apart of God's elect are unfathomable in their fulness; however there is a great price to paid, much pressure to carry, and intense effort required to attain and retain your place as apart of God's elect.

The common belief in the religious world today is that there are some circumstances in which the children of God will inevitably fall, but the Word of God clearly dispels this false theology! God makes such provisions for us to go through every circumstance of life with perfect victory that it is an affront to God to say that we cannot do so. Before God sends anything our way, He first tests it to see if we can handle it, and if He allows it, He sends an abundance of grace with it. God is faithful to do His part, but the reason many fall is because they are not faithful in doing their part. May each hearer receive both the challenge and the inspiration of this message from heaven!

In 2025, we find ourselves caught in the most anxiety-filled, lonely, and dissatisfied generation the world has ever seen. Life is unfair, arduous, unrelenting, and we live in a hostile world; irregardless of our spiritual status.
The condition of our society today is a result of the human race, under the influence of the prince of the power of the air, having esteemed it normal and strong, to manage these pressures disconnected from Christ and the support of His people.
Christian, don't squander your golden opportunity, that the world so desperately is yearning for; understand that "you have God" and lean 100% on his everlasting arms, for He ALONE is the unshaken foundation, all other ground is sinking sand.

Perfection is not just a doctrine, it is God's standard for being a part of His church and for making it to heaven. Many have ceased to preach God's standard of perfection because their life did not reflect what they were preaching; not because they could not be perfect, but because they were not willing to do what it takes to allow God to make them perfect. Perfection involves suffering; it involves allowing God to burn up all the dross that is on you. Dross is anything that God cannot use. Unless you take your hands off and just allow God to do what He knows is necessary to perfect every area of your spirit, you will die beneath His standard. Listener, though it may be a long, strenuous process, allow God to make you fit for heaven!

"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, life is too short, so party we must".
The masses of the modern day west, have largely adopted the opinion that the “party” or experiencing excessive sensual gratification at the expense of higher priorities is a requirement, or “must” for a season, at least.
This choice is often made by individuals who had there eyes open to some degree, to the potential regrets, major consequences, and self inflicted pain that comes as apart of the package deal, that is the “party”.
In light of eternity exclusively you would think the preponderant sentiment to be “ashes to ashes, dust to dust, life is too short, so get saved young I must”, however, this is not the case.
May we all look beyond the fleeting moments of ecstasy and understand the party to be the virulent poison it is, both in this present time and in the life hereafter.

Power over the forces of darkness is the only thing that can drive them out. Without this power, the powers of the devil will inevitably overcome us! The whole entire world is under Satan’s control, and he is not giving up an inch of ground that he is not forced to give up by a greater power. And aside from the devil himself, some sicknesses and other circumstances will just be there until power over it is exercised. However, this power is only given by God as a result of a sacrificial and consecrated lifestyle, which few are willing to live. Take earnest heed to the things which God put on Pastor Hampton’s heart to speak!
Feelings are central to the human experience. There is a difference between experiencing an emotion and being an emotional person or being consumed by your sensations. If the intensity and commitment you possess in your salvation experience is dependent on a certain emotion you’re experiencing, your experience will resemble a roller coaster. Christian bring your emotions into subjection, keep your feelings in check, and daily master self.
We are living in a world that is ever changing, and our environment is certainly a part. But it is imperative that, as saints, we are able to endure these changes. An inspections of both the ancient and recent past shows that many individuals and groups that were once on fire for God were destroyed because they were not equipped to endure the changes in their spiritual environment. Pastor Hampton laid out his God-given burden to the congregation then, but this message is still equally, if not more applicable to and necessary for the church today. May God grant to you the burden and the understanding of this Word from heaven!

There is not a bone of sympathy, remorse, or warmheartedness in Satan. He is maniacal, unreasonable, and thoughtless. Satan's job is not finished until your soul is lost or your usefulness for God is annihilated. Yes, Satan rarely loses any cases but neither are we ignorant of his devices. God help us all to function in fear towards God and not toy with the enemy of our soul.

Once God responds to your prayer, it is no longer time to pray about it, it is time to go forward! Praying when God tells you to act is only a waste of time. When you are walking with God, you are always moving forward; it is never of God to be in a state where you feel like you should not go forward. If you get out of line, then God will help you to get back in line so you can go forward. When God says go forward, even if you don't know where or how you are going, go forward, and God will create a path if necessary! The text for this message is Exodus 14:1-15.

Every saint of God ought to have the power to pray down the power of God when any situation arises that necessitates it. Christ, in Mark 16:17, said that the signs "shall follow them that believe." The strength to bring forth is not limited to the ministers and preachers. However, this power is accumulated, so you will not get it with a busy lifestyle or an inconsistent experience. The power to bring forth is not optional: a situation will arise when it is up to you to bring forth, and you very well may have to answer to God in the judgment if a soul did not break through, or a healing did not take place because of you inability to bring forth. So be honest with yourself; do you have strength to bring forth?

Hardship is an indispensable ingredient in the recipe of Christian success. Mainstream Christendom has often times attempted to completely eradicate this requisite ingredient, not realizing that suffering is in fact at the very core of what it means to be a Christian; so much so that without it, you are no "Christ-ian" at all. Perfection, establishment, and strengthening is on the other side of pain properly endured. Christian, reject your flesh, take up your cross, and endure hardness as a good solider of Jesus Christ.

