But, many of the important and meaningful things, like building a business, or making a significant change in your life don't require happiness - and, they don't usually produce it quickly either. Becoming an entrepreneur requires reinventing who you are. Going from employee to entrepreneur is a giant leap. I'd argue that this energy actually repels the goal! Listen to this episode of you want to learn to achieve your goals by fueling your actions with better fuel and enjoy yourself much more in the process.
In this episode of Send It Sunday, I am teaching you how to live into your future self, the version of you 5 or 10 years from now who has all the things your present self wants. This concept will help you "be in the energy" of the thing you want, whether that is a million-dollar business, a business that makes a huge social impact, an amazing group of friends, an amazing partner, etc. The way you feel as you take action toward your goals really impacts whether or not you will achieve them. Listen to this episode to understand what you should do with other people's opinions.
The problems in our lives are actually really enlightening. Entrepreneurship shows us so much about ourselves! Often we try to avoid, fix, or ignore recurring problems, rather than listen to ourselves kindly and non-judgmentally so we can understand the root cause. I've personally found that my problems are always rooted in a limiting belief I've been carrying around. I think this is mostly true for others as well. Listen to this episode of Send it Sunday to see how your problems are often your compass to guide you toward something really spectacular - a more authentic and kind-to-yourself version of YOU.

Listen to this episode if you want to feel better about your circumstances, whether personal, business, health, or relationships...thought work tools can help with anything. In this episode, I share some of my "problem" thoughts about my business and my health. Listen to see how I personally decided to change certain thoughts I had from my childhood about working hard and certain thoughts I had relating to a difficult health situation. In this episode, I give a framework for understanding how to create new thoughts and practice believing them. Thought work is not as simple as thinking positive affirmations or "positive thinking" which, by the way, doesn't work long-term! Thought work is a practice of understanding your thinking and choosing to practice believing a new story about yourself or your circumstances.
Listen to this episode to understand a phenomenon called confirmation bias and how it can negatively impact what you create in your life. Confirmation bias is the tendency to interpret new evidence as confirmation of one's existing beliefs or theories. For example, if you believe you are just unorganized...your brain will only find evidence to support that thought that "I'm unorganized." Your brain edits, and it finds whatever it is looking for to support your already existing beliefs. This is just the way brains work unless you guide them. So, it is your job to make sure your brain is directed toward finding evidence to support whatever it is you want. If you have an unhelpful belief about yourself, chances are you believe it because your brain has found a lot of evidence to support it. But, you can reprogram your brain to seek other evidence...this is the beauty of thought work. Listen to the episode to find out how.
Meeting the energy of the thing you want to create in your life is necessary in order to actually create it. In other words, you cannot create anything amazing from a place of overwhelm, hustle, exhaustion, and striving... and you certainly can't do it from a place of self-doubt. That's not to say you have to feel 100% unstoppable all the time in order to find success...that would be impossible! In this podcast, I show you how to generate emotions on purpose so you can take action from those emotions and create better products, services, and relationships.
Your relationship with yourself is the foundation for ALL of your other relationships. First, when you have a great relationship with yourself, you won't need other people's validation, acceptance, opinions, or guidance. You trust yourself first and foremost. Second, the relationship you have with yourself is key to whether or not you will set big goals for yourself and do the work to achieve them. Third, having a great relationship with yourself will definitely make you a better friend or partner because you will be more generous and loving towards others.
Allowing yourself to feel abundant can be tricky. Feeling abundant, especially for marginalized identities, can even feel unsafe. You will learn how feeling abundant can help you meet the energy of what it is you want...certainly in your business, but also your personal life.
In this episode, I talk about how painful it can be to feel like you don't belong and how crucial it is to cultivate feelings of belonging on purpose FOR YOURSELF and BY YOURSELF. Even marginalized communities can confront patriarchy and heteronormative standards by deploying their own sense of belonging.
Starting a business can be a mindf*ck for anyone, even for the most typical cis-gendered straight white dude. But, for women, for LGBTQ+ folks, for fat, indigenous, neurodivergent, and certainly black folks, starting a business is so much harder. In this podcast, I offer that thought work which leads to radical self-love and unwavering belief in your own worthiness is the answer! As always, your thinking creates the results you see. Listen to this week's podcast to learn how to grow and evolve yourself and your business even in a heteronormative and patriarchal society.

Tune in to understand how you can learn to believe whatever the heck serves you, no matter what!
In today's episode, I'm talking about the tendency, as new business owners, to look to other people for "how" to start, run, and grow our own businesses. Join me to discover why asking other people "how" they did it and then trying to replicate their "how" is BS and a huge waste of time! Save yourself some time and find out how your own personal growth, power, and FUN are in finding your own "how" instead of asking other people for theirs!
What if you could turn off the negative chatter in your brain? Our human brains love to point out all of the things that can go wrong, and all of the reasons we should just play it safe and small. But, what if you could take control of the narrative and talk to yourself in a way gets you the results you want to see in your life?
Waiting until things are perfect or until you feel ready is a huge waste of time. In this episode, I share how I have learned to let go of perfectionist tendencies in certain areas of my work in order to get more done and move quicker. I share how insisting on perfection is really just you wanting everyone to like you. Perfection is boring, living and learning from mistakes is interesting.
In today's episode, I share how entrepreneurs can choose to accept that fear is part of the deal when growing a business and, rather than resist it, we can learn to process that fear and use that fear energy to create powerful results in our businesses.
