Hi! I’m Khadija (or Khadiga or Doujie - whatever you wanna call me). I’m a dentist, but I’ve always wanted to be a writer, so this is me putting my voice out into the world. This is an open letter from me to anyone who will listen. We’re here to talk about anything and everything, the stuff we go through every day from things as pivotal as mental health issues to things as trivial as our favorite snacks. This is a space where everyone is free to just be. So come as you are; I'm here to be your new best friend. Sincerely, me.
Hello beautiful people,
I've been gone for a while, but it's all good. I just needed some time to focus on my mental and physical wellbeing, like we all do sometimes.
Today we are talking about flashbacks, and it's one of the topics that I've heavily avoided in the past, because it was one of those things that disturbed me deeply and I couldn't really talk to anyone about it. So here we are working it out together. As always! Let me know what you think and feel free to reach out and request any topics you' d like to hear about.
More to come!
Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people,
It's been a minute; I'm back with a new episode, which is a little on the morbid side today. But as real as always. Today we're talking about losing someone you love to death and dealing with the emotions and the grief. It might be a difficult one and if you're not ready for it, you can always come back when you are.
More to come!

Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people,
I'm back with a rambling episode on feeling accomplished. I am FINALLY done with my master's and it's been YEARS, so it's about time I actually felt proud of myself and this is me expressing it.
More to come! xo
Sincerely,
me.
Hello everyone,
I am back with a new episode and today we are talking about toxic positivity. If you've experienced it, I think you'll enjoy the episode, and if you have no idea what the hell I am talking about, I think you'll enjoy learning about this concept.
More to come! xo
Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people,
Not when I usually post my episodes, but this was an impromptu belated birthday/eid special episode. A quick and easy listen that I hope you'll enjoy.

Hello beautiful people,
Long time no episode! I'm back with one of my existential kind of episodes. Today, I am reflecting on a concept brought up by a book I recently read, which is The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. It's an interesting read and if you listen I bet you'll wanna read the book. Let me know what you think.
More to come.

Hello beautiful people,
Today, we're talking about intentions and how to live our lives mindfully and with intention. It's a nice little reminder that we can, in fact, reclaim the rights to our own lives and pursue a life that aligns with who we are.

Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people,
Today on my little digital diary, "Sincerely, me.", I am reflecting on past mistakes and discussing whether they define us or not. Just my little two cents, nothing major, it's a thought I had the other day when I was having a conversation with my friends.
Let me know what you think.
More to come!
Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome back or to the podcast! Today we're talking BOUNDARIES and everything you need to know about the kinds of boundaries we can set, the characteristics of the boundary itself, the importance of having boundaries, and how to respect other people's boundaries. I think it's essential that we all educate ourselves on boundaries in this day and age. It's way too common to be misused. So let me know what you think!
More to come.
Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people,
This episode is going up on a Wednesday, because I missed last Friday. I was sick. Anyways, today I am telling you where "Sincerely, me" came from and how it's been an almost lifelong dream of mine to create this project (and another one!)
I'm also telling you the story of how I was introduced to mental illnesses and my journey with understanding. I end the episode by pointing out how mental health situations have lately been misused to excuse problematic behavior and why our own internal struggles are not ever meant to excuse poor behaviors. That's on you.
More to come!
Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people,
I'm back with a new episode about self-discovery and finding your purpose in life. I'm currently having an existential crisis myself, so today we're just venting. No profound findings, nothing really deep, just some casual venting about finding the thing we wanna do for the rest of our lives and hopefully turning that thing into a career. I DON'T KNOW.
Anyway, let me know how you feel about this..
More to come, hopefully not as out of control as this.
Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people,
I'm back with another episode (actually the first episode of 2023!) and today we are talking Abundance mindset Vs. Scarcity mindset, how to decide which one we're adopting, how to develop ourselves into more abundance mindset-oriented people, and how to cut ourselves some slack if we're pessimistic at times.
We're only human at the end of the day!
Let me know what you think!
More to come!
Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome back to another episode of Sincerely, me.
It's the last episode of the year! Today, we're talking about gratitude and how to end our year with a heart and mind full of gratitude for all that was, all that is, and all that is still to come. Today's episode is a little reminder to practice gratitude every single day and to appreciate the year as it ends and to take a deep breath going into 2023.
Happy holidays everyone
I wish you a peaceful and wonderful New Year.
Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people,
Today we're talking about New Year's Resolutions. I'm sure you've all made a bunch of new year's resolutions that you've never kept, just like I have. And that's why I decided to do a little research and understand more why it is we NEVER seem to keep them, and turns out it makes a lot of sense. It's all in the habits. And at the end of the episodes there are a few tips on how to stick to your New Year's Resolutions.
If you haven't listened to last week's episode "Creating Healthy Habits" I strongly recommend that you do first! I'll link it below.