Unless you really get down to business with God and get to a place where you can be stirred to a certain fervor, you will never be effective spiritually. Being fully honest with yourself, it is clearly seen that every move of God historically and recently was a direct result of the fervency that the saints accumulated by being unsatisfied with the prevailing condition. Heating up to the level of fervency that will move God is only attained through a relentless and unyielding pursuit; before this, however, you will have allowed the prompting of God and the work of the enemy to have stirred you up. Do not let this word from heaven leave you unchanged! Let God work in you the purpose for which it was sent!
It’s one thing to require something of others when you have no experience with it yourself, but it’s another thing to have actually gotten your hands dirty so that you can lead by your personal example. This is precisely what Christ has done for us in our Christian journey. He requires of us nothing more than what he, himself dealt with firsthand. Take courage, mighty Christian, while facing your daily battles knowing that your Saviour was tempted as a man in every conceivable way, just like you are.

God is not stingy with His blessings, but He will not bless you unless your life is clear in every aspect. Many people desire God's blessings, but do not understand why they are not getting them. Pastor Hampton, by God's help, gives the solution to this dilemma. Before you will be blessed God, you must prepare for the blessing. You must be willing to reason with God, and be honest and humble enough to acknowledge and deal sufficiently with anything He shows you. Once you clear the way, God will pour out His blessings upon you, as He has been desiring to do.
There is notion in the atmosphere that would have you to believe that God and His way of life is oppressive and tyrannical. Many today have bought into this false narrative and have become turned off to God and his religion without substantive cause. In today's episode Pastor Hampton beautifully advances to us that God’s nature is not negative, destructive, or damning, but rather the polar opposite. He is stimulated by extending mercy. Even when God pronounces his judgement and executes justice it’s always out of love, and never revenge. Thank God for his unmerited, undeserved, and under appreciated mercy that He extends to all his human children on a daily basis.

We are living in a time of violent spiritual warfare. Our foe is aggressive, and so are all of his forces. Through his aggression, and the lack of aggression of those who claim to be God's people, this entire world is under the devil's sway. He has taken the world and a great portion of the church through his violence, and it is only through a greater violence and aggression that will we take it back! Only through spiritual aggressiveness can we be prepared for the devil's aggression. Without this violent mentality, we will struggle just to keep what we have instead of invading the enemy's territory. But with this aggressive attitude, be it fully known that we will make the devil back up! He can only hold up under the consistent onslaught of a divine aggression for so long before he breaks!
Any spiritual failure or fall that has taken place occurred because the devil was given a space to work; he was allowed to get started. Somewhere an thought was entertained, a feeling was savored, or conversation, started by the devil, was continued. The devil can cause no destructive end if there is no place to start. Pastor Hampton admonished the saints with this word from heaven, realizing that giving no place to the devil is the only way that will overcome all of his pitfalls and tricks! We must cast down the thoughts and suggestions that the devil brings immediately! Let us all give very earnest heed to the things that were spoken by the servant of God, because if you give the devil an inch, he will take a mile.
We are living an a world full of theories. Thousands of ideas around salvation are hovering around in the spiritual atmosphere, and lodge themselves in the minds of people. The test of whether or not an individual has an authentic salvation experience or a counterfeit salvation experience is not whether or not you can make sense of what you believe theoretically, but rather possessing the honesty to ask yourself “does my current experience produce freedom indeed”, and “have I experienced power over the bondage of sin”. God help us to lay hold on if we haven’t yet, and fight to maintain with intensity if we have, our genuine, productive, and tangibly noticeable, gospel experience with Christ.
Only those who give the time and effort to dig deep will withstand the storms and floods. Any spiritual building that has fallen fell because of a lack of digging deep. Digging deep takes strenuous effort and time; it is not something that can be done in a busy or lazy lifestyle. Its outward manifestations are the result of work done behind closed doors. May God help every one of us to receive the burden and experience of this message from heaven! Without it, when the winds and rains, or the floods (direct attacks from the enemy) come, our spiritual house will fall flat.

The Christian course is way of sacrifice. The world has a course that is diametrically opposed to real Christianity, and has actually presented a comfortable and counterfeit version of Christianity void of real sacrifice. The God of this world has so blinded the minds of humanity, to believe that the Christian experience is passive, weak, easy-going, comfortable on the flesh, and customizable to your own understanding. God through His instrument, Bro. Hampton in today’s episode plainly shows us that this is not the case and details the sacrifice of the real Christian experience.

It is our responsibility to present the kingdom of God to the world. The separation between the kingdom of God and anything else is the power of God. The kingdom of God and power are inseparable! Therefore the kingdom cannot be delivered to the world by just anyone. Anybody is capable of presenting knowledge or a convincing argument, but in order to effectively present the kingdom of God, you must have enough in your soul to overpower the opposing kingdom. The question now presents itself: do you enough power in your soul to impart the power of kingdom to the world? May we all honestly examine ourselves in light of this message!

