How did we get to weapons from world building power systems? Nobody knows and now we’re here. Two Writing Goblins has become a bit and CJ hates it. CJ glitches, we talk about our power systems and somehow end up dueling each other, bo staff on sword. We lose all pretense of staying on topic and talk about Girl, Serpent, Thorn (there ended up being no spoilers), the power systems we write, and the weapons we know to use.
In which Cyren (all pronouns) and CJ (any pronouns) officially return from hiatus, along with updates on scheduling, announcement of a Pinterest account, and some very quotable lines.
CJ is not procrastinating editing. Definitely not. Not at all. High school artists and creatives (ah yes the two genders), I summon thee to the National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards! It’s a competition for scholarships and recognition of your work on a United States national scale. There is a cost of $7 per entry and if you are a graduating senior, $25 for a portfolio. This is only available to teens between grades 7-12 who live in the US. There is little downside to submitting other than $7, and a plethora of positives. Here’s the website: https://www.artandwriting.org/awards/ And finally, have a fantastic week and remember that you are loved!
Guess what? We’re BACK! Finally… Well, it’s been a while and we’re still getting back our footing. We’ll be working on our uploads and possibly recording episodes to fill the gaps on weeks we miss. Definitely expect more of us in the weeks to come!
I got all four of my Wisdom teeth out so here’s 9 minutes just about this one challenge. The gist is to write a short story under 750 words based on one of the photo prompts and submit according to the instructions that can be found online at: https://naples.floridaweekly.com/articles/writing-challenge-40/ This is only for Florida residents and if you want, please write a story! There are no downsides to submitting a story! There will be three new photos for round 2 on June 15th, 2022! To find the new prompts put “Florida Weekly Writing Challenge” into Google and read the details.
Hi! (this is Cyren making the title and description for once) This is just an episode where we talk about planning for future episodes, a bit about release scheduling, and a lot about books that make people (namely me, Cyren) cry. If you have any book or topic recommendations you can put them in the Q & A (which is, to reiterate, only a Spotify feature). Thanks for your patience with our uploading schedule and see you in February!
Hi! This episode is just kind of an in between episode (which eventually leads to both of us rambling) where we (and because this is good to include, the “we” is describing CJ (any pronouns) and Cyren (all pronouns)) just explain a little bit about our current uploading status and I don’t know how that Q & A thing works but hopefully we can figure it out. Also CJ preaches about Khan Academy and knowing math.
Join Cyren (all pronouns) and CJ (any pronouns) for the second half of what initially was Episode 2. We talk about the wonderful world of My Hero Academia (僕のヒーローアカデミア), most specifically the Joint Training Arc. Listen to CJ struggle with names they know how to say but can’t. due to unfortunately not having the technical know-how to link photos, you must strive and labor to look class 1a and 1b up for yourself. This means that none of you can see our beautiful art nor the spectacle that is the four broken pencil leads that fell off of Cyren’s pencil. This is likely one of the most chaotic episodes of Two Writing Gremlins so far. Have fun during the holidays and be safe friends!
A quick episode for those celebrating Hanukkah! (Make sure to watch for the episode dropping tomorrow!)
Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate! Be careful, wear masks, and test for covid when applicable! Have fun and don’t be dumb this holiday season!
Join CJ (they/them) and Bella (she/her) on the second episode of Two Writing Gremlins. In this episode they chat about They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera and We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. Sadly their recording was over 74 minutes long so, it had to be split into two parts. Unfortunately, the discussion of My Hero Academia was pushed to part two. But always remember to watch your step! You never know when a cookie bite might pop up!
Join us (Cyren (all pronouns) and CJ (any pronouns)) for the first episode of Two Writing Gremlins, in which we introduce the podcast, ourselves, and some of our favorite books. (transcription isn’t really working with us well so it might take a minute)
