We discussed the future of renewable energy with Dr Inna Braverman. Inna is CEO of Eco Wave Power, a wave energy firm based in Israel, and recently listed on the NASDAQ. Inna’s career story to date is a powerful one, starting from when she was born in the immediate aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and leading to her leadership of a fast-growing international wave energy firm. On the eve of the Australian Open 2022 we chat to Melbourne born and bred tenniz player and coach Adam Hubble. Adam talks us through his professional career including the tough decisions regards accepting a USA scholarship, turning pro, specialising in doubles, and dealing with injuries. For our final episode pre-Christmas 2021 we visited the Mission to Seafarers, Melbourne. We chatted to Sue Dight the CEO of the Mission to find out about the amazing and varied ways in which they care for visiting seafarers who come into port. We also found out about Sue's own career journey which is an inspiration. It's a nice time of year to be inspired by the story of an organisation that's looks out for a forgotten group. We visited Melbourne wine merchant Phil Hude in the wine cellar of his thriving business. Phil has owned and operated Armadale Cellars for almost 25 years in Melbourne's south east. Phil tells the story of turning his passion into a business. Its not all highs as we discussed some of the tough issues including running his business during the GFC and difficulties of being a license holder in the hospitality industry. Overall, Phil shares so much about how to get a business going, how to look after your customers and what it takes to succeed. It's a great yarn.
For our third episode we dialled up Dr John Allen from Kentucky USA. John has written multiple books and lectured as an anthropologist on human behaviour. John shares with us his observations on behavioural changes as a result of the pandemic. We also chatted about the evolutionary changes in how humans interact with food, bringing up thought provoking ideas such as why crispy foods easily cross borders and cultures. This interview was a real out of the box conversation that will lift you from the humdrum of your everyday routine. Be prepared to learn something new!

We tune in with Paula from the Coromandel Peninsula (in New Zealand) where she is currently chair person of film bay of plenty and TOHEA, a film apprenticeship program for Maori Youth. We chatted about the many highlights of her career, but also had a very honest conversation about the realities of bringing up four children as a single mum in the 70s. Paula's story is all about both empowering mothers to continue to pursue their careers and about what it takes to succeed in the film and television industry.