Your consistent walk with God alone does not manifest the blessings of God in your life; it simply makes them available. Much let-down occurred in the previous generations, leaving the current condition of the church in a mess. Now, in order to get the church in a place where she is ready to meet Christ, extraordinary work must take place. Unless we do something far beyond what has been deemed “normal”, we will most certainly go under. It is time to examine and clean up our personal experiences and the church with the same zeal with which Jesus purged the temple. The enemy is coming to destroy the church, and only those who have a clear vision, confidence with God, and are in tune with the Spirit are in position to fight him. The only thing that the devil respects is spiritual authority from heaven! This message from heaven, delivered with the help of the Holy Ghost during a fellowship meeting in Springfield, Ohio, is vital for this very hour in the gospel day. Spiritual authority is not a far-off thing that only certain saints can possess; it is available to every one of us: accumulated by living a detailed and consecrated life. Salvation is not a one-sided relationship! You don't fast and pray and sacrifice on your end and God not pour out on you in return. If you are living detailed and consecrated life, then you have authority from God as surely as you are alive: you must only exercise it. However, if there are any question marks in your life, then when the time comes when spiritual authority is needed, those questions will stop you from going any further. Saints, if your walk with God allows you to have true confidence, then it is time for you to exercise that authority. The need is very great!

The experience of a true saint of God goes from glory to glory with no intermission; if you are truly saved and sanctified, this is invariably the case! If you have kept your hands clean and walked in the Spirit, then there is no other experience for you to have. This experience is fully available, and also necessary. Pastor Hampton could not understand why good saints were not on the level that it seemed they could and should be until God revealed to him the reason: even those with good spirits will have a gloomy experience if they do not continually obtain new levels in which to glory. Yesterday’s glory cannot suffice for today. So those who rejoice in yesterday’s glory become stagnate. Let every one of us seek a higher plane of glory for today!

We can most solemnly agree with the Hebrew writer when he wrote “it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God”. The church, Mt. Zion, or Christ’s tangible and visible body likewise, is a gravitas people, who sit in gravitas places, and adhere to a gravitas message. May God help us to understand and guard ourselves against “The Great Sin”.
Unless you get violent, you will never get anywhere with God, for the devil himself is standing between you and God to resist you. And you must press past the devil and his thousands of years of experience in deferring people from getting to God! To get what God has for you, you must disregard your limits and be more forceful and relentless than the devil. So many have started a quest for God and been thrown off course because they were not willing to be as violent as it takes. So friend, will you press past the enemy and your limits to get what God has for you? God wants to give you what you are seeking, but are you willing to take it by force? May we all be burdened about this as much as Pastor Hampton was that it may drive us to action!

The concept of a judiciary system did not find origin, nor was it the discovery of any eastern historical world power, such as Egypt, Persia, or Rome; it originated from God. As the Creator of humanity, God has a system of judgement in place that His entire family of mankind, consisting of every nation, kindred, language, and people is caught in, seeing as all souls are His. May our cry connect with dear brother Amos, that “judgment would run down as waters” in the world, in God’s church, and in our personal lives understanding as the prophet, our brother, Isaiah did that “Zion will be redeemed with judgment”.

People of God, it’s time to seek the Lord until He rains righteousness upon us! God is truly eager to unleash His power upon His people, but very few are willing to go as far as it takes to move God to work. It is the duty of the church to bring the presence of God down into our midst, for it is the consistent manifestation of the power of God that draws the world to Zion. Can we be called God’s people if we are not able to manifest the promises of God in every case? God is doing His best to wake up those who are sleeping and have been affected by this lukewarm age. We must first be stirred up before we will seek God fervently enough to stir Him up, and often God sends a crisis to stir us up to this level. Saints of God, do not let this be the case; let the Word of God be the cause that stirs us up to seek God until He directly responds!
The pressure and immense responsibility that the ministry has inherited in this 7th age of time, within the gospel day is unparalleled and has caused the late Bro. Hampton to actually feel sick during some moments in his life. This is a sleepy time, prophetically, and the enemy has in reality, largely succeeded at blinding us to the gravity of this particular moment in the gospel dispensation. The end time ministry and church alike are the anchor man in the relay of the gospel day, and God’s masterplan for humanity. Let us pray for our ministers, each other, and ourselves that we operating as one man would rise to the end time occasion.

Salvation is designed to be the chief joy of those who possess it. However, if your consecration ceases to be at a level to meet of the requirements of salvation, then salvation becomes a weight. The things of God, which should bring you the most joy, become a chore and a drudge. The work that must be put into salvation becomes magnified and you become blind to the numberless benefits. If this vital problem in your souls is not sufficiently dealt with, salvation will get to be too heavy, and you will drop it. May God help each of us to keep our consecration in a place where salvation is our greatest joy and treasure in life! (Preached on 11/1/1981).
What sets the true church apart is her crown! Without this crown, the title “church of God” is only a name. The position of the true church of God is with a crown on her head and her foot on the neck of all her enemies. If one is part of the true church, this is the position that they will have. Jesus Himself promised to give His people “power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy” (Luke 10:19). All the powers of darkness are subject to those who posses their crown. But this crown can be lost; and what a lamentable sight it is when a saint loses their crown! Therefore, if you now posses your crown, do all you must to defend it! (Message preached on 8/27/2000).