Hello beautiful people,
This episode is inspired by the latest book I've finished which is Atomic Habits by James Clear, and just in time for the end of the year and the resolutions that'll start rolling in. Today, we're talking about how to create healthy habits and what kind of habits we should have in our lives.
Let me know what you think!
More to come.
Sincerely,

Hello beautiful people,
Today's episode is light and quick, basically just me reflecting on what memories are and how they're formed, an d how they might be forgotten. Just another thing to be thankful for. Following last week's episode about losing friends, I found myself remembering a lot of memories, so I thought I'd just reflect.
Much love, and more to come!
Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people!
I'm back with another struggle that we all have definitely gone through at one point in our lives, and that is losing a friend. The end of a friendship. As heartbreaking as it is, we have to learn to come to terms with it and accept the lifespan that this friendship was given. In this episode, we talk about why friendships end, how it feels, and how to cope.
Let me know what you think!

Hello beautiful people,
Today's episode is a gentle one. Today we're talking about emotional regulation and the steps we need to take to be able to self-regulate. It was very heartfelt for me to record and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Hello beautiful people,
Awkward episode ahead yikes
It's one of the hard stories I felt like I needed to tell, because I've been having a rough patch probably due to my condition, so I thought I'd reflect on it and tell you all about where I've come from, how far I've got, and how I continue to manage and play an active role in my own recovery. As we all should.
I hope this doesn't make you too uncomfortable.
Much love!
Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people!
Today we're talking about "the other side of the story" or in other words "our truth" and if you ask me it's something we overlook way too much. If only we accepted the fact that each person is entitled to their own truth, a lot of conflicts would be resolved. We talk about what it means to speak your truth and when can speaking our truths become a problem. There's also a minute of extra music at the end just for fun.
Enjoy!

Sincerely,
me.
Hello beautiful people!
Today, we're talking about REST, why we need to get some rest, how to get some rest, and just some general venting as usual.
Hello beautiful people,
I'm re-uploading this episode, because I switched around my host website, and this episode got lost in the transition.
This episode is a little different. We're getting to know each other a little better, or rather you're all getting to know me a little better. This episode, I'm answering 55 random questions about a bunch of things in life. I thought it would be a nice change of pace for you all t o get to know me on a slightly more personal level. The episode is a bit longer than usual but it's 100% unedited and 100% sincerely me! Enjoy!

Hello beautiful people
So this week, we're doing a quick little check in. We're talking all things wellbeing. The five dimensions and pillars of our overall wellbeing. I'm not getting all philosophical or anything, it's a quick easy listen, just a gentle reminder to myself and you all to really look at ourselves and make sure we're well. I also feel like I'm speaking in one of my more random personalities today. And yes, of course, I have a bunch of different personalities. Anywhooo, let me know what you think!

Hello beautiful people,
Today, we're talking about emotional validation. We're discussing the difference between validation and invalidation in meaning and giving examples with my little made-up scenarios, the different ways to validate another person's emotions, what validation is NOT, and the importance of self-validation. It's a bunch of information, but it's such an important and enlightening topic. I believe implementing this in our lives makes a HUGE difference. Let me know what you guys think!

Hello beautiful people,
Weird title, right? Well you'll be surprised, but I randomly saw this quote and it triggered a feeling of not being able to fit in for most of my life and being ridiculed and criticized for being slightly different. Soooo, that's what this episode is about. I tell a few stories about my life from childhood all the way to adulthood and the work environment, then we talk about why this tends to happen and what we can do as members of society and the community to make it better.
Let me know what you think!

Hello beautiful people!
Comparison is the thief of all joy. Teddy Roosevelt said that, not me. But it's true.
So, a little heads up, today the episode is a bit longer and all over the place. I'm all over the place tbh. I just didn't have enough time to prep this week and I kinda went on a full on rant today, so bear with me. Today, we talk about being compared to other people by people who mean a lot to us, when we first experienced comparison, comparing ourselves to the people around us (and possibly some potential benefit to it), and also comparison in regards to FoMO. We talk about the role of gratitude to ground us and make us feel secure in where we are and who we are.

Today we're exploring the 5 different languages of love, what they are, how to identify our own primary language of love, and how to communicate with and avoid being misunderstood by the people we care about.
It's a very interesting topic and a creative new way to self-reflect and self-discover.

Hello beautiful people!
Welcome back to Sincerely, Me.
Today, I have failed to give you a structured episode. It is what it is. But I do open up about depression as well as I know how.
This topic is very personal to me, as I have an ongoing journey with depression myself, and I tried to organize my thoughts as well as I could whilst trying not to step on my own toes in the process, so bear with me.
We put depression as a feeling into words in many ways and discuss different ways to describe depression and why they all matter. We talk about balancing the right and left hemispheres of our brain, why it's easy to invalidate a person's feelings if we approach their opposite side of the brain, and finally what NOT to say to someone who is struggling with depression.
I also lead with my goal of the week which is relevant to today's topic.
Let me know what you think!

Hello, beautiful people!
Today I am going on a rant about stress and anxiety, the difference between the two, my personal experience with both, and a few ways to manage.
I also set my goal of the week, and tell you all about how I feel that it's a step towards coping with stress.
Remember that this is just chit-chat. This doesn't necessarily have to work for you, but I hope that it will give you some insight and you'll be inspired to look within yourself and dare to try new ways to break out of an old pattern that is only weighing you down.
Until next time!
Sincerely,
me.

Hello, beautiful people, and welcome to my test run. We won't call it an episode yet, because today I will briefly walk you through what I intend to do with the platform and with your time.
Today, we're talking who I am, what I'm doing here, and why I'm doing it.
More to come!