There is not a more powerful force on earth than our faith in Jesus Christ. “The true power and ability of faith is yet to be realized by most professed Christians.” Our faith in Christ enables us to overcome every enemy that comes before us. If we posses true faith, then the very resources of God are available to us. Faith is not just needed for a person to get saved, but the necessity of faith encompasses every area of a saint’s life. Overcoming faith is not optional; every saint of God will face a situation that only overcoming faith will get them through. May every one of us have this prayer: “Lord, increase our faith.” (Preached on 9/12/1982).
The gospel, when accepted by humanity causes both an instantaneous work of spiritual conversion and initiates an ongoing process of spiritual conversion. Praying through to God and obtaining a born again experience isn’t the fullness of our salvation experience; we must go on to entire sanctification, and be instantaneously, internally purged, upon praying through to heaven by the living power of the Holy Spirit, to experience the totality of conversion and the privileges made available by the gospel.
The Word is the only preventive against sin; therefore the devil's objective any and every time he comes is to catch the Word out of your heart. The Word is one of the most powerful weapons that the saints have! When this world passes away, you will have something to stand on if you are standing on God's Word. But if you allow the devil to take the Word out of your heart, you have no preventive, and therefore cannot help but sin. Let us therefore hide the Word deep in our hearts where that wicked one cannot touch it! (Preached on 7/17/2004).
Since the genesis of time there has never been a single individual who was originally intended to spend eternity in hell. Hell is not prepared for humanity, but "for the devil and his angels". Man is like God in that, there is a part of man that will never cease to exist. An endless duration of torment waits for the soul who rejects God during their life. May God grant us the strength and will to escape the damnation of hell by whatever means necessary.

The saints of God cannot last without joy. The joy of the Lord is your strength; no joy, no strength. Joy is not an emotional response due to favorable circumstances, but it is your spirit's response when God witnesses His approval upon your life. Therefore joy is not something that can be conjured up the moment you are faced with a hard trial. Joy is accumulated as you walk with God. Listen closely to this message, for you will not be able to stand before what is ahead without the sufficient strength. (Preached on 10/5/1990).
Either you love God or you hate God, there is no middle ground. The concept of hating God is not a foreign idea in our world today, in fact, the world is filled with haters of God. Knowing this, think it not strange when you are hated by the world, "for the world hated Christ before it hated you"; but rather expect to be hated by the world, and view it as a confirmation of your "Christ"-ianity. If you love God you'll keep his commandments and you'll stand for all the truth His word sets forth. If you hate, resist, or deny Gods commandments you hate, resist, and deny God himself. Listener, may we love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength.
The service that you are giving to your earthly responsibilities should not come close to the level of service that you are giving to God. But the sad thing is that there are some whose service to God would not even to be acceptable in their natural affairs. How about your service? "If Jesus came to your house to spend a day or two -
If He came unexpectedly, I wonder what you'd do." Would you have to alter your level of service? God burdened Pastor Hampton's heart with this all-important message, and we all would do well to carefully examine ourselves in comparison.
Take a second and really consider this question. Are you more concerned with your business or God’s business? It is not optional or up to subjective decision that we make spirituality our driving force and chief concern in life; it “must” be. Either our Father’s business is prime to us or He wants absolutely nothing to do with us. Lord help us all to completely remove our focus from ourselves and realign it to the work of God.

Listener, can you honestly say that at this moment you are ready to do whatever God calls you to do? Pastor Hampton brought out the point that to be ready is to be prepared to act immediately; without hesitation. God only works through and for those who are ready. Many have blown opportunities that God presented because they were unready. May this all-important message cause us to take inventory of ourselves, knowing that readiness is not an option. God sacrificed His son for us, therefore we ought to live our life as a physically moving, living, or quickened sacrifice; spiritually dead to ourselves, sin, and the disposition to sin, and totally committed to serve God, our brethren in the Lord, and our human family. God is requiring what we hold dearest, yea even our own life. May the Lord grant us all a sincere grasp of this message. (preached on 09/07/86)
In order to stay in this fight, we must have our body subdued. This is the burden that God placed on Bro. Hampton's heart to deliver that Sunday Evening in 1995, but it is still so needful. We must not only have our body in check, we must keep it in check no matter the circumstances. If you let your body have its way in one area, this looseness will most certainly spread to other areas. And once you let the flesh get out of line, it is very hard to get it back under. This not only pertains to the natural appetites, but also to the mind. The fight is in the mind first; if you do not keep your mind in check, then your actions will follow. May we all take careful inventory of ourselves after hearing this message. (Preached 4/2/1995).
God is a spirit and divine in His nature. The church of God came down from heaven, and is a spiritual organism. God can only build this organism with individuals with the spirit of God or divine nature, hence the inception of the church upon the receiving of the Holy Ghost in Acts 2. If a church begins to exercise and promote people, purely out of what they can offer in terms of their natural ability and expertise, and not based upon their spiritual substance, they become an earthly organization. Anything external, such as: physical appearance, name, heritage, natural ability, socioeconomic status, relationships, etc. do not make you usable material in God's church, but rather the quality of your spiritual life.
Friend, when the day of judgment comes, God will judge all of mankind by one standard: His Word. Christ now acts as our attorney, and therefore shows tolerance. But listener, when that day comes, Christ will be our Judge, and all tolerance will be eternally past. As you are, so you will remain. The Lord placed this very serious burden on Pastor Hampton to deliver to the saints of God during the Vichy, Missouri Camp-Meeting in the year 2000. This message is needed now more than ever, so take careful heed. (Preached on 8/7/2000).
The full gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way for humanity to be constructed and formed into their rightful spiritual position in the eyes of God. False religion is totally incapable of bringing mankind to an acceptable standard with God, but rather seeks to subjugate people to something less than the entire gospel, which is always easier on the flesh. In this last dispensation of time, this spiritual war is heating up to unprecedented temperatures, and and our only means of survival is being under and taking heed to a clear, uncompromising, and pure gospel which is able to build us up. Listener, yesterday's glory is not sufficient for today! Just as the children of Israel had to gather fresh manna every day, the saint of God must get something fresh from God every day. God placed this burden heavily on Pastor Hampton's heart. He realized that if one does not get something fresh from God every day, they will become stagnate in their salvation. It is just as necessary for those in the pew to get fresh oil as it is for those in the pulpit. Every saint's ministry is vital, but one is of no benefit to the kingdom of God unless they have a fresh anointing.
When an individual has come to Mount Zion they have encountered the most fearful place on earth. Once you experience the extremity of Her elevation, you must think twice before considering anything less. The church of God is not a play thing. Her paths, truths, and judgments are not to be tampered with nor taken lightly. Pastor Hampton with an unction from the Holy One stirs the saints to realize the dangerous and often times irrecoverable repercussions of walking out on God or recanting on sound principles. The measure of your sacrifice determines the measure of God's glory in your life. Many who are lacking spiritually or otherwise are lacking because of their lack of sacrifice. Bro. Hampton delivered this burden to the congregation, showing how God does not just give out his glory at random. Those who are sacrificing the most are those in whom God manifests His power. Any time has mightily blessed you personally, it was invariably a time when you were living the most sacrificial; a time when you were exceeding the bear minimum or the norm. Unrestrained sacrifice always amounts to limitless glory!
You can make the most accurate estimation of one's spiritual depth, when the right decision to make in a costly situation isn't totally clear cut and obvious. God will intentionally bring us all to point where we don't know what to do in order to try us and reveal the innermost contents of our heart. It is in these situations that we climb in our "tower", lock the door, refuse unnecessary human counseling, and get the mind of God. Often times the option that is easiest on the flesh is not Gods will. In the words of Pastor Hampton "you better pray and pray hard." (preached on 12/22/07 at Springfield (OH) fellowship meeting, picture taken as he was preaching).
If you are saved, it is because you escaped from the bondage of sin. Knowing that, consider this thought: what is there to go back to? Pastor Hampton clearly brought out that you got saved because you were tired of the life of sin; it made you sick. If you decide to go back, you will not just go back to what you were sick and tired of, but something worse! And it will be harder to get out the next time than ever before. It is better for one to have never gotten saved than to get saved and go back. If you must pray, cry, or anything else, don't go back! (Preached on 7/29/2012).
Friend, have you lifted off yet? God is calling you to spiritual orbit. This place consists of more than just being saved and living right. This place is attained beyond the cares and concerns of this world; with our affections exclusively set on possessing the fullness of God. Many understand in theory the glory that God has for His church in the end time, but how many of us are willing to give up life to experience that level of power in 2024? Pastor Hamptons shows us what it takes to get there in today's episode (preached on 10/1/97).
If a saint is not operating at full capacity, then they are a burden to the cause of God. This is because someone else is pulling some of the weight that they should be carrying. Bro. Hampton challenged the congregation's heart with this challenging message on September 11, 1988. He emphasized that the presence or lack of an office in the church does not determine whether one is a benefit or a burden. The determinant is whether or not God can use you in any way He needs you.
We are in war. We are engaged in the most serious battle mankind has ever known; a spiritual battle between truth vs. error, right vs. wrong, and good vs. evil. God has styled his church as an army. God has styled those that make up His church as soldiers. In this message Pastor Hampton masterfully connects his personal experience in the Marine Corps, with how we are to conduct ourselves as soldiers in the army of God.
"Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall; all the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Humpty together again." Though this message may seem amusing from the title, Bro. Hampton skillfully drew a sobering spiritual lesson from this poem. If you make shipwreck of your faith, it may not be able to be put back together again; this is why we must fiercely guard our faith! (Preached 8/1/1993).
At this very moment God is conducting the final gathering; consisting of all people who are pure in their hearts, totally honest, and sincerely desire the truth. This final unifying effort is only going to be, and is currently being accomplished by the sounding forth of God's unique and distinct message for the church and world by his blameless ministry. Listener, may we earnestly contend to be apart and a perpetuator of what God is doing in these last times. (Preached at the 1997 Vichy (MO) camp meeting on 8/7/97).
Who you are indeed will eventually show. Pastor Hampton brought this out with clarity on November 15, 2000. There are some who go along with the truth because it is expected of them by the saints, but not because it is who they are. But a person will always end up doing what they truly want to do, whether this be to do wrong or right. This is a pattern that none is excluded from because all have either a divine or carnal nature which drives them.
Friend, anything the world has to offer us or any situation we face in life is only for a season. While living on earth we are confined to certain limitations and boundaries. One of these being that nothing we face can or will last forever. "Our light affliction which is but for a moment" is not for our harm, but rather for our development. In this message we are reminded that no matter how dark our trial may get it's temporary, and is working for our good. (Preached 7/16/06).
Listener, we live in a time where very few people truly love God according to His standard of love. On the second day of 1991, Pastor Hampton delivered the heavy burden of what undivided love for God truly is. By the help of God, Bro. Hampton made it clear that the commandment to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength is to be taken at face value. God expects and accepts nothing short of it.
The Holy Ghost is the key figure in the new testament Christian. Without a definite infilling of the Holy Ghost, we cannot pray as we ought; in fact, we cannot even live a consistently holy life without Him. On September 27, 1981, Bro. Hampton clearly manifested the necessity of the Holy Ghost in the life of the saints, pulling his text from Luke 11:1-13. He also briefly taught how the Holy Ghost is attained, and how that God is more willing to give the Holy Ghost than you are to receive Him, if you will meet the conditions.
Today we are in for a special treat. In this episode we travel back to May 10, 2008, and experience Pastor Hampton give the eulogy for the love of his life, Buelah Beatrice Hampton. Pastor Hampton and his wife, Beatrice, came together in holy matrimony on May 8, 1954 and were blessed to see 54 wonderful years of marriage. From this blessed union came 11 children and 40 grandchildren. Pastor Hampton and his wife, Beatrice, spent countless time laboring together all across the United States and North America in various church of God congregations, attending a plethora of different camp meetings, holding revivals in numerous states, launching out on several mission trips, visiting the homes of the precious saints of God, and ultimately building, expanding, and leading the great work back at home in Jackson, Michigan.
Even in Pastor Hampton's older age, his message never lost its depth and anointing. On January 16, 2015, in Springfield, Ohio, Brother Hampton delivered the challenging burden on his heart. His burden was for the saints of God to truly understand that we must operate under as if we were slaves to the Spirit of God; bound in the Spirit. Any and all spiritual success in the church has and will come from a people whose lives are not their own.
Friend, God himself desires your foremost attention, concern, and pursuit. The general course of the world suggests that money ought to be the thing we spend the most time going after, the thing we think about the most, and that which holds the most value to us. In this message, preached on September 27, 1981, Pastor Hampton proclaims how easy it can be to slip into a state in which the way you spend your time and energy proves that money is your primary aim, and how to guard against that dangerous, normalized, anti-Christian condition.
On Wednesday October 13, 1999, Pastor Hampton delivered his burden about the people of God having a perfect attitude. Though this is a rarity today, it is a necessity. Without this message being lived out in the church, there will be no church because an imperfect attitude stops the process of God. However, when this experience is present, God can form each saint into a vessel that He can use for His glory because they are able to bear chastisement, and be perfected by it!
Friend, we are living in a rushed world. It is easier now more than ever to be caught up in the busyness and complexities of life. In this message Pastor Hampton takes his text from 2 Corinthians 11:3, and instructs us to pursue the simple lifestyle God has called us to as Christians. Most of the world is tirelessly working to advance their personal affairs at the expense of their spiritual condition. We can not afford to have divided affection in regards to the things of God. As we explore this message today, God help us all to slow down the pace of our lives, scale back in our earthly involvement, and give ourselves exclusively to God.
There are some very exalted positions in this world, but if you are a true saint of God, you are elevated above them all! On Wednesday September 2, 1987, Pastor Hampton plainly manifested how full salvation is an experience that exalts the saints above the world and its ways, but with this position comes a great responsibility. Though the devil plots and attempts to pull us down, we must not come down an inch. We must hold it because we may be the only light in someone's life.
Friend, no matter what your situation is, there is hope! This message takes us back to a very pivotal, deciding, and special moment in Pastor Hampton's ministry, in the beginning of 1986. At this time the congregation was experiencing a multitude of very intense situations, and the pressure was on like never before. Upon delivering the message Pastor Hampton experienced a shift of thought and took his text from Job 14:7. Early into the message we experience the Holy Ghost completely take over the atmosphere and refresh His people in historic fashion.
In this message, Pastor Hampton brings out the mindset that the saints must have in order to be to make it to heaven. He pulls his text from the ending phrase of Philippians 3:8, "that I may win Christ." His burden was for the saints to understand that settling for just being saved is not enough; we must have a violent mindset. We must have a mindset that every enemy we face we are going to tear into it and we are going to win because God is with us!
Who we are and what we have become today is a direct result of the choices we have made. Dear listener, we are in a constant battle against the enemy of our soul, who works endlessly to cause us to make the wrong choices. In this episode Pastor Hampton takes his text from Joshua 24:15, and stirs us all to be aware of the seriousness of our choices, and strive to be amongst those few who's choices align in total congruency with the will of God.
Friend, listen closely today. Society has made a successful effort in eliminating the presence, influence, principles, and voice, of God's church in our everyday lives. God only has one church, and she is beautiful. In this episode, Pastor Hampton walks us masterfully through the book of Songs of Solomon and how Solomon's descriptive word choice connects to the traits of "The Beautiful Church of God" today.
A message for Matthew 11:28-30, Pastor Hampton preached his message titled "Relax". He focused his message on the portion of scripture, "and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Most people it today's world are living on edge and they are always looking for a way to help them relax. Whether it's in pills, vacationing, alcohol, or any other type of method in this world, Pastor Hampton explained how you won't find it. You will always be searching for another way to relax yourself, unless you come to Christ. There is no rest outside of Christ!
Pastor Hampton preached the message "Looking Back From Eternity" on March 31, 1985. A message from Luke 16:19-31 about the rich man looking back from eternity in hell. Pastor expressed his burden on the depth and timelessness of eternity. Hindsight is always better than foresight, it's always easier to see things more clearly. Although in the case of eternity, if you put off getting right with God, it will be everlastingly too late.
Pastor Hampton preached the message "Will You Be The Man" on January 5, 1997. He asked the audience this compelling question to stir souls to give their lives to the Lord. Pastor Hampton read from Jeremiah 5:1 and expressed how God wants to find someone of the caliber He can use in a definite way. He probes the audience to find out who is willing to take the challenge of giving their life to the Lord.
On March 31, 1985, Pastor Hampton preached a very encouraging message to the saints of God called "Too Much To Deal With". He started off the message encouraging the saints to fight back against the devil, regardless of how you got into the corner the devil has you in. The devil wants you to think that you can't get out of the corner but that's because he wants you to give up. If your mind is made up the serve God, God's grace is sufficient for whatever you're going through, and you can fight your way out of the corner he got in you! Just fight and come out! He preached the message from 2 Corinthians 11:24-28 and Philippians 4:11-13.
Pastor Hampton preached the message "Why Would God Allow Satan" on July 9, 2000. This message is something many have questioned over the ages. Pastor Hampton addressed this thought in the scriptures of John 13:1-3 and Luke 4:5-6. First, he explained how Judas toyed with the devil and eventually Judas was persuaded by the devil and "he entered into him". Anytime you yield to the devil you are adding to the devil's kingdom. Pastor Hampton explained that the devil received his kingdom by people yielding to him. The devil's kingdom is built either knowingly or inadvertently. Pastor Hampton exposed the devil in this message to help keep the saints from building the devil's kingdom.
Pastor Hampton preached the message, "True Bread" on September 10, 1989. John 6:32-33. What Christ preached is the "true bread", and according to the word of God, we must receive everything Christ preached. Pastor Hampton challenged all listeners to understand that everything that is preached in a sermon doesn't mean it's the true word of God. The devil promotes a half gospel, which is no gospel at all! The saints of God must stand on EVERY word of God!
On February 27, 1983, Pastor Hampton preached the message "Stay on Top." This message challenged the saints to evaluate their position they have against the devil. He opens the message reading from the book of Romans 16:17-20. He expressed that once God has placed you on top of the devil, you must take advantage of your position and stay there! He explains that when your position changes, things won't look the same in your experience and the devil will take advantage of you, 2 Corinthians 2:10-11. We must "Stay on Top" of the devil at any cost!
On April 14, 1985, Pastor Hampton preached a heavy message, "Faultless Before God." From Revelation 14:1-5, these scriptures describe a group of people that are without fault in this life. He preached on the seven churches that are written about in Revelation chapters 2 and 3. Out of the seven churches, only one was acceptable with God, because they were without fault before God! Pastor Hampton challenges all who listen that you can be "as good" or "sincere" as you want to, but the scriptures require you to be faultless before the Almighty God!
"Always Abounding" is a message that was preached on November 8, 1987. Pastor Hampton preached his message from 1 Corinthians 15:57-58. He expressed to the saints that they must have an ALWAYS abounding experience because Christ has promised us nothing less! Don't settle for an experience with God that's occassionally bounding but always abounding, no matter what negative life experiences you face!
A message from November 1, 1987, Pastor Hampton preached from the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 2. We learn from the life of Solomon that he achieved all types of accomplishments and fulfillments in his lifetime, but all was vanity! The majority of people in this world are feeling, grabbing, and seeking for what's not there in life. Pastor Hampton encourages listeners to stop seeking for fulfillment in worldly ambitions and achievements because the fulfillment will never be found there!
A message from Genesis 3:14-15, Pastor Hampton expressed to the saints that they must give the devil a death blow that will bruise yourself in the process. The message of "Bruising Satan's Head" was preached on April 28, 1982. This is a message of perfecting holiness in the saint of God, that challenges the saints to resist the devil by the example Christ gave us in Isaiah 53:5-10. Through Christ, we can resist the devil and never let the devil get a negative response from us! You can bruise the devil when he comes against you and you don't respond they way that the devil wants you to! As you feel the pain of resisting the devil, you will "bruise his head" and he will "bruise your heal" like the scriptures state.
February 4th 1996 Pastor Hampton preached a very heavy gospel from 1 Peter 4:17-18. Peter was very thorough in his epistle to the saints in his day, and Pastor Hampton no doubt, was as exact and he expressed his burden to his saints in 1996. "Judgment in the house of God" deals with God's church; those who have turned away from all sin and walking in the light of God, challenging them to properly self reflect before trying to go and do evangelistic work in the world. A message that draws a line of distinction from God's Church and the world, and God's church and religion. This message from from Peter has truly transcended the ages.
A message from December 6, 1992, Pastor Hampton preached a message from the quote "ashes to ashes, dust to dust, life is too short, so party I must". This quote is adapted by almost every young person at least one time in their life. Pastor Hampton supports his burden from the text 2 Peter 2:9-10, focusing on "presumptuous and self-willed". He also referred to Luke 15:11-13, the story of the prodigal son, to show the urgency many get to party regardless of their upbringing. His preaching exposes the traps of the enemy and the tragedies of choosing to party rather than choosing salvation.
On May 16th 2013, at a revival in Bowling Green, Ohio, A saged Pastor Hampton preached the message “A Critical Crossroad”. In this message Pastor Hampton illustrates how God will eventually bring the soul that is on the fence to a crossroad, yet not a crossroad to be lingered at, but in the time of Gods enlightening shall that soul choose as it were, life or death. December 16, 1987, Pastor Hampton preached a very challenging message for the saints of God, "Accentuate the Positive". He expressed how the devil can cause you to focus on the negative aspects of life and ultimately shift your focus as a saint of God. He reads from Job 2:7-10, and explains how good and evil will happen to each person, but there is a power that the saints of God have! Through Christ, the saints can rise above all negative situations and keep a positive outlook on life!
It is Done was preached on March 29th in the year of 1987. In this message Pastor Hampton does his best to try to illustrate the operation of God and to make his saints aware of the closing of time. The design of the message will naturally bring the thirsty soul to a holy sobriety as he comes to the understanding that eternity looms in sight and that the work of God will soon be finished.
"How Noah Condemned the World" a message revealing a mystery of the longevity of a true saint of God and at the same time identifying why so many souls miss out on, or lose geinune bible salvation; not allowing anything to get in-between them and God. Pastor Hampton preached this message November 10th 1986. The opening text is Hebrews 11:7.
On May 2nd of 1999 Pastor Hampton Preached a powerful message on sin and its threefold effects: Blinding, Binding, and the Grinding. Sin has a destructive path for everyone that engages with it without discrimination and many souls are in need of warning. As Pastor Hampton warned his congregation then, we pray that the listener takes heed today of the three-fold effects of sin.
Twenty Four years ago, Pastor Hampton and First Lady Beatrice Hampton Tagged team for a mothers day special. Sis Beatrice begins the service acknowledging the mothers of Zion and illustrating to the world the value of a praying mother and what she means to a child. Pastor Hampton proceeds with his burden given to him by the Holy Ghost and releases his message God's Possession. May the Lord bless the hearts of those that hear this word, and Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers.
Pastor Hampton Preached "The Quest of a Thirsty Soul" on June 30th of 1985. His burden was a simple, expressing what should be the natural response to a soul in pursuit of Christ and the things of God. This sermon no doubt moved many to the altar. The text is found in Matthew 5:6.
Pastor Hampton was a man of great faith and strongly believed and the power of God. He had a great desire for families to make it into the kingdom of heaven. With such a burden, he knew that there would be situations where it looked like it was impossible for some to surrender to God. But Pastor Hampton believed God and considered himself also a "Hard Case". In this message brother Hampton encourages his saints to continue to press and to pray, despite the hard cases that present themselves.
On February 17th, 1982, Pastor Hampton used Christs' message to the church at Ephesus and poured out his burden to his saints at his local congregation. The burden was to reignite the people's intimacy with God. To express his full burden he throughly examines the condition of the church at Ephesus and correlates their condition to many christians at the time of his preaching. February 5th 1984 Pastor Hampton encouraged God's people by reminding them of the faithfulness of God. There are times in the life of the christian where he will sense that he is in need of a great deliverance, and it may feel as if God is not there, it may feel as if the enemy is prevailing, but Pastor Hampton uses the word of God to show how God is Faithful. He Delighteth In Mercy is arguably one of Pastor Hamptons greatest sermons. God's character is often depicted as of a great judge, strict and stern, ready to correct and punish the the transgressor. But Pastor Hampton reveals God's true character, that administers judgement only when he has exhausted all other methods of brining a soul to correction. This sermon is most inspirational, and truly magnifies the depth of Gods mercy. The text is found in Micah 7:18.
September 8th of 1985, Pastor Hampton preached a powerful message on consecration. Pastor Hampton brings out the depth of consecration, separation and dedication to the cause of God. He illustrates the great promotion God's children have received when they have left all the world to follow Jesus. Through the sermon text, he then illustrates what great demotion that occurs when a soul decides to turn back to all that he left for Christ sake.
On August 28th, 1994, the Pastor Hampton stirred the minds of people and challenged his audience to Holiness. The Pastor eliminates the idea that holiness living is unattainable, instead he argues the contrary and declares that people simply do not take time to be holy. Rising Above our Environment is a message a message that has been preach throughout the history of Gods church. This message preached by Pastor Hampton certainly speaks to Gods church at large in this Laodicean age. June 11th, 2000 Pastor Hampton illustrated the conflict between the church and the world, and how the influence of the world has tried through the ages to overwhelm God's people. But the Pastor reassures the listeners of the promises of God. The text is found in Numbers 14:22.
On February 18th of 1982 Pastor Hampton releases his burden to his audience of the importance of pleasing the Holy Ghost. He expresses how when the Holy Ghost is pleased, his power is made manifest. He also warns of the dangers of pleasing the flesh. The opening text can be found in Acts 15:23
Excusing one’s self, explaining away our own faults is a dangerous thing, but to believe that we are ok because we do good in other areas opens up an opportunity for deception to enter into the heart. On September 19th of 2004 Pastor Hampton preaches the sermon “Self Justification”, a message that brought many souls to the altar in seek of humility.
“The Sinfulness of Sin” was preached by Pastor Hampton on December 14th of 1986. It is a message that reveals the truth of sin and its detriment to the soul and society. Pastor Hampton uses the scriptures to reveal the seriousness of sin, God’s attitude towards sin, and warns the audience of the danger of minimizing sin .
